  1. Seriously. That remaster made a world of difference. All the layers have impact now, the remastered EP is better than the main album because of this reason alone! This music requires the layers to breathe and have the mix right, otherwise it becomes a wall of sound with no punch. For example the kicks are way more hollow and flat compared to the remasters punchy sound and it's just generally much deeper sounding. This EP just got shitloads better.
  2. You mean last two thirds of this compilation? I think the first 4 are meh but the rest 5 are totally stellar.
  3. Incredible quality. The only downsides are the borderline cheesy Sparks Remix and already released Shakta and Digicult, but that fact really doesn't take away from them. The rest? The best of what theses artists can deliver. Unfortunately the front cover isn't very good, I've seen Psara's work elsewhere and this just strikes me as lazy compared to stuff like Psysutra's or New Born's albums.
  4. Sounds so good. Mindsphere keeps delivering like crazy. I can't believe we've come this far from Patience For Heaven which I found very average with a few great tracks. Talk about a u-turn.
  5. Uyulala has such an awesome atmosphere and great melodies. Great album! Totally ignored it for some reason.
  6. No but you add the mixed album as 1 long track at the end.
  7. Absolutely looking forward to this! I have a question though, why did you decide to go mixed on the CD? Just curious.

    MFG - The Prophecy

Magnetic Actvi-vi-ty-vi-ty-vi-ty ra-ta-ta-ta. So intense! The whole album is full of flippin' rattlin' and trippin' awesome melodies. One of the greats. MFG is love.
  9. Joseph McDonough released a new album which turned out to be selections from toxeeds albums. The compilation was really good, but his actual albums always seem to contain fillers with a few gems in between. Still, worth a listen! Different sound to most goa.
  10. Pretty much agree with your sentiments here. The Blade Runner remix caught me off guard, it's a lot more subtle than the preview showed.
  11. I thought it was above average, really surprisingly good tracks here. Obviously with such a huge amount there are a couple that bring it down but not a whole lot.
  12. Really good climaxes here. As far as Full-on goes, this is more my cuppa.
  13. So wait, we aren't getting an uptempo mindsphere yet? *sobs*
  14. Not many are voting this on the 2016 poll. For me this iteration contains maybe a bit too many "weird tracks" on CD1. CD2 is better in general(but I think we've had enough Doof remixes ) although I've heard many of these tracks already. It's a great compilation, for many reasons(And tracks) but personally this didn't contain as many tracks I want to come back to as the previous compilations. Very good compilation regardless.
  15. I'm surprised you didn't like it that much. For example the critic of Zygote to me feels out of place to me because of the melody that arrives at 4:40 just decimates and lifts the track up on higher levels. I don't feel it would need anything else, the melodies do it alone. In general too I think the melody work is what makes this one work so well. However I can kinda see where you're coming from, just don't agree with. Album of the year for me. Powerful celestial melodies.
  16. Cocco you should listen to the first album too and the free EP! I can't believe you've not heard them. I have to write up something soon about this album just haven't had time. I think it's been a bit of a mixed bag for me, but one thing I find curious is that in the Cronomi Promo mix there were still a lot more unreleased awesome Artha tracks that aren't here for some reason..
  17. Great news. Did you do anything to the hihats thou?
  18. Yes! I've been looking forward to this too!
  19. Droning Full-on got me interested although I didn't really think it was I liked it. Progressive with a strong goa paint - it's very soft, no hard edges. I thought it had interesting production. I feel the aim was to be able to get lost in the tracks, as I find it rewarding if I give it the time, although I rarely do with anything. To be honest it kinda reminds me of Galactivation. The progression is very similar.
