  1. Wow that artwork is SICK! Yesterday I pre-ordered Been listening to the free download intro+plastic pretty much non-stop since then.... Talk about a teaser!!! My anticipation is about to explode...
  2. Ordered! I can barely wait for this to arrive, it's going to be huge! Grazie mille Draeke!
  3. Superb flyer/poster Richpa. Really captures the essence of a mixed forest/old-school party!
  4. Here you go, another mixtape by me! This time I ventured much more into newer Goa territory, heavily influenced by two of my favorite labels Cronomi and Suntrip. More info on the set and the tracklist can be found inside the link ^^ have fun and remember: comments are more than welcome! http://www.mixcloud.com/ironsun/a-waking-dream/
  5. I don't listen to much else besides old and new Goa trance. Some ambient/chill/downtempo too and a little forest here and there. Even rarer Dark or Full-On. I also like to party, but not too much, once in a month is quite enough for me. At first I went to parties without knowing anything about the music, which was nice because there were so many good tracks I didn't know One of the better experiences I had concerning the scene was when I was living in Japan. It was a smaller Japanese town where nothing really happened. But I went to one of the local clubs and asked if I could spin some goa. I was allowed to and together with some psy-heads from the neighbourhood we started throwing very small intimate parties at a cozy place every two weeks. I always spun old-school and then we had dark, prog and forest dj's. Made the parties really interesting because we had this kaleidoscopic spectrum of psytrance represented. Once, we had a small gathering in a classic Japanese house from the early 20th century up in the mountains, right in the middle of nowhere. We all spun a set for each-other so everyone could show the rest their view on psytrance. It was fan-tas-tic. I guess the point of this story is the following: no matter where you are, no matter where you go, you can always find some psyheads to share some good times with! @Imba: Yes you little pervy basterd, we had a great time!
  6. I really need to keep recommend this to people who like shpongle, and psychedelic downtempo/dub in general: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/globular-a-self-fulfilling-prophecy It's a free release but really high quality music. You will definitely dig this!

I saw the new Total Recall last week... Visually as well as aurally stunning... Kinda pity the rest was average at best. Watcheable and enjoyable to a certain degree but in the end just not good enough.
  8. It seems to me the problem was solved when e-mantra put you in the credits... Shit happens... If he righted your wrong you might as well do the same and apologize on fb and so on that vimana records isn't that unprofessional after all? Since it seems that e-mantra is worried about the image of the label... I hate to see this being fought out at psynews though.
  9. I still don't get why you want your account to be banned? What does psynews as a community have to do with your problem with richpa? What is the message you are trying to send by wanting your account to be deleted? It is clear that Richpa feels wronged by you in some way. If that is because he misunderstood your email then it seems to me the whole thing is rather easy to solve? Why the drama?
  10. Have you considered what kind of message you send to the community by wanting to have your account deleted over something like an artwork? Why is it so hard to, instead of picking a fight and/or running away just communicate with each other? In a way that both parties understand the other? Isn't this one of the virtues this scene always has held high? And even so, what if the one side refuses to think reasonably.... just be the bigger man! You have nothing to lose after all... We're all in it for the love of the music, are we not? btw... I am not picking any side here since I don't know the entire story.
  11. If I'd only have to pick one I'd probably go for Artifact303's Back To Space as well ^^
  12. The celestial Consciousness track in the video kinda reminds me of their track Astral Dance, which was released for free on this compilation: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/dancing-mavka Maybe it's even the same? Anyway, I think it's in the same vein so I hope you like it!
  13. As far as uptempo is concerned I have seen MFG, Jaia, Jikooha, RA, Antares/Daimon (twice) and Space Elves live... Also seen an old-school djset by Tsuyoshi Suzuki and an Etnica/Pleiadians Old School set by Mauri... Downtempo I have seen Cell, Solar Fields and Asura Live ^^
  14. Ultimate Experience is one of my favorite albums of all time and the fact that they redid the mastering, chucked in some extra unreleased tracks and then gave it away for free is just amazing. Eternal respect to Kris Kylven!
  15. And now back to discussing the music, and not the price! I think it's wonderful and am grateful that I am able to experience this gem in a remastered version. At first I was a bit skeptical because the melodies and overall trackstructure is a bit samey on most of the tracks, but that's compensated by how euphoric yet deep they sound. Great morning stuff!
  16. 25... 30 seems like a scary place now.
  17. The Matrix V For Vendetta The Dark Knight The Empire Strikes Back 2001: A Space Odyssey Donnie Darko Watchmen Cashback Kill Bill The Big Lebowski Sorry, choosing one is like choosing one all time favorite goa track: impossible.
  18. Definitely check REZ, a very psychedelic and techno oriented 'shooter on rails'. Awesome game.
