Yes X-3 is the mega melodic goa track, Dreamtime in comparison is nothing. And yes it was never or any cd or mix. It is the track you linked Mantra604. And of course Alkaloid I know you want as it is basically identical to the Etnica sound of Shadow Dance.... but don't worry I have plans for so many other tracks like these 2... Jungle Walla we have plans for it as well, but if someone could locate Jens, would be much easier, he was a genius and he has a lot of killer unreleaseds that i would like to release, if anyone knows where he is... shoot! Hello Everyone! With no further delays it is time to announce the tracklist for Mind Rewind 3. I also want to tell everyone that to wait for a couple of DAT tapes to be found, we had to postpone the release to late January. We did not want to use tracks ripped from vinyl, unless necessary and we could manage to track down all we needed from many different sources. Absolutely breath-taking album, the tracks are very well selected, there is a lot of atmosphere in every track and the recently made ones DO sound like the old times, just perfect, I concur with many of the reviews. My favourites are the opener track, Mariposa live, Make Make and Dancing Shiva but I really like everything on this album. I gave it a preview listen online and I just had to buy it. Great selection of tracks by Jos & Fabien here (or only Joske?). I also very much like the cover, it is oldschool and less fractal/suntrip style, and fits very well the release. Also I suppose it is what the artist wanted. As a final trivia, I had licensed Make Make for the next compilation on DAT but when the guys told me they wanted it for the album, I had to let them have it, it was the right thing to do and the track is perfect in the album. Another galactic release on Suntrip, bravo!

All the CD mentioned were pressed at different pressing plants, so there is not much logic in comparing them. I always change plant, when I find better deals or the ability to produce better results, such as coloured cases, coloured layers, matte booklets or special features such as the digipak. Each release is a single case and should not be compared. The Mind Rewind series in particular is pressed and distributed from Poland. With the first pressing of Mind Rewind 1 we did have some issues and from the second volume we pressed somewhere else. Live in Athens was manufactured by one plant, Crop Circles + Symbiote + Virtuart EPs by another, Analog Dreams, Doof, Opale, Vedama and IFO by yet another plant. CD manufacturing is complex, and you get different results depending on who presses it and how. The same plant can also produce different results, as each time they press a CD settings can be different and finally the system used to play the cd by the user can give a different experience to the listener. Anyway, if you got errors in playback, report to me rather than publically, there can be some isolated cases of defective media, and we can check the situation together, just write me an email if your cd for some reasons doesn't play. I have sent the digital files so that you have files handy for your players to save you time ripping. About Sonic System: as stated above I could not hear any distortion, i have now sent another source mix to mastering anyway, to offer it as a digital download alternative to whoever would want it / doesn't like the version used on the CD.

I take the chance to answer: yes the idea was to make it in the upcoming spring, anyway Doof is timeless isn't it? and 2016 would mark the 20th anniversary from the release of the CD, so it makes sense. Mind Rewind 3 mastering has been done and we look forward announcing it this weekend together with the tracklist and to then send it to pressing next week. I am sure al will be pleased and we aim to the release for Xmas as we did with previous volumes. Thanks for the nice vibes!

@Padmapani : I have checked Sonic System, there are two mixes of the track and they feature a different equalization of the kick, that is why you feel the track sounds different. But the track pressed on the 3CD is not in distortion

I hope you guys all got the email with the new download links (for whoever purchased the cd from my shop on datrecords.it or on discogs.com). I laughed at the copies smelling, more likely the pack maybe? As a matter of fact due to the incredible amount of packs i had to prepare, my mother helped me out a lot, so it is very possible some of her perfume could end up in the packages, although I did not think this could happen . Was fun to read. In other news between the copies I sent to the band, some copies that were given to be sold at Belgian parties and all the orders i got, I am almost sold out of copies here at DAT. Plenty available at the distributor of course and I will have to get a second delivery to have copies to sell in the coming months! But this is beyond my expectations, really, thanks so much guys, almost everyone who has been a customer of DAT in the last years bought a copy of this one! Wohooo!!

Stellar news on Suntrip, I am looking forward all the goodies that will come out and probably will buy another tshirt as i don't want to ruin my super special suntrip hand painted shirt ! The quality on those was stellar, 5 stars! Looking forward also to Toi Doi collaboration and amazing news about Boom 2016, I will really want to be there. Congratulations to Suntrip and Go Belgium!

I will send a replacement file of Vimana soon, I am on a break for this weekend as in milan is holiday for a few days. I will be back to normal working life the day 9 and will send the music to all . I don't have any comments for now on Sonic System but it will be checked. Cheers!

Some releases are not in the shop because they are sold out, DATCD001-003 i don't have any more copies to sell. I am more and more convinced that we finally have reached the solution of this mystery. I have to thank everyone who led me to create some new connections in the Finnish scene and with this energy I am making plans for the future, and rest assured this track will be part of it. A big hello to Sharaku up there in the Sky who might be having a grin about the time we needed to find out which track he played at that party. The joy and happiness that bpm has shown, make me incredibly happy. And to the original poster: I am more and more convinced your memories of it might have been distorted as this one is truly epic.

The people who got it first were the first 30 orders within Europe who were placed day 31st october and 1st november. Those packs were sent day 23rd of November. All the other orders were shipped through the week in order of payment. Who ordered from last Friday will be shipped tomorrow (Monday 30). I followed religiously the numbering of orders, to be fair with everyone, but all should receive the CD this week, i am fairly sure

Hello Mantra604, yes CD2 has been remastered but in a very delicate way, we preserved all the dynamics and fixed some errors too, as there were some pressing errors on the original dragonfly cd pressing, plus a lot of silence at the end of each track, that has been removed as well. The new edition is 101% perfect, to all who listened. Meanwhile:

So after contacting both Timo (Mandalavandalz) and Pepe (Squaremeat) we have a possible lead. Check this unreleased track that came from either of them: So I am asking: was this the lost track of the deleted Japanese video? I need confirmation from others who might have heard the original video back then. I for one think this is 90% the track we look for. It fits the descriptions we had from the whole thread although it just misses a bit the pleiadians vibe to it. But it could be that I remembered the pleiadians part from Mandalavandalz - Irina, the track that was played before the track. Mandalavandalz - Irina can be checked out here: The lost track certainly has a powerful intro, features chants and flutes and has a bit of indian vibe + "orion - the source" style but the original poster UFOrb is not convinced this was the track we look for, as he says that one was more powerful and had the flute line that swirled into the track in a different way / was more hauntng and more goa. I won't influence the audience with a track title as i want the comments to be as pure as possible. In any case I have plans to release this monster tune that I made a video of. If you know the track please don't write its title here yet (to any Finnish member who might recognize this unreleased track) Cheers

Hello Scenery, frankly, there was never a fixed and defined tracklist for the album. However what we know for sure it is that it was indeed a mixture of tracks that by now have almost all been released. I am considering the possibility of such an album for, hmm, 2018. I have too many releases planned ahead on which i am working. But please, be happy of the NOW, so many tunes are being released that makes little sense in my book to speak about things not even announced.

I think this time it is a cd-r pressing maybe? that would be the sole option of 40 copies pressed i guess, but the music is killer and i wanted to support the label and the initiative

So, as a matter of fact, I will probably receive the singles of Vedama and Opale together with IFO from the pressing plant. That is very nice news, but at the same time the people who now already pre-ordered IFO, might say that they wanted to include in their packs the singles too. Well I thought about that and I will allow people, if they want, to buy the extra singles at zero extra shipping cost (if they want only 1 or 2 singles, if you want many we need to negotiate a little extra for the shipping). I think that overall this would please whoever already made an order for IFO who also wants the singles. I will add the singles to the dat shop later tonight and also mail whoever pre-ordered to ask if they want to add the singles to their pack. Oh and some news about mind rewind 3 coming soon as well but on another thread

Starkraver, if anyone did dowload it, is keeping it religiously hidden. Not to mention the video was up for a very short period of time and quickly taken down. I thought it was maybe a request by the band or the dj himself but shortly after he died, so the mystery stayed. I will contact this guy you mention, if it is his tracks, he might shed some light on it, thanks Joske.
