I can only agree that there is a very homogenous sound in many releases. Old school had wider variety of elements in the tracks and a bigger emphasis on sound design. For example you rarely hear tribal elements in modern goa. Though I have to admit there are a-plenty of forgettable melodies in otherwise well produced tracks (e.g. Cosmic Dimension/Innerspace), soa gain Goa doesn't always need melodies in your face, even good rhythms(attention to the other elements) can make a track huge. And the artists that produce darker music just vanish or there are just a few. (Amanians...)

That Wizzy Noise track sounds like Morphic Resonance. A lot. We're finally in the obscure unreleased territory. I like.

I have Tinnitus on left ear caused by a variety of things(Loud noises, Otoxic medication). Mine gets louder from alcohol, not sleeping well, headphone use for a prolonged duration, tinny noises(like white noise), Magnesium and thinking about it. I've had it for +2 years so I've gotten used to it. It was absolute nightmare at the start though, it really destroyed my psyche for a while. Last night I had pulsatile tinnitus where I heard a swoosh sound with every heartbeat. I think it was caused by flushing my nose as the ear connects to the Eustachian tubes.
