  1. Oh man that depends so much on the year/era of goa/psy... For classical Goa: 1. UK 2. Israel 3. France DENMARK with a special mention to Japan for being so whacky. EDIT: OW FUCK I FORGOT DENMARK. Ah man, making a top 3 is just impossible... I hereby officially declare that my list is bogus and not to be taken seriously as it can change according to mood/day of the year.
  2. This is my LAST off-topic post in this thread and I apologize to Innerspace that the review thread for his album has turned into the same discussion that's been going on for years now. That's right, people have been saying that neo-goa artists should be more innovative since Filteria's Sky Input. That's what, 8 years now? I think the artists got the message by now. If it's still not innovative enough, maybe they don't care and just make the music they want to make? If they make the music they want to make and you don't like it, don't listen to it! And it's not, I repeat NOT my intention to say that no-one is entitled to their opinion. On the contrary, constructive criticism and especially detailed criticism is something an artist can actually do something with. But don't say that they should be 'more innovative' or that 'it all sounds the same'. It doesn't. And if you think it does, you should listen again, and again, and again, and again. If you do not want to go through that trouble because you think it sounds the same anyway, do.not.listentoit. /RANT OUT OT.: I haven't bought the cd yet (because I can't afford buying too many atm), but I LOVED the track on Shaltu and I really dig the samples too. Definitely going to buy it soon! EDIT: This might seem like I am targeting you Goakhan, but I really am not. I have nothing against you, at all.
  3. I think it's time that people should stop telling new goa artists what to do. Sorry for the off-topic but needed to get this off my chest.
  4. Come on man, they do this voluntarily. Show some respect. This ain't about being up in anyone's arse. This is about recognizing and respecting the work someone puts into a passion-project and being grateful that someone actually does this at all. If you don't agree with me, nobody stops you from starting a poll yourself.
  5. That's claiming someone else's time and is quite rude imo... Do you have any idea how much work and time creating a poll like this takes?
  6. Cerebral Cortex is a fucking A-bomb man.
  7. I wondered if anyone is coming to Fractal Gate Indoor in Belgium next week(31/10/2012)? I live very close to the location, could offer people interested a couch to crash on =) It's a pretty big line-up... Etnica/Pleiadians/Crop CIrcles Old School Set by Maurizio, Asura Live, Antares/Daimon Live in the old school room and Vibe Tribe in the Full-on room...
  8. You should check the definition of monotonous again. I don't think it's a good idea to begin hyping an album before the artist has even begun working on it. From Simon's status update on fb I wouldn't even conclude that he will begin working on it anytime soon or at all. The way some people are talking about this album is a recipe for disappointment. Just wait and see.
  9. Oh f*ck yes technosomy, that GNotR Remix is out of this world!! How about this for sinister/evil: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAbk-2W8ADk But this is nineties goa trance, probably not what you were looking for in the first place... Maybe this is! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPjc91j8PNk
  10. Overal I would say AP, but MFG made some of my absolute favorite tracks ever... Overload, Why? and Shape the Future are really damn good... But then again AP has so much damn good tracks... The rebel in me chose to vote MFG none-the-less
  11. I agree! 2011 is almost as hard to pick only 1 from as 1997 is
  12. That really sucks to hear technosomy fuck all dishonest people! They should be ashamed of themselves... Anyway, just to clear things up...the reply I made earlier in this thread was a joke because I thought manuser's sentence to be funny (with the light...). I have lived in Japan myself and know for a fact the cd prices there are higher than most places. The labels can't do anything about that, as there are a lot of things that are more expensive down there (people earn more too), so complaining about the price is a tad ignorant.
  13. 14. Well, it's on the first page of the 2010 reviews, 5th from the bottom up.
  15. There definitely is a review in the review section.
  16. Yeah, you can really hear it, it's THAT crystal clear. Absolutely amazing job. I'm so glad these tunes will be blasting people's minds once again, this time on a slightly more regular basis
  17. I think I'm going to drool over those samples for the coming days. Beautiful.
  18. Very scandy indeed! Nice track, a bit repetitive but cool acid lines and nice samples (the counter clockwise sample was used bb hux flux as well). 7/10
  19. Maybe you could also check out the newer works of Digicult? They have two albums out on Dacru Records now, both rather well-executed melodic full-on: http://www.discogs.c...release/1281257 http://www.discogs.c...release/3610399
  20. Like I said in the best goa compilation thread, you should really check out goa vibes vol. 2 on TIT. It probably has my favorite line-up on a va ever ^^
