  1. OK, time to do a proper announcement : First of all, the vinyl release will be of Pleiadians - I.F.O. Live including the original Pleiadians - I.F.O. It will be pressed as a 4LP in a gatefold sleeve which is being finished / prepared by the stellar graphic artist who is Miro Moric, official designer for DAT. Miro also is a musician and I suggest you check out his project, called Psybuddy. At the same time of this pressing there will be an Extra EP made for Etnica - Live in Athens 1996. Do you remember there were some missing tracks on the original 3LP? Well we decided to make an extra EP that could be kept in the same gatefold for who purchased the release or aside. It is mostly directed to who owns the 3LP as in fact on the centre sleeve the sides will be G-H and it will have as cat. number DATLP004-EXTRA. Tracklist coming soon. Then some updates: Virtuart and Friends 2CD will happen as DATCD009, we just made the last agreements and the music and graphic are almost ready, we go to pressing soon, separate thread coming later. Then there is the Morphic Resonance - Trip To The The Stars EP that will also be released and that includes all the stellar Etnica Remixes that Christian has been crafting for over a year now (maybe even more?). Some of you heard these tracks live and the music is just stellar, the old vibe is there and the new versions are breath-taking, and as Mauri of Etnica said: "these are our tracks, as they should sound if made today" . And that is why they gave their blessing and authorised this release. And finally on FB an announcement was made (a bit too early, but this was an idea of the Artists involved) the UX - Master of the Universe EP, 20th anniversary edition, including the original version, an alternate live mix and 2 freshly made remixes by Morphic Resonance and M-Run, both galactic tracks. You may ask if DAT has gone neogoa? NOT really, these are just isolated releases where the tracks are actually old, but freshly remixed. And the M.O.T.U. track is a long time favourite of mine and I have been playing in my dj sets all these versions, proving that they could blend with my sets of pure unreleased of the 90s, as I usually play. The production is of course much better on new tracks but the spirit and sound is there, so that is why I decided to bend a little the rules and views of my label, but not too worry, I do have a long list of real old unreleased from the 90s to release, and I am going through them in order, as planned with my co-workers at DAT and as agreed with the Artists. Happy now ?!
  2. Me too abasio, where is it from? I think you already told us once, but i forgot. Also I thought you were Japanese, shocking discovery.
  3. Awesome cover and lovely album coming, I am so happy about this! Btw, you may want to check how many years he has been producing from, I think he started in 1998
  4. sample sound promising and i am sure it's just a matter of months now, it takes time to get a release out
  5. About vinyl, how you'd like, better 3x100 copies or 4x75 in 4 colors? Just asking... I have already decided about 3 colors, which are pretty cool looking, but I can also hear your preferences. I have seen all sort of colors and beside black that will always be made, I am curious to hear your favs. So, let's hear what you like.
  6. Guys, I am used to ordering from Blood Music and it takes a really long time but they get to you. Give it 30 to 60 days from ordering, at least. One time I had to wait 3 months as the queue was enormous, but he will send you an email when he is actually packing your order and then when it is shipped. They ship once a week only but a massive amount of packs when they do. Edit: I see Thanos already knew the terms of the label, so just hang in there, they will come. About your copies Starkraver, can you take some more photos? Or maybe you'll keep them sealed? I also am curious about the sound quality
  7. Absolutely amazing release. RA never fails to deliver and if you wanted that oriental and magical dreamy touch, it's here. Production is superb and the mastering is really on spot, enhancing every detail, so bravo to RA for composing this masterpiece and to Suntrip for publishing it! I already have ordered my copy, have you?
  8. great track, astral are back at it full power, dreamy tune for sure! Let's hope for a new album soon...
  9. that's techno indeed and there is a hint of a melody but it's very distorted.. no idea
  10. I don't think it's the same guy Starkraver, this one is another Kostas, we have bought his stash of dat tapes years ago, but what he's doing, is really not ok. Please refrain from buying, we have seen the list of what he is selling now and many are fakes/misnamed and the others are in poor quality, many tracks ripped from MD , some mp3 decoded and maybe around 50 real unreleased. We did tell him what was what but he never updated his list. DAT Recs already has all the music, so whatever good it's there, will be released, so don't feed a pirate. Thank You.
  11. I am still waiting for my pink copy from a Belgian collector but i am not sure he shipped it , but thanks for the thought Pat and Thanos!
  12. Wow man, sorry to hear about this, I hope all is ok. Cheers!
  13. Ok, so a little update, we are waiting for the final touches to the artwork of Virtuart, but by the looks of it, it's almost done. A thread will appear soon enough about it. About mastering: the music mastered for live in Athens was then adjusted for the vinyl pressing, but the mastering was not changed much, that I can say. There will be a careful analysis of the music for the vinyl pressing to be sure all is OK, and we won't press something that won't play ok on the turntable, just to be clear. I am also waiting for news from the plant anytime soon, the waiting time has been crazy, but I am preparing the artwork and the music for that release too. About the 2CD of Live in Athens, because the CD was pressed over 80 minutes, in some cd players it created problems, but that's an old story, I have not encountered many who could not play the CD properly and when they tried it on another player it worked.
  14. yes I can share some news afterall Sorry if it took too long, but i was very busy planning for the future. In short times we will put in production 2 huge releases, the 2CD of Virtuart, which is going to be Virtuart & Friends 1 and 2, a double album full of cooperations and awesome goa tracks, very psychedelic and mature, and I can share that most of the copies Olivier sold on cd-r differed one another as he had many mixes for the same track, and thus he compiled them, back in 98-99 with different versions of the tracks. We now did sit and chose the best versions to make it the ultimate real release for all you collectors and avid listeners of the great French sound of Olivier Virtuart. Other than that, I am working on a vinyl, but as soon as I will have a certain release date, i will announce more. I am always cautious because the pressing plant takes forever... I inquired them already in june and I am waiting for my slot.
  15. hell mate, just wondering, the aural connections cdr, don't they have a bandcamp? I was interested in the digital files more than the cdr
  16. I think the release is splenind, sonically speaking it's amazing. I had the source files from the Artist long ago (when the release was supposed to come out) and let me tell you the remastering did a great job on the release. It was also released as flac/mp3 some years ago by Chi-Ad but the quality here sparks energy and clarity. I am very satisfied with it and can recommend it unconditionally. Support the production of CD, only you can make it happen again
  17. @KingGoaConstrictor, I know dude, I am humbly sorry, it was not possible to make them sooner than next month, but I will look into it VERY soon, together with other projects, such as another vinyl... keep tight and b00m!
  18. @happyhorse, are you bashing it only because it is modern? you got to accept modern productions, except neo-goa producers want to have the full on kick and that bass line and that is what is the standard top quality producer use. I for one, if i want to go to a full on party, I like the production to be exactly like Oforia does, super psychedelic lines indeed with top of the genre, actual and modern bass lines/kicks. I don't think there is anything bad in this album and in fact I consider one of the best in the modern full on genre that i have heard so far, bridging perfectly with the past in terms of psychedelicness.
  19. @badboy, the booklet is inside the first panel, next to the cds, was it missing?!
  20. I and some colleagues at DAT think that this is an unreleased of Astral Projection called "I Looked Up". This title is listed on the booklet of Return To The Source VA in a top 10 of Mike Maguire, and fits the era and the style of this one. IF found, will be released, no worries about that, we are already looking for it.
