  1. Sounds great! Now where is Joti sidhus new album...
  2. Meh cover, however his recent tracks have been pretty good. Looking forward.
  3. Again I feel like the first post requirements are not that much at all, so I don't think that is it. Personally I've got no time anymore. Back when I made reviews I had plenty of time to do that.
  4. What years are the tracks from? I'm not fond of the cover but the music sounds righteous!
  5. This album is actually pretty damn good I feel. The production is flawless and there's plenty of interesting elements to make this stand out some. I disagree. The cover is quite apt for the first track.
  6. I'm confused. Are you saying the album is excellent but you find goa boring? Or is the album boring? Thing is with Filipe is he can make a good track, uneventful, but still good. Then he makes another good track, but it follows the same exact formula and after that the third good track just becomes tiresome. The foundation never changes, the basslines, rhythm and sounds stay the same and the progression becomes very predictable. This has been a problem in all of his music throughout the years though unique tracks slip in between productions. That's not to say this is bad. This album reminds me of Moon Tribe with the sharp sounds, just way more in your face and predictable. For example there's some fantastic leads and melodies here, especially in tracks 1, 3 and 4, but the thing is, it just becomes so damn predictable so damn quick. Just like this so damn predictable sentence in this so damn predictable text editor.

  8. Oh, the font looked like youd make it. Who did it then?
  9. Laughing skull is brilliant. Idk why he hasn't released an album.
  10. That Adu track. Hearing goa like that in 2016, what a breath of fresh air. Same for ruby plexus.
  11. The free album on ektoplazm is fantastic.
  12. Quite different from the first album too. There's a clear evolution.
  13. Damn it's been almost 4 years since this was released and I haven't said anything except voice my disappointment in the sound compared to Erta Ale? I feel like I need to apologize. It took me time but I got over that, kind of. There is some absolutely fantastic music in this album. The first three are not my favourites but still good on their own terms. The first track is not my cup of tea, maybe it's the slower pace, maybe it's repeating itself too much. Ethereal Resonator has really lovely leads and a groovey sound to it. I like the samples in Cognitive Disorder and it's climax. However, what happens after that is, well, amazeballs. One blasting maximal track after another. Absolute madness. Unlike anything released thus far, sounds, compositions. Alien Brain Train gives goat man a run for it's money. I just love that never-ending speed of light movement. Also, I wasn't expecting much from Twin sister but it is a totally worthy remix of Goat Man and abduction Phenomena has a lovely b-movie scifi feel to it. All of the 5 tracks just kick major buttocks. What else is impressing is there is actual work done on the ground level, the tracks can be groovy and the tracks e v o l v e and have a story. What sorcery! I think what happened during the release was that the first three tracks weren't impressing me as much as I had hoped and the low from Erta Alé's high just destroyed me, too many emotions blinding what was actually absolutely stellar music. A great, great album and I have no doubt the sequel, whenever that may be, will be another to impress. Especially considering the tracks he has been releasing lately. Let's keep running! Thank you.
  14. Cowspiracy, everyone should watch it.
  15. Like this. No in your face melodies and what a track.
  16. I think it needs melodies to some degree (personal prefrence) but not in your face, at all.
  17. Bubblewrap is ok when it's summer but during winter the jewel case material breaks easy. Still it's a good thing to have an extra layer of it just in case.
  18. That really sucks. He was the best dark goa producer in new school.
  19. I liked that sample. I'd imagine it'd be awesome for a festival.
  20. I can only agree that there is a very homogenous sound in many releases. Old school had wider variety of elements in the tracks and a bigger emphasis on sound design. For example you rarely hear tribal elements in modern goa. Though I have to admit there are a-plenty of forgettable melodies in otherwise well produced tracks (e.g. Cosmic Dimension/Innerspace), soa gain Goa doesn't always need melodies in your face, even good rhythms(attention to the other elements) can make a track huge. And the artists that produce darker music just vanish or there are just a few. (Amanians...)
  21. That Wizzy Noise track sounds like Morphic Resonance. A lot. We're finally in the obscure unreleased territory. I like.
  22. I only saw this today. A long time ago I remember reading that Dice was opting out of Magnus's work for the Mirrors Edge sequel but then I saw this http://www.mirrorsedge.com/news/solar-fields-returns-to-create-mirrors-edge-catalyst-soundtrack The game is coming out May 24
