  1. Those fucking trumpets Seriously? Christ. This is definitely the worst.
  2. Yearly reminder these tracks still exist. As well as the jikkenteki remix. I want. Still.
  3. I'm a little disappointed with the lack of reviews for this one. Not sure why, as I know SkyTech definitely had hype behind him. I was going to write a very long review for this but it's just sitting on the back burner for ages and for some reason I'm having a hard time even starting. Sky Technologys debut was actually planned as far back as 2012 originally, but due to multiple issues it got delayed quite a bit and it's sound evolved a bit toward the nitzo kicks and style from goa because of the label it was being released on, but it's definitely more in the realm of goa than nitzo. I've been listening some of these tracks for like 4 years already and what strikes me is that, well, I'm still listening to them from time to time. I loved his first EP. It had such raw explosive melodies, one's that resonated with my brain so well I couldn't help but to become a follower who ended up doing a logo for him and then the artwork for the albums. What I really enjoyed about the process of the album coming together was the story. The tracknames correlate with the little story found in the booklet really well and I created the artwork to resonate with the idea as well. About the music, I still love many of the tracks, regardless of hearing them hundreds of times. Some of them definitely took me quite a while to appreciate when I originally heard them. Sky Technology sometimes lacks the finesse some other artists have, but he makes up for it with the melodies and unique sounds. The climaxes on this album are some of the best in goatrance ever made, in fact some of them are probably my favourite climaxes ever. Just listen to the climaxes of Magnetic Force, Broken Music Box, Sands Of The Desert and Babat Sink. The sheer explosive energy and rawness. I don't know how he does it, but he does. I just wish he got more recognition for creating such powerful tunes. This was my favourite album of 2015, excluding IFO remaster. And on that note, it might seem a bit biased as I was working so close to this project, but there's a reason why.
  4. It took me a few days to appreciate the album. At a first glance it's really messy and noisy, but listening to it, like pleiadians, you start to seperate the different layers from each others better. Enough's been said about the album being good, and I agree for the most part! I especially love parts like Procyons 2:45, chronos 5:00, the groovy-close-to-cheesy-but-not moments and the wicked dark atmosphere. The issue with this album, that I hope will be fixed in the next one, is the mixing. Everything just becomes a wall of sound. The layers don't breathe, whatsoever and it becomes really, really fatiguing to listen to. Unfortunately it's sometimes nigh-impossible to appreciate all the layers when they stumble on each others at climaxes and the bass/kick needs more oomph. It's 2016, I thought we were past this.
  5. Great but https://www.discogs.com/Lost-Buddha-Untold-Stories-2004-2007/release/1295527 I thought "Yoga" and "Mental Maze" were lost MP3 files? Are these the same MP3s from that release?
  6. Messiah (Orion) Resonance (Darshan) and Nervasystem tracks are epic. The compilation is generally a darker, more techy/experiemental side of goa of late 90s. Few great tracks and few forgettable ones. I'd say it's generally average though.
  7. I seriously would have guessed the Ezoterica track to be 1997-1998
  8. What an atmosphere! You should make OSTs for cyberpunk games/movies tbh.
  9. Great news but I am not liking that cover art thou
  10. This album is magnificent. I never really gave it attention because, well, there's so much to listen to, but I gave this another spin today and damn, what a pleasant surprise. The sounds he uses are very unique and the flow is impeccable. You can listen the album straight up from start to finish and it never loses your interest if you give it the attention it deserves. It's just so well produced and refined.
  11. 4:45 on the SAG track is damn powerful! And the stripper track has lovely guitary leads and an atmosphere. I love both of those tracks
  12. Would have preferred to hear examples of such mistreatment before the opinions.
  13. Eh? That's an incredible remix imo. It has that 90s perfecto vibe to it. Really soft and smooth sounding progressive atmosphere, like summer encapsulated into a track. As a remix I love it how it incorporates the original so subtly in, like it feels like a totally different track but it's still not. The star-x remix is much worse as it's a boring remix.
  14. Years ago. Many, many years ago. I am actually curious why I haven't. I've puked very little in my entire life, I can only recall like four times. Two of them were because of too much high percentage liquour, one was exercising too much on a hot summer day and one was eating too many chips..
  15. Crossing mind? Is it any different to the previous album?
  16. I really like the cover design, just not the actual music this time.
  17. Asterope live mix 7:35 is absolutely insane sound design. Literal alien screeching. What were they smoking in the 90s...
  18. Pound dropped 6.5% in less than 10 hours..
  19. Oh I thought it was strictly trade, that's why I didn't reply.. And how do you figure it's not hard to come by?
