  1. @Mantra, the title of I.Z. EP is Goa Generator, as that is his best track. However, I must specify that only the last 2 titles are EPs, all the others are albums, including Gangguru as they have so many tracks...
  2. Some news regarding DAT Records operations: 1. VA - Mind Rewind³, is finally ready to be ordered. It took quite some time to finalize things because, as usual, we encountered several problems. Some tracks could not be recovered, the pressing plant had issues with the artwork so we had to fix it all several times, but finally it is here. Please order it as soon as you can, either with the button on the DAT web-shop or on discogs through the account DAT Mafia, that is already selling copies of it. The pressing plant has started the manufacturing and we are expecting 1000 pressed copies within a week. The Official release date is announced for the 1st of March. DAT Link: http://www.datrecords.it/dat/mind-rewind/va-mind-rewind-3-dmrcd03.html Discogs Link: https://www.discogs.com/Various-Mind-Rewind³/release/8136678 As usual, Mind Rewind discs won't be available in huge numbers on the DAT website as the operation is ran from Poland and we use separate banks and paypal accounts, as the money for Mind Rewind goes then to charity, but this time I will have some copies for sale on my shop too, maybe of all the volumes. And then direct the money to the mindrewind paypal account. I will ask though that you pay only by paypal on my store if you buy Mind Rewind as it would make it very complex to monitor payments and address the right amounts to the Mind Rewind cause. 2. VA - Analog Trips. The second installment in the Analog series, always focusing on oldschool sound, and that will soon have a thread on his own, but finally, we can say the track-list has been confirmed and all the artists we wanted, are in! Artwork has been finalized and is a cooperative work between me with Shiva Om, the artist who also has done the cover for Analog Dreams but this time we worked much closely and I actively directed and corrected every page of the art. Mastering will begin tomorrow, courtesy of our good friend at Analog Dimension. 3. I will do the Doof t-shirts next, and will try to make maybe others with DAT designs too. Doof first and then maybe DAT shirts this summer, maybe manufacturing them in Asia as i might go there in August for the Full Moon party @ Koh Phangan. 4. I am also working on the following releases: Virtuart, Gangguru, Etnica, K.U.R.O. & Charm, A Nemo Zimmer Tribute, Infinite Zen EP, Genshi & Sora (Japanese projects) EPs and a special proto goa vinyl EP. Not everything will come out this year but this is why I am so busy and all that is boiling here. Hope these news will bring you as much joy as they bring me while creating them in the best possible way I can. Let's progress and continue this nice adventure with your great support. Draeke
  3. I have checked the IFPI code of the version you have, and it comes from VDC Group. The pressing plant Arabesque works with usually. Having in the matrix the distributor names, means he ordered the pressing. But would seem a bit odd that this was done without the label knowledge.
  4. Bumping this one, for you friend. I concur, X-Dream, Etnica and Planet BEN are for sure the tippiest best album ever made. I know these were your beloved and I play them in your memory. see you sometimes up there

    RIP Nemo

I would like to share a few words here. I was in contact with Nemo for a very long time and in the last year we got really close and had a lot of long chats, so I was deeply shocked when the announcement came, but prepared. I was one of the few he shared his situation with and because of that I also tried to be as supportive as I could to a long time virtual friend (unfortunately we have never met) and that I consider as a real friend. However, in this terrible moment I have a little something to say, Nemo hand wrote me an authorization to use all the unreleased music of his label, including the tracks he released only on vinyl and... his own music. Last year, when he knew he had not too much time, he sent me a pack with most of his dat tapes, and together with him we catalogued most of it. He had plans for this year to resurrect his label, but time was not on his side, so he told me ultimately what he wanted to do with the music, and I will try to make it happen, the best way I can. I can't say too much for now as more work was already planned and I am working on many releases already but, I promise a tribute to Nemo, will happen on DAT. This way, we will at least travel within the realms of sound, thinking of our beloved friend. With his label and with his own music (he made some great tracks!) I was really shocked of the announcement even more as I chatted with him on Facebook just a few days before he passed, but I am so glad I could say goodbye and that I know what his will, musically speaking, was. I will give some cachet money to his son, if possible (but I want to be sure it goes to him) or to something that Nemo would have liked, or to a cancer research cause. If anyone is close to his family, and wants to send me a private message on FB to help me out, please do. Draeke
  6. I was not aware of this ridiculous rare disc. What's the story behind it ?
  7. @Quazzi, you should submit these rare albums to discogs. I believe that if they still have these great tracks as you mention, more than one label could release them. If they instead lost the source master files (as i seem to recall from one of the albums with the older material), they should maybe offer the tracks again for download. It is a pity that all that was on mp3.com, for free, is now lost.
  8. True, i find it quite disturbing actually, as non innovative from any point of view. Furthermore, if it is indeed progressive psy, a better cover would be with modern vibes. I like the drawing but i think it has nothing to do with the release and many would be confused expecting oldschool goa maybe... unless it is a market move as everyone seems to go oldschool lately.
  9. Man I am really touched, I don't know if this is something i really deserve but it is very nice of you to think such a thing. Thank You!
  10. I have been asking to the pressing plant for quality controls and checks to the production, those points near the centre are present on 100% of the pressed disc (near the ring) but do NOT affect playing or ripping in any way. If you happened to have other scratches near the end of the disc (outer part of the cd) then you need to write me an EMAIL , not posting here, and I will deal with a replacement of the discs, once you send me back the damaged cd. I so far encounter something like 10 defective sealed copies (from final users) and am gathering all of them to complain to the pressing plant. These manufacturing defect are outside of my control. @Antic, once again, there was NO DISTORTION on any track on CD3, the different mixing of sonic system was conceived like that, the unmastered track also had the kick sounding like that, it was a stylistic choice of Pleiadians when finalized the track. So I offered also the other mix of the track, mastered as well, for free. The problem of the 2 tracks with wrong speed was explained as well. @phusg write me an email please, thank you.
  11. What a lovely collection you have there, the core of the best of goa is all there. Sad to hear about that, but I am sure many would be happy to get these wonderful albums of yours. If you don't manage to sell the releases here, I advise you maybe sell them at parties? I see that it is not difficult to sell at goa parties in belgium Thanks for being a loyal customer of DAT too!
  12. It cannot be Filteria as this track was in circulation in 1997 and I don't think Jannis made music back then. About the possible Transwave track, maybe. It is curious people had it as Deedrah though, at least two people. The track is good indeed but if it cannot get identified, it won't be released or shared publicly. Remember, we do things in the right way: we find out who it is, and if agreed we (DAT) or the artist (bandcamp maybe) release it.
  13. All the files have been sent to the pressing plant, it is happening right now So excited! Probably pre-orders will start on St. Valentine day, but will let you know once we know when they will be delivered. Yay
  14. I really look forward to the album, i am sure it will be great, and oh, the tshirt too!
  15. Yes I forgot to update the thread, Colin placed last finishing touch to the Encens track and we also had to alter artwork. We waited as much as we could until it was finally clear we could not get hold of the master dat tape neither from vincent nor from dick trevor. We tried to rip different copies of the vinyl with different setups but because of a pressing/mastering defect back then the track was in distortion so the vinyl could not be used as a source. But I will eventually release Vincent tracks when we get the dat versions. We could not deliver for Xmas but hey, the release is very important and will be soon out
  16. http://www.datrecords.it/dat/releases/pleiadians-i.f.o.-datcd007.html If you guys haven't got the release through my shop, you might not have had a chance to download the right speeded versions of the 2 tracks on CD3. At the same time Sonic System was mastered again from a different dat tape, which might be the mix used by symbiosis back then, and even if the track is identical the kick was somehow different, hence why some of you claimed the track had the kick in distortion. The mix I used for the 3CD just had a different equalization of the kick and was made by Pleiadians themselves. This one freshly mastered should sound more similar to the vinyl pressed on Symbiosis. The 3 tracks are offered for free and courtesy of DAT to make up for it all. I still thank you for the support and a review thread, would be appreciated, if you have one, UFOrb, please post it, don't be shy
  17. I still haven't got my pack, not sure if this is the right place but I'd love to know if all packs were shipped. I really look forward getting the tshirt Cheers
  18. Looking forward receiving this epic release and the tshirt hopefully you will ship soon all the packs. RespecT! @Joseph the prologue was exclusive for who pre ordered if i remember right
  19. this should be his new facebook https://www.facebook.com/kostas.minrotaspolla disgraceful person. in any case, whenever you are buying from someone you don't know insist you will only pay with paypal, so that if he doesn't ship you can claim the money back. That time the same happened to me here on psynews i had paid with paypal and i could recover my money, but that imbecil ripped off many, i was just lucky i used pp to pay. Oh and if they say they don't have it in greece or russia or other countries, it is just a lie, they cannot have it as they are maybe protested in the bank or similar stuff. Insist they find someone with paypal and you will pay only to them.
  20. Well there is not much to say about the speed of the tracks mentioned, I have offered the right speed version with the digital download. If you are a DJ, however, you can simply play them at +7.7 and -7.7 on your pro dj player and you get the right speed. They can also be used at altered speed pitch in all cases, as they sound good as well. It was not noticed because I focused all my attention to make sure cd1 and cd2 were beyond perfection in terms of sound quality and made sure there were no glitches/dat ripping errors on cd3 either but the speed of these lesser known tracks, eluded all my checks. Think about it as an oldschool mistake, that's all. BTW, the dragonfly pressing had errors in 2 tracks, that passed unnoticed the mastering and quality control when pressed back in 1997. It is possible some mistakes happen here and there.
  21. Bump, anyone knows where Jens is pretty please, i could release tracks if he were to be found..
  22. Yes X-3 is the mega melodic goa track, Dreamtime in comparison is nothing. And yes it was never or any cd or mix. It is the track you linked Mantra604. And of course Alkaloid I know you want as it is basically identical to the Etnica sound of Shadow Dance.... but don't worry I have plans for so many other tracks like these 2... Jungle Walla we have plans for it as well, but if someone could locate Jens, would be much easier, he was a genius and he has a lot of killer unreleaseds that i would like to release, if anyone knows where he is... shoot! Enjoy
