  1. Damn isn't that disappointing - The two KOB tracks being released are tracks from way back.. I guess he ditched that alias. Sigh..
  2. 3 tracks in and this shit is wonderful! The electro sound is quite reminscent of that cheesy industrial sound in the way it sounds but here it's applied in the Juno way that makes it ooze of atmosphere. Guillotine is a rocking tune. This album could very well be the real deal of Juno Comeback. Going back all the way through Gods And Monster to Shango in it's atmospheric movie-scorelike tone but more refined not only in it's danceability but also in it's storytelling. It's very dramatic. A word of advice, don't let the first tracks cheesy melody structure betray you, I feel it's actually a throwback to old school sound purposefully like that. What with the epic space synths and pistolero esque guitars. My god I'm psyched.
  3. Too many questions.. I'm speechless..
  4. Man those samples sound wicked! Ton of atmosphere in a movie ost kind of way.
  5. Nice album! Good old school fullon with razing synths and a lot of sparkly details. Most tracks find a nice balance with repetive 4/4 bassline and groove which isn't always so so on other fullon releases from the era. The little melodies that are there are very good, the atmosphere is there. Some samples are a bit weezy cheesy but overall they don't strip anything. 1st track is a classic in my books, love those razing rattling synths. And the last scifigoapsydowntempo is great!
  6. It's too late, sure but he needs to stop already. The only person he's deceiving is himself, fuck that's sad.
  7. He won't. He won't and he won't. This guy has been doing this exact shit for too long, maybe it's not so obvious for you, but all the others it really is. Honestly I wanna contribute to this situation somehow now.
  8. Don't expect to find much of anything about the artists behind old school covers unless you really wanna go serious lengths about contacting the old label managers or artists of the music and so forth. It's a shame but it is what it is. Today it is easier if you find something cool because it's still recent.
  9. Actually I just noticed that yeah, hes talking about cancer because mars is suffering through it. Honestly that's just too fucking much. What a sad excuse for a human being.
  10. I thought as much. http://sphotos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/528175_521375514575989_103598366_n.jpg There's a little taste of it And Mars that sucks, I hope you get well.
  11. Well you should see this coming miles away ever since the Metapsychical incident(Basically he killed the label for no good reason). I also did see some of those acid driven posts from him (here and elsewhere). It's sad but there's a line that you shouldn't cross and he's done it too many times. Maybe it's a cry for help maybe not.
  12. Damn that pans ice cream remix is old but gold. I take it most of these are quite old?
  13. It would be really nice to have such good friendly love-our-customer business practices more often. These days it just feels like throwing money at a thing and receiving the item like it came from a robotized production line. Not very involving or caring. Then again there's time and money constrictions that make up big part of it being like that, but still - It's the little things.
  14. Ok I've taken the liberty of cleaning trashy posts and reminding you all, yes radi even you, to play nice. Let's remember that this is a psytrance forum and just outright lashing out on it will not net you positive views from fellow forum goers. And as it is a psy forum, we will also have less members suggesting less genres just in general because we serve a niche in the first place, you want another niche you might wanna check out other various sources than just this forum.
  15. I highly dislike digipaks because they will wear over time way too easily. Limited copies though I don't mind since they are nice for the collector souls that treat them well.
  16. Oh cool some initiative being done here! Looking forward to it.
  17. I just finished Breaking Bad Season 4. I'm considering to not watch S05 because I feel like the ending wraps things up so damn well. Amazing series, really.
  18. Great! I love almost all of the tunes that appeared on various 90s compilations.
  19. You hung up on it, I'm using the word as an explonatory term to express a feeling, I guess? How else am I to say this one sounds flat and that one sounds, well, more detailed, richer, colourful, fun, smooth? Oh, I guess I can use those too. Excuse my poor choice of words.
  20. My ears are fine. Just listen to Erta Ale and come back to this. The difference is night and day. Surely there's a matter of opinion, too, but if you wish to tell me Erta Ale and this have no difference? Hah. But if you were referring to technical slumber of music.. you got me there. I go by what I hear, thus I try my best to use wording that connotates with that. Whatever the case is, this could sound much better - and it did, on Erta Alé. I did forget to mention some tracks sound better than others but overall it's just not up to par. I'll dwelve into the music itself on a later date with a review.
  21. No matter how you look at it. Like or dislike CD1; doesn't matter. It's Inner Cyclone remastered. That's a reason enough to just buy it and that's that. Now I could dwelve into CD1 but I must admit, I don't feel like writing something prolonged right now so that'll have to wait.
  22. Safe to say this'll end up a classic, no doubt. Lovely release.
  23. A full reviewnever written by meh? A shame! Joking aside, good album? Hmm, yes. Underrated? Yes, a little. The production is refreshing and some of these melodies are really beautiful. It's a little interesting how he can pull the most dark and warped melodies like in Citrus Circus or Pixelized Sight but also manages to pull out heavenly beautiful melodies like in Poseidon Lullaby. It is also a big thing to note that the underwater feeling is immensely done. Sure you can look at the cover and track names and go by those alone imagining these tracks, but the actual way they represent themselves feel very oceany, even without massively oblivious wet acid sounds all over the place. Not everything is perfect, no, but the great tracks, notably Born Underwater, Aquarius, Mind Blowing, Poseidon Lullaby are just fantastical. Rise Up To The Sun and the ender are good as well. The others are still nice but not as memorable or convincing(Pleiades is basically a remix of Pixelized Sight, but the latter is far better; thus I ignore it.) Don't forget about it.
