  2. Hei trippers and trancers, this is a label announcement with news + updates on whats going on within KER. discogs: https://www.discogs.com/label/1393052-Kali-Earth-Records bandcamp: https://kaliearth.bandcamp.com/ Kali Earth was established as a new label on the 28th of December 2017. The first release was on the same night. The release is a single track by Material Music (a talented artist) given to the psytrance event organizer Love&Magic, in 2015. It was only now let loose, just the way it is. A proper Record label, i think we most agree on is a label that publish and release physical formats (CD, Vinyl) as well as the new digital formats like i.e FLAC and Wav. We've chosen a tad unconventional way of starting up the label in these new times. Therefor we use mainly Bandcamp but we will when things are more ready and steady move onto other distributor pages as well to be more accessible to the general wider public. Right now, we only offer a CDr/Files of our debut release (KER001) . And the single is a grower, so expect it to get more tracks added soon.... Our aim is in general great psytrance and chillout music, and we're not afraid of pushing the envelope or to creating a new style on the way. The label name Kali Earth Records is in direct inspiration to the legendary label, Shiva Space Technology (SST). In retrospect, you could say that the world is also too full of bad kali, and hence, Kali Earth Records. We come with much love, and true peace of mind. Boom shanti *

  9. Artist: Barmohak Title: Adrenochrome Label: Timewarp Records Date: July 26, 2019 Tracklist:- 1. Adrenochrome 2. Astral Life 3. Infinite Circle One of Timewarp's rising talents releases his 4th EP on the Label. When I first saw Mamomam Records release the Neogenia EP I was secretly wondering why it wasn't a Barmohak EP mostly due to him standing out the most in production style. Standing out isn't always a good thing, Like a clothed guy on a nude beach, or a nude guy on a clothed beach, a nude guy in a Mcdonalds play land or a Chinese flag waver in Hong Kong, then maybe i'd want to blend in a little better. Luckily if for Barak Steinberger, standing out doesn't have too many downsides in the music industry. His music is louder than most other Timewarp artists with leads that blast at you and weave them selves in and out of melodies. The beginning of Adrenochrome gives you an idea of what I mean. The track is pretty decent, there are moments when you want a reprieve from the onslaught but overall there are more good parts than not. Astral Life gets closer to a pure success with more variation and multiple melodies that find connections with one another throughout the song. All the layers do feel about as loud as each other, if I had to criticise I would say send some stuff to the background to be psychedelic there. A cool fast and wild track nonetheless that any dancefloor could get down to. When we reach Infinite Circle we bounce between extremely enjoyable parts to sections to high pitched melodies (Like 6:00) that don't quite fit as well IMO. The triplets are a cool touch and the last 2 minutes are awesome. A decent EP by an Artist with a lot of potential. I've watched some videos of his parties and the crowd really gets down to the tunes, which is a better test of his music than my opinion. My opinion coming all the same: If some more work went into creating extra depth in each track we would have a real winner, the music is creative, not timid, and full of great moments that never become boring, in fact boring is the last word I would use to describe Barak's music. But throw a little deepness into the mix, bring some of the layers down a notch OOOOHBOY that could be the secret for at home listening pleasure. As far as parties goes, there doesn't seem like much reason to change. https://timewarprecords.bandcamp.com/album/barmohak-adrenochrome-timewarp123-timewarp
  10. I am just curious how and when other people started to hear Goa psy music... how was the way that led you all to this awesome music? How has your music taste changed over the course of your life? Is there even better and more mature music than Goa out there? Is there a next musical step upwards after Goa? Would be very nice if you would dive into your past and write down your approximate age + the music you loved at that time(Style, Bands, DJs...everything!) Youtube links woud be cool to. Maybe one track that describes the phase in your life the best! I will do it for myselfe first ( i am born 1990): START: 3-5 Years: My parents told me that i loved Russian chanson music and a guy called "Oleg Gasmanov" ...i was singing it all the day xD 6 Years: I had a magical experience with Trance music on the family birthday party of my 18 years old cousine...my parents have all the euphoric dance expressions of me on video Tape...yeah It was basically commercial stuff like Paul van dyke...But for a child pure Magic. Fantasy. Wonderland. Space. Insomnia. Madness. I remember this track very well...it sounded very "hard" to me at that time. 7-10 Years: Modern Talking, russian Synthpop, Eurodance. CDs from my parents... My favorite at that time. 10-13 Years: An Italian school Friend gave me a cassette with "Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory" from his older Sister and at this point i became a hardcore Linkin Park fan! I always liked the electronic elements in their music. After Linkin park i changed to the Emo side and my new flame was stuff like: Evanescens, Within Temptation, HIM, Nightwish and...I AM PROUD OF IT OK!!? 14-16 Years: I dont know how but i managed to download a Sven Väth Mix from the Internet. From this point on i Loved stuff like: Extrawelt, Pig&Dan, Boris Brejcha...but at the same time i was also into Progressive House and heard stuff like Deadmau5 or Glen Morrison. All in all this phase could be called Progressive Techno/House. 17-20 Years: Through Youtube i had the first Contact with Fullon and ProgPsy in 2006-07. Astrix, Astral Projection, Audiomatic, U-Recken, Vibe Tribe, Bizzare Contact, Sesto Sento and many more. Man that was a crazy time!!!!!!!!! At first i didnt even knew what goa is...until i bought Goa Head 2 on a flea market. I dont really know how old i was but Astral Projection - Kabbalah blew me away on this day. I remember the moment very well... Since GH2 i could finnaly distinguish between Goa, Psytrance and Progressive. 20-22 Years: Neurofunk, Dark Dubstep... 23-26 Years. GOA. 27-28 Years: Goa but more often the darker side of it...found Twilight Fullon for myselfe. Now: Darkpsy, Dark Ambient, Dark Wave/Synth, Ebm, Industrial, Psychedelic/Space/Doom Rock. so thats basically my musical "curriculum vitae" for now... You are welcome to write yours my friends!

  13. A new set, recorded a few days ago...Enjoy! Youtube Link
  14. A. The story What happens when you invite a dj to listen to your music. You ask him if he likes it enough to make a dj set. We are talking about a dj that played 'trance' music in Goa (India) in both the beginning and mid 90's? So a guy who knows what 'goa trance' is all about What happenend? a) Well, he likes the music a lot b) And he makes a wonderfull set with 100% Cronomi music Big huggs for 'Djamstore Beats'!!! B. The dj says what...?! "I've been invited to make a mix with tracks from Cronomi Records only. It was an honor and it was a pleasure to do so. I am happy to know that there are some labels out there keeping the original Goa Party music alive. Rooted in the old school vibes, Cronomi releases music which is nevertheless fresh and new without just copying the past, but bringing the original vibes back into the present. There is continuity, a clear vision of musical identity and a specific "label-style". I love that. Buy the artist's stuff. They deserve it!" C. The dj set/track list (THX to all the artists who made it happen all over the years) 1. Jikkenteki With 11 - Super Power Mustard, 2. Pandemonium! - A Mad Scientists Night (Subra vs Felis Remix), 3. 16. CODEX offers you an auditory journey to the moon... I MOON 3 Mix : ABLASS Mastering : LUMIRIS (Paris) Release of the CODEX album planned in December 2019
  17. Artist: Blue Hue Title: The Mandala Effect Label: Plateau 5 Records Date: January 1, 2019 Tracklist:- 1. Hitting Bowls 2. Positivictricity 3. Cosmic Interference 4. Mind Modem 5. Methamoprh 6. Mandala Effect 7. Dropping Society Ah summer time, where the sun flows through cities like gold, when cool nights are spent dancing under the ruby leaves while drinking iced tea made by the deities and spinning in our summer trappings. Condensation of diamonds forming on the outside of our glasses in while we were still free from the constraints of existence. I remember it so clearly, a better time. I'm certain. The Mandala Effect I can't tell you why this wasn't released by a bigger label than little old Plateau 5. I can't tell you why I haven't heard people talking about Blue Hue. I can tell why that should change right this second. With incredibly well produced lower ends, Driving rhythms, fun melodies and pretty bloody ripper album artwork if I may say so, The Mandala Effect makes for a worthy listen. Hitting Bowls starts the album off in cool style. the tibetan singing bowl sounds sends pure DMT into your head as it fills the space left by the other layers of the song. The melody floating in for the second half creates great energy and allows us to cruise through track. Positivictricity, go on, be honest with yourself, try and say that in one go. Another cruisy track is filled with soft layers that float around your head while the kickdrums pushes the track to it's final message about just being positive dammit! Cosmic Conference, the cosmos, home to all conferences known to life. Any conference ever had will happen right here, in our cosmos. Super clubby atmospheres and rumbles take this track into hyperdrive. The low end is THICK and fills the track with just enough space for the light high notes to sparkle along. The main lead melody could have been given a bit more emphasis but I aint saying i didn't enjoy it. Mind Modem brings us another big track that really blasts off at that 3:40 point. I was drifting through the first half of the track just having a daze then that break came and brought back to dance land. As Simon Cunninghurst would say 'Pretty dope' Methamorph this must be science for 'Absolute aggressive madness'. My favourite of all the extra clubby tracks. Super hot, I know it's true, no Mandala Effect here, just solid memory of a solid song. The Mandala Effect A longer track suggests to me that blue Hue has more ideas that he is willing to work with. And right I am, the main melody is super cool. Still light, but infectious. Dropping Society is the kind of track that starts and makes you think that you know what sort of song you are going to get. But as soon as the other layers start to seep in you quickly become lost in it's funkiness. Mandala Effect is a very very nice piece of art. The amalgamation of styles and techniques works really well here, resulting in more progressive club type tracks while remaining exciting for their entirety. The melodies are all cool, if not occasionally quiet but that's just the style of the album. this will be my next purchase for sure. It would be great to see more work released from Blue Hue. https://plateau5.bandcamp.com/album/the-mandala-effect
