  1. There we go! Under $20 shipped to my home, as opposed to the $30 from Boshke Beats. Kick ass!
  2. I'm definitely pro SynSUN. They might not be the best producers ever or write the most exciting and original tunes, but they are solid and they do great remixes. The Omen remix of The Prodigy is fucking sick. They have a great Juno Reactor remix of Komet and they even made a Dickster track entertaining. We Are The World is a fun and enjoyable remix/cover/mash-up of a bunch of Goa classics, and they seem to post a regular stream of bootleg remixes of other tracks, which are generally fun (or at least, not terrible). SynSUN is definitely a worthy project to be in the scene.
  3. damn. $10 for shipping on a CD? lmfao
  4. James Monro and Grant (Darshan) Collins are behind the new Flying Rhino revival
  5. Your moniker leads me to believe you have some bias in this topic...
  6. It'll be included as a free bonus with all Doof t-shirt orders from the DAT Records shop...
  7. I hope you're kidding. Google is NOTORIOUS for dropping products in their stream without warning. Products used by people and businesses. Google has zero attachment to any of their different splinters. I would venture to state that Bandcamp will out last Google Play
  8. This was discussed in another thread a year or two ago. When you buy on Bandcamp, you are paying for the digital download of the release. The online streaming is a free bonus and is not a lifetime guarantee. Some artists and labels leave things up indefinitely, so it can be easy to conflate the two concepts, but always assume that whatever you buy won't be available on the site later. If Bandcamp goes belly up, you should still have the local copy of your purchases. That's on you.
  9. I give Draeke and Team DAT my full support with this. Digital people will have the opportunity to buy it soon. This has been a mystery for a long time and it'll be a great feeling to open up your mail, unpack the vinyl, and put the needle on. This track predates mp3s by a very long measure. Releases should be fun. =)
  10. I'll always love vinyl. Happy to read about the new DATGOA vinyl series. Wish the alt version of the Doof release had a vinyl print too, but at this point I'll settle for a shirt... lololololol I have a horrible tendency of breaking CD cases and other shit. I'm also out of shelf space for CDs and most of my items don't even have disk drives. Heck, the drive on my laptop doesn't read disks anymore and it's a pain. Vinyl, it's for home listening and collecting. Maybe it'll hold its value, maybe it won't. But I'm happier "wasting" money on vinyl than on CDs
  11. I know it's rather cheesy, but I did enjoy the SynSun tribute track "We are the World"
  12. The Mind Rewind comps have a specific finite amount that were allowed to be pressed. Going digital complicates this. It's not too difficult of a concept.
  13. I quit buying CDs a long time ago. I buy vinyl and digital. I like vinyl for home listening and collecting. FLAC for playing out, phone, and car.
  14. always. travel alone. you're more likely to find a group of people to bond with and create a short term group it's harder to forge these weird impermanent relationships with two separate groups be chill and have your own solo experience and you'll make new friends =)
  15. I mean, that's essentially the meaning of life...
  16. Right... Like, while Children isn't the slickest track, nor the more creative, it has an immediately recognizable melody and hit the world in the same era as The Prodigy 'Firestarter' and Orbital 'Insides' (as well as the entire dance music scene in general) was getting a touch of traction over here in the USA. I had already found labels like Matsuri, Dragonfly, Blue Room, and Flying Rhino, but Robert Miles really showcased how large of a net the trance audience could be. I got, and still get, near endless flack thrown my way due to the unabashed love I have for this track, but it's special (and terrible) and I honor it for these reasons.
  17. He was a God I try to play Children every New Years Eve. It's my Auld Lang Syne.
  18. Interesting. I like Space Cat. Didn't really like most of the 20th Anniversary remixes but some were good. The Year of the Cat EP was nice but would like more. More original new music! Stop remixing old stuff!! =)
  19. lololololololol It will be a wonderful entry It will be bigly in length and use only the most best and tremendous words So perfect. Such beautiful entry. :D :D
  20. What do you already have? Do you have an Access Virus? Those were all over tracks in the late 90s and early 2000s.
  21. It's the hippie jam band to drum n bass and hardcore's punk.
  22. Planet Earth II is absolutely fantastic. The History of Comedy is also a good mini-series
