  1. I do! It's great fun. I like how there's still people in the world who say mental problems aren't real and everyone should just man up. God bless them.
  2. My score will be so low.. I'll be denied from the darkpsy school of darkest psy. But shit, I'll give it a shot. If you don't see me post again I'll be crying in the corner.
  3. Despairingly tapping in "Psy-Ko-Logi-Kal" and finding out there was already a DJ in Rotterdam with that name, slamming their fist on the table when they found out there was a clairvoyant impersonator named "Psymon Cowell". :D
  4. Well with this whole Filteria sounds like Pleiadians stuff, well connection there is made no doubt. But I heavily disagree that it sounds like a copycat. Sky Input is some groovy shit that doesn't hold anything back. Pleiadians was a sophisticated evolution of an old sound that ended up having crazy melodies for climaxes. Filteria is about crazy melodies and.. well that's where the connection it ends. Stylistically Sky Input is from another planet. Both great in their own merit, subjectively of course - but to say they sound the same is very narrow-minded. [offtopic rantmode] Radi, you just won the silly post award of eternity. It sounds like a hyperbolic sarcastic joke post but then I realized you are being for real. I can name just one artist that felt more filteria than anything old school and that was old mindsphere, even that being a stretch, all else is kinda like... not filteria-like? Who woulda thought?
  5. From Call Of Goa, track was surprisingly awesome and I never heard of this guy before, also no info anywhere.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KN5LG29_vA
  6. Just one track on MR2 will be enough. Hehehe.
  7. Ehhh. I always found synsun far more agressive and crazy(psychedelic) in its tone to ever really make the connection. Now that I think about it, looking back, most Synsun AP track is Black & White and it feels like Synsun was based on that damn track.. Even with that in mind, most, if not 99% AP tracks held back in many ways compared to what Synsun does, stylistically that is. Still, that connection is just crazy for me. I guess all it takes is one track lol.
  8. Same.. I have no fond memories of gil, just the youtube darkpsy.
  9. Radi, for once I really have to ask for you to explain in-depth how you think the mixing is the worst? That track is literally THE MOST AP track ever released by someone not AP. I do agree the agressive synths are brighter than anything old school AP but that just comes with the year alone. You ain't gonna get soft bright synths with modern production. Listen to AP - One. Come on man, it gonna be like that in 2013. Now I'm gonna agree that it could be better with the mastering, but it's far from the worst contenders. At least it has a low end and a high end lol.
  10. That ain't bad at all. Growly sound like it should be. Bassline isn't too high either.
  11. FUCK YES BABY! SHIT IS GONNA GO DOWN! HELL YEA! I'm serious! I made a thread on compilation artists noting psychaos never had a proper old school album! This is a goddamn dream come true!!!
  12. I hope to god it'll be darker. I love the darker side of him so much more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2lAMf1q228 Gah! These tracks are so much win. No uplifting melodies busting out from the corners or nuthing! Just straight up action! And on that note, I find it amazing how much voyager II grew on me, it feels.. classy? Like etnica/pleiadians classy - There is that otherwordly element they had in the 90s. The melodies creep up so well!
  13. Why hello thar, nhjo.
  14. Goddamn kidding with the mrun timeslot? Fucking hell...
  15. It's just silly how the site says 2013 but I really feel like I've gone back to the 90s.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFYo9B5pycM These melodies are so weird.. somehow gives a feeling of nostalgia(?!) So odd. I love it though.
  17. Exactly why it's so monumental. I can't recall any real story albums, sure you can go over albums and think it has a storyline but it's not as clear as this. Breaking those rules is always risky, but when it pays off, it really does. I'm not too surpsied it was a fun album to make, you can hear it!
  18. Well I think this is better than any of the afromentioned, which all kinda fall in the same line for me.
  19. I wanted to review this but I haven't been really able to. Whole album feels kinda monumental in what it's doing is something not many have. There's a clear as day storyline, within the interludes and the tracks themselves, the atmosphere is spot on and the ride is exhilarating. Fantastic work, I want a sequel to this!
  20. My mini-review First let's put one thing on the table. That cover is awesome. Now on to the music I have selected 3 silly categories and stuck those tracks in as I've pleased. Fantastically: KOB Track is fantastically good. You want groove? You have groove! You want dark menacing atmosphere like Goa doesn't have these days? We got it! You want a sample that kicks off a climax like noones business? KOB got you covered! Too bad KOB is no more! A shame. Khetzal is fantastastically a fantastic comeback, my expectations were surpassed. That dark magic tone with the fast tempo is just a wondrous thing! What a track. Skarma is fantastically like Astral Projection! Don't care if it isn't AP, just someone who can pull this off is an achievement. Oh yeah, it's also an awesome fantastical track. Uth is fantastical. Extremely interesting moments and production! Great work. Pretty goodically: Above Javi & Skooma had some nice unique and tasty melodies! 2:40 my god it sound nice! I really want to hear if there's more of this stuff to be had. E-Mantra remix.. how can I put it? There's really awesome work here, so many details and twists to the original. A TON of layers. It's a refreshing listen for many good reasons but something about it makes it forgettable - Unlike the epic Khetzal remix. The melodies don't do this cold style any favors either. Let's just call it a succesfull experiement? Below Cosmic Dimension was.. nice. Heavy acid is always good but it gets tiresome toward the end, no climax to speak of and the melodies become tedious from 3:50 onwards, it really is a shame for it to end up so predictable after having a strong first half. It's sounds like the producer just gave up and wanted to finish it off. Daimon had a perfect intro but it lacked variety! Man it had everything there, good ideas galore, just ended up lacklustering it's way through all of it. Maybe something to do with the bassline? Bigger, more risk taking twists too were needed. But hey, I like where this is going stylistically. Fillerically (or why are they here?) : Psychic Voyage, eh I feel like I've heard this track a million times! Reminds me of the style in Goa Overdose 2, except in that compilation all the tracks had a personality. I like the idea of it, but the melodies and production just feels lackluster, nothing stands out at all at any point. Mindsphere, well it's not completely bad.. The bassline is distractingly loud and stoic - it puts off from the interesting enough melody work, badly. It's a good compilation! At 10 tracks they've put in darker and lighter tracks, mostly representing above average quality of todays scene - with a couple surprises. It's a good varied package! It's no Temple Of Chaos or Opus Iridium, but it's surely better than the last compilation, Shaltu. So we are on the right track guys!
  21. Finally! http://www.arabesquedistribution.com/index.php?option=com_artistavenue&task=singleCd&id=3143&Itemid=1 Release Date: 2013-07-12 The new Enichkin album "The Ride" presented by Mind Expansion Music is a complete story, sub divided into 7 episodes.
The story touches some fundamental things about the human brain and it is dedicated to the definitive role of choices in the formation of personal reality. When one moves through the curves on this galactic amusement park, Love and Wisdom are the key elements to transform multiple lifetimes on Earth into a magical force. Enichkin and Mind-Expansion Music share this knowledge with you, because they consider it as the ultimate expression of their gratitude to people and forces involved into the spiritual evolution of humankind. We are all One, as quoted by Bill Hicks:"Vibrations in the mind, of one true God whose name is Love".
Due to the psychedelic nature of this album, audience discretion is advised. Hopefully this'll be as good as the last two!
  22. I will end up selling the one's I really don't think are worth keeping and the rest will remain. There's a bunch of CDs I'm unable to even consider letting go.
  23. A little silly how little information you are providing. Any more details you'd like to share?
  24. I'm happy you liked it! And thanks Richpa
