  1. Hello Antic, I always have some download codes that I purchase from each release I publish there, because I know that I might end up giving away some promotional codes to some DJs and or to some Artists to promote DAT Records, so I purchase packs of 100 codes. So I will have codes to give for the Virtuart release too. It is cheaper than shipping actual records for promotion as in the past labels used to do. If I give you a code it will appear in your collection, however if you just want to purchase it on bandcamp directly feel free to add a 15% to the total, as that is more or less what they will get off the sold price. I somehow try to balance it by adding 1 euro to each cd sold on bandcamp but at the end of the day they always manage to give me less than what I get if a cd is sold on my own store. So I think they actually get some from the shipping price too, which is a bit lame but they also expose my discs to customers I wouldn't be able to reach normally. Hope is clear
  2. @antic604 and all others: files will be released the 23rd of December, both on my website and on bandcamp. As you know DAT doesn't spread files before the actual release date to avoid piracy. We always do it like this. However the release will also be available on bandcamp as it is a popular platform. However it would be better if who knows my website could order from there, as it is better for revenue as bandcamp gets a percentage of the sales. If it is only to have it on your collection there, just ask for a code when ordering on my shop and I will give one after it is published digitally too. But please, if you could, order from www.datrecords.it Orders are open and Thanks All for Your support
  3. OK Virtuart has been shipped from the pressing plant today, so good news!!! I will open pre-orders tomorrow The pressing plant of the vinyls told me to hang on that they are also producing it and studying how to make the very complex production-coloration i have asked to do for 100 of the 300 copies of the Pleiadians 4LP.
  4. OK well this topic seems interesting, but how about one track per genre and maybe include also a category where one can put other electronics? u know stuff like synth-pop/electro/techno/retrowave/synthwave or whatever up your alley instead of just goa and downtempo?
  5. Want to buy this full on CD, if anyone has it, please let me know
  6. Some updates, still waiting for the pressing plant to manifacture the Pleiadians 4LP as you all know with Christmas coming all are very busy, however we managed to start the pressing of Virtuart that should be released for the 23rd of December 2016, as announced in the official thread. Further news include the start of the mastering of Morphic Resonance release, which is more like an album than a single and that will be released in standard jewel case, and that we are looking forward many amazing releases for the 2017. Thanks for keeping it up and pre-orders of Virtuart will start really soon!
  7. last track is very nice, haven't recognized the missing tracks but let's bump this, maybe someone else can help
  8. No idea about the track at 25, but it sounds to me like smth tat can be released as "trance" rather than goa trance, very melodic indeed
  9. woah man, sorry to see all your collection going like this! On the other hand, the buyer got a perfect collection to enjoy, so win win
  10. good luck with the sales, if i recall right you made a giant order from my online shop, maybe it was for you and friends, but i can see u got the etnica promo but music must fly around and some new collector will be happy to get the rare discs!
  11. Not sure what has happened with sample of track 7, i have asked to Arabesque to fix it but i see they did not, maybe it will appear soon.
  12. I believe there was a situation which wasn't very clear. I do understand what SixZeroFour felt, someone stealing his business, but knowing Starkraver, it was not the case but maybe it wasn't too clear. However Starkraver could have sent a message to antic privately to tell him he had some cds to offer and should not call names of people he doesn't know, that is not ok. I think that if someone sees a cd they want, they will buy it from you as they know you are a trusted buyer and have all original discs. I am sorry it's hard to sell the discs, but i know it myself, the market is tight. Over time I am sure you will manage to sell the discs that you don't want anymore I am sorry to see bad vibes between two people I know and respect, so that is why I stepped in.
  13. Samples should be up soon at arabesque, I uploaded the promo pack to them yesterday, we closed the mastering, finally. All is decided and goes to pressing tomorrow. We hope to release for friday 23rd December, if all goes OK http://www.arabesquedistribution.com/index.php?option=com_artistavenue&task=singleCd&id=3683&Itemid=1
  14. Someone should change the topic name, it still says Technological, no wonders Trance2MoveU couldn't find the thread and also features the i with 2 dots. Anyway, I have enjoyed reading the comments written some 15 years ago by psynewers. This album was also a favourite of mine when it came out, for the same exact reason everyone liked it. It resonated with insanity, crazy psychedelic ideas and generally, weird sounds and combinations. Crazy music for crazy people? maybe. In any case, I remember listening a lot to this album when it came out, now not too much but still one gem that defined a particular style of psychedelic trance. This is not Goa, this is proper psychedelic madness. That is a very different thing. If you want to hear easy melodies, go somewhere else, here they are subtle and in the background sometimes, but there. A tad later but that's my review. Enjoy.
  15. indeed awesome music, but i cannot find the bandcamp with encens, could u share a link ?
  16. @Mallenaut, it is possible it will get there, however if you could buy it directly from DAT Records store, or bandcamp or discogs, would be awesome. I have recently found a way to ship cds worldwide cheaper with a flat 5 eur registered price, as they now get shipped from Poland @Psychannel, highly unlikely, as it is just now i am making a second vinyl release.... but you never know, if sales goes extremely well, we can consider this, it's very risky to make vinyls as it costs too much.
  17. I am very happy you are receiving a warm welcome in the world of record production and I think it is truly brave to venture into it, with the love of music you are showing, all will be well, I am sure. You have my support and look forward to owning this great pack for my collection too.. I am very curious to see the solutions you are finding for all your cool ideas
  18. Well here it comes, the newly produced digital album by the Buddhas. 1. The Cupboard - Easy Listening remix 07:50 2. Bodyhit - Light Cycle remix 09:05 3. We See 10:55 4. We Know 10:14 5. Time - Extendend above and beyond to the left of Infinity remix 17:48 6. Time - Ka-SoL remix 07:40 7. Bodyhit - Funky Dead Badger remix 08:59 8. True Hope - Comfy Slippers remix 09:38 1 The album starts off with a storming fast track, which i really like. The melodies are there swirling out and about while the kick has a very cool oldschool feeling, being kept in the basement, and not straight up there in your face bouncing roundly as it often happens in modern productions. The sampled voices are subtle but very enjoyable. A great opener this Cupboard Remix. Not sure why easy listening but maybe it is because it is not a very loud goa track (which is good). The track is clearly psytrance but with a huge retro feeling to it. And also ... what if there is no tomorrow? I agree let's enjoy today. 2 The second track has similar style to the opener and it takes you to a higher level of consciousness with its deep layered patterns and the haunting galloping rhythm. The female voice all of a sudden gives it a magic touch, love it. A killer remix, not much more to be said other than: enjoy it, I sure did. Deep stuff. 3 Track III continues in consistency and goes even deeper, the Buddhas are really making it worth listening, a very enjoyable track, and the ghastly effect going around in circles works perfectly. "We have to see, we have to know" I certainly agree. The samples are used wisely but that ghastly pang inducing effect really works much on me. Watch Out for the mega ending.. Certainly one of the best tracks of the album. 4 This track is in classic Buddhas style, reminding me of their early creations and is a bit slower than the others, at least it feels this way. It starts softly but builds up. The sample sound from the same movie or at least the same voice from the previous track but this time is a little boring, at least until you realize it shifts from "See" to "Know". The track gets much nicer after that and I like the melody in the middle going on in the background + the sampled trumpet part that can be heard subtly. The whole track somehow has a disco feeling to it, so I guess you need to consider it in its own, a mature production but not easily understandable, it needs to grow on you. 5 What do we have here? A Magnus opus remix of almost 18 minutes? That's really cool and not common at all. It starts as such a long track should, in a very minimalist way, just the kick and a few elements. There are swirling sounds slowly appearing and creating a path, there are bees around you and haunting voices, classix forest style and it makes me feel I am walking in the woods while listening to this track, as if i were going on and on, step after step. "Time wouldn't exist?" perhaps. But surprises aren't finished, in the middle something unexpected happens and the track changes style, I feel I am in an Arab or Indian country and the percussion used in this part is really spot on. I might even call it a Shpongle on forest moment, very interesting. You'd need balls to play this at a party but I think it might be a surprising experience for the unaware listeners. The track comes back to its original rhythm as a circle indeed, as our life and time. The track is very experimental but I loved it. Will generate mixed feelings for sure. 6 The Ka-Sol remix of Time is easier to approach, it has very good elements and that classic groove that Ka-Sol always has. This is a killer remix, it has all the elements of the previous track, a toned down version but that would work very well on the dancefloor. The track before this one is mystical and magnificent but I think I’d rather play this one in a set, to make it easier for the listeners. At home though, I'd skip it as it's indeed simpler, so you have 2 remixes on this album but very different one another, excellent choice. 7 Bodyhit (Remix) is a damn sweet track, I really like it! Bouncing, heavy, psychedelic, cool effects. It’s another favourite and has splendid production. I feel there are even owl’s sounds in the background, but maybe it’s just an imaginary sound… 8 The final remix, True Hope, is a mid-tempo track. It starts very atmospheric and continues like a very deep trip, perfect to close this storming album. I have to yet listen the original versions of these tracks but I am pretty pleased with my purchase, 80 minutes of forest mixed with goa vibes all blended together and ready to be played at home or parties, as you see fit. Please support the hard work of the band and get your own legit download here: http://battlebuddhas.bandcamp.com/ as I did
  19. woah thanks Fabien, your photos are killers too! and some shots I have never seen with me. @Richpa, trust me we ageeeed ahahahah , but man what a blast
  20. Yes I was supposed to make this post, but you are right, I forgot and anyway you wrote much more info! I'll post here the link to see my photos from this party ... Enjoy ! http://s103.photobucket.com/user/draeke/library/TWISTED?sort=3&page=1 I also met 303 and Sen0byte (from discogs) I think that both have an account on psynews too but not sure, one from Madrid the other from London, both collectors and great guys! Highlights of the night the mega swirling awesome real live Green Nuns set and the Hallucinogen set, those two blew away everything else, but Tristan had a cool outfit, I'll give that. I don't remember if Total Eclipse set was good, but he was there too. I think the Nuns ex two members never performed anywhere beside this unique event, am I wrong? Dick wasn't even there! The sole big disappointment of the party was that we were promised every set to be recorded in full and later released on the DVD, and If I remember well they probably filmed 15 minutes of the Nuns... that was disappointing, If I had known I would have filmed the set myself. But the party in itself, was awesome.
  21. Hello Taika-Tim, yes he has been making music in recent years, however he has not released much of that. I particularly like also his downtempo/ambient project. Will ask about Sacred Tree Portal @Psychannel, yes it is basically just a promo cd-r he burned in around 100 copies, so no wonder, in my book that was just a promo, and the tracks were never properly released and spread around. Now they will!
