not for me, this thing please... I just want a plain old unused industry hall with some good speakers and some blacklight and backdrops / installations ... not even with these rotating club lights and annoying flashers... And I'd also prefer DJs that do their job with DISCS and not with laptops ... with a lappy it's too easy to fool audience with a pre-recorded set. I mean, yeah, I'm sure that there are some innovative individuals out there that can take mp3 DJing to a new level and yes, I also have heard good DJ sets already where a laptop was involved ... but I've also seen this type of DJ that presses the button and then does NOTHING.

Heyy, I knew the track That is damn freakin' awesome! The music actually fits their movements! Hilarious! Anybody knows the track name (it's good, me likes)!

Funny ... I could not laugh to that kind of stuff ... Air Song I don't laugh to, it's just a very nice warm song. And World Of Sleepers I can't laugh to, rather I have tears in my eyes to that song... I actually don't laugh to ambient. Laugh I associate with activity, increased heartbeat. Interesting thing. I don't laugh to music when I'm calm or relaxed. I only faintly smile when I'm like that. Probably this has to do with me associating happiness with activity of the body - I am like that. When I'm really active, heart beating, sweat dripping, then I'm always in some happily-driven, accelerated state of mind. And in these states of mind I only listen to upbeat electronic music, if anything. Oh well, except on humppa metal concerts ... Banco De Gaia - Drunk As A Monk ... in the later part. That can make me laugh. I know that, because I listen to it right now, haha

GOA-HEAD My favourite compilation series ... the only one that really got the transformation of this scene right - at least until volume 20. Meanwhile there's already fullon on them, a big disappointment. But until volume 20 Goa-Head was the best compilation series out there for me...

Yes, Tatsu, that disc is SUPERB! Can't believe you gave it away ... well, different strokes for different folks... You should have given that one to me! I had to look for this one for ages to find it at a price I could afford... But ... nice that you like that S-Range one too, Lu Bu I don't regret buying any psy CDs so far. All of them good. Maybe some of them "not that good", but still, I don't regret anything. The only one that did not fit so perfect was Filteria - Sky Input. But that's not because I don't like it, no, never, it's only because it's too intense for me and therefore I can't listen to that one often, I'm very seldom in the mood. But I had some of the most synaesthesic musical experiences ever in my life to this CD! That evens it out

PETER GUN - FRIENDLY FIRE New, still sealed, for 2 Euros! 2 Euros! HA! In Saturn Electronic Market. Went there to buy a lightbulb, saw that they had CD sale! Awesome. Listening to it right now (still, it was over my budget ... I only have 55 cents on my bank account, I lived over my monetary possessions with this one ... spent food money for it ... ah well, I just bought an apple instead of a hamburger and it was evened out, can't let that one go...)

That's from the same painter who did the Ka Sol - Fairytale cover, right?
-
Of course I do What do you think I got all that CRM training for over the last two years?
-
Yes, he is ... although as I had a chat with him last year he didn't come across that shy. Maybe a bit reserved, but he's a cool guy. Answered all the questions I had. I think his shyness has lessened over time (as far as I know you told me you met him years ago)...
-
That brings me on an idea ... how about really hiding secret messages in psy tracks that are heard when the record is played backwards?
-
Why not send it to me instead, oopie?

5 days ago I saw a copy of Classical Mushroom. I didn't buy it. Maybe some kid will buy it at some time and will be disappointed that it's not poppy sound... -

*explodes* Damn, I have 55 Cents on my bank account ... that won't be enough for a plane ticket and the entry, no?

Well, I don't really "meet" artists (you know, for a beer or so ... although I'd really like to go drinking once with some of the guys) ... but mostly when there's somebody international coming here and plays a good set I try to walk up to them later and tell them that their set was good and maybe have a little chat ... that's what I do. Well, at least "try to do", because sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes I really want to go up and ask them something, sometimes I couldn't care less... I can confirm that Human Blue is a very cool guy for example. Also Feuerhake. S-Range too. Atmos is cool too, but he was one of those who were in a hurry to catch their plane. And the Astral Projection guys are cool ones too ... went up to them and Avi hugged me, just because he felt like it obviously, haha... But that's what I really like about this scene, well, in fact about the whole more underground and not well known styles of music: it's a familiar atmosphere on parties and all that, it's possible to walk up to DJs or artists and say hi, they don't hide behind a wall of securitys or iron barriers as it's the case with other, more popular kinds of music. But actually I can understand that. If a "star" would be so open and talk to every fan, he/she wouldn't be able to go to sleep for three days after a gig because so many fans wanna talk, wanna have something signed. In that sense I'm actually very happy that only so "few" people listen to psy...

Some people I know hated psy, hate chill, hate ambient ... they actually hated every kind of electronic music except the trip hop stuff such as Thievery Corporation. Once, as we were all stoned, I put on some Ultimae ambient stuff ... Solar Fields and Aes Dana. Guess what: they loved it! And from now on they respect it ... they don't listen to it, but they repect it for they know that it can be good music in the right situation. So, wait for the right moment. If you just want to break through the wall by just playing psy all the time at your place you may risk that people don't want to come to your house anymore because they don't like the music. That happened to me too already. Now when people come they always tell me: "Please, leave your psytrance and all that synth shit in the drawer, will you?" I do it. It's not fun when I see othery aren't enjoying themselves.
