  1. Goa: Pleiadians - I.F.O. (although I have to admit Etnica - Live In Athens 1996 is getting closer and closer to that spot...) Psy: Probably Psykovsky - Da Budet beause I'm still impressed by it and it was the first psy/goa cd I ever bought.
  2. Yeah, I was already aware of this release, have it in my wantlist for some time now... Should be getting it asap! Any other releases like this you guys know about? Really nice compilation this, the tracks by Dohm, Already Maged and Farebi Chilebi stand out the most for me.
  3. This blew me away!! What a stunning release! Can anyone recommend me more releases with this kind of trippy/foresty downtempo?
  4. Surely no-one expects you to remember every post in a topic that spans 4 pages.
  5. Damn that last track is something else indeed! Rest of the album is good too, they have done a great job on this one
  6. Point Of No Return! For emotional reasons... Technically speaking probably Life Is...
  7. Good, I'll have to get that one as well then I listen to a lot of psychill/psybient like Ishq, Solar Fields, CBL (and Sync24), Aes Dana (I liked his latest album a lot, very techish), and of course Shpongle although I have to say I've been listening to them a lot less the last two years. Other artists include Globular, Astropilot, the sentimony records compilations, Entheogenic, Androcell/Distant System, System7, etc... My favorite psybient album from the past year is without a doubt Connect.Ohm's 9980... Fantastic!
  8. You make it sound like Goa is a fight to the death. I think it's quite the opposite.
  9. If I had to choose only one it would be Etnica and aliases, simply because to my ears they made Goa sound how it should sound. Regardless, all the other artists mentioned in the poll are favorites of mine and depending on the time and my mood any one of these would be classified as godlike-tier Goa by me ^^
  10. I still don't see it, new goa sounding the same... Take for example an artifact303 and compare him to crossing mind, who gets released by the same label... It sounds so different from another. Now place these next to M-Run and we have yet again another sound entirely. That being said, I think it is highly dependent on the location... On a global scale the goa fans represent a minor fraction of all the subgenres I think with prog, full-on and dark having much bigger fan shares.
  11. Looking very yummy indeed! Great artwork once again too!
  12. This is very sad news... I'm also interested to know what happened... He was one of the most active and fun members on this board, and also on psychedelic.be. I'm going to miss his presence.
  13. Exactly. We don't know for sure if his behavior is caused by drugs. I wont say that it isn't influenced by them either though. I just don't think there is any reason to pay attention to him. Just ignore him, the only damage he does is to himself anyway. I wish you the best of luck and a very rapid recovery Fabien!
  14. Hmmm, I wouldn't call Psykovsky Hi-Tech. Crazy Astronaut and the latest Kindzadza are Hi-Tech psytrance to me ^^ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhUBZRngssA Fits the topic too
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNCm28rIsUE Pretty much Da Budet in it's entirety. I only listen to it once or twice a year, when I'm in that special kind of place mood-wise, but when I'm there this album always blows my socks not only off but also to total oblivion.
  16. I will buy the tickets next week think, hope to meet some of you there!
  17. I agree with all of you! Probably my favourite Israeli artists of all time ^^ Overload, Why?, Shape The Future (oh man that climax gets me every single time), New Kind Of World, Peaceful Relaxation... The list of hits is endless!
  18. So, who of you is going this year?
