He has some light stuff as well as heavier stuff, but the light stuff is really laid back sunny sunday afternoon goa trance imo. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZOZCdog3D0 The thing you said about I find kind of strange thing to say though. Surely this is very subjective? You see, to me the heavy goa trance a la Pleiadians (just to name a chliche) or Psychaos can be much more psychedelic and deep than for example BPC's crystal, which I think is one of the most beautiful laid back tracks there are. Anyhow, that's just how I feel about it.

    I know quoting yourself is weird, but even though I said "no doubt" back then, I have to come to an entirely different conclusion today. In my opinion, Goa Vibes Vol. 2 is the best Goa Compilation ever. It just perfectly showcases the really big names: MFG, Etnica, Transwave, BPC, X-Dream, MWNN and Astral Projection. And ALL the tracks here are immense classics and some of the best old school Goa has to offer.

    I agree with Rotwang completely, the need to have political messages in psytrance is non-existent. Mainly because the idea of creating some other-worldy ambience just doesn't merge well with adding worldly problems to the equation. That being said, I love conceptual albums a lot and wouldn't mind if the new goa producers would conceptualise a bit more ^^

    Yeah I read about that hype in the blijf jong festival topic on psychedelic.be, but I never imagined it to be this good It's also cool to notice that some russian and slavic Goa in general has that heavier, much more attacking sound which for example Psy-H and Alienapia share but you can also hear in older material like UX and Darshan, which I like a lot. Favorites on Lost In Time are X-Indiane (I think most people agree this to be one of the highlights), Voyage, Mahageon, Galaxy, Saratoga Trip, SImple Machine and DeCompression.

    How unbelievably awesome is Zirrex' music?! I had never heard anything by him before and Lost In Time, which I got three days ago is completely blowing my mind! It has been on constant repeat almost the entire day for three days now. Damn this is sweet Goa. ANybody else who feels the same about this release? 'Cuz I seldom here remarks about ZIrrex when talking about the old-school masters but he definitely belongs up there!
