  1. Artist: Merrow Title: Hybridization Label: Self Release Release Date: January 28, 2018 Tracklist:- 1. Hybridization (Lemon head mix) 2. Squid in your plate 3. Buddha's awakening 4. Floating city (Morpheus mix) 5. Xenomorph Prime 6. Cosmic Comics 7. Space Jockey (Speed light mix) A collection of new and old tracks made new again coming at cha. I of course haven't heard any of these before so to Tsotsi they are all new. We are assured plenty of acid and big leads, on that front Merrow delivers big time. The Lemon Head mix of Hybridization doesn't waste any time giving us what is promised, with a thumping kick and wild electro leads being held back until just the right moment before they are released into an explosive climax. one of my favourites on the album and a great way to start. Squid on your Plate comes in hot with more acidic bubbles than the Black Triangle. The main melody soon takes centre stage and throws us into a fit of arm flailing madness as Merrow works his tools. Almost and anthem Squid on your plate does the job and ticks the 'melody stuck in my head' box. Yes We Can Buddhas Awakening is just what you need to stir the great Gautama out of his meditations. Although it would stir the Siddhartha right into another plane of ecstasy. The song explodes at 3 minutes, I love those Astral Projection Enlightened Evolution sounding Vvraaarps. (Of course AP don't own that sound I just don't know what else to describe them as). Another stormer of a track. Morpheus does some work on Floating City not wasting any time with silly intro's. It feels like the track might progress a bit slower than the other but that would be a mistake to assume. the leads build and build into a new melody comes and takes over while the old leads slash away in the back. Pretty epic and a little less conventional (in a good way) than some stuff out there. The song twists and turns right to the end and with every bit being enjoyable. Goa baby. Xenomorph Prime is a mix of Bobo the ape pushing the space buttons to make noises and more of the hectic leads we've had so far. it works well and slays along until it turns itself into one of the most memorable tracks on the album. We get to bounce along to Cosmic Comics (Great song name) nice and early. I'm getting use to knowing what to expect and sure enough another anthem surrounds us. A little less variety than the other songs so far but still plenty to make me smile. Space Jockey comes in with an epic intro to take us home at the speed of light. The kick is not really to my taste but these things generally fall back into the track as leads come in. it take a little longer than normal but finally the tracks other elements come in to keep me engaged. It's probably not the fastest track on the album but it sure feels like it. Everything comes in at such a flurry of epicness that I can't catch a glimpse of what is going on. Entrancing me through the pure speed of the track. Merrow delivers us a hot album of tracks with exactly what he promises. Each track is baked to perfection, crisp on the palette and refreshingly zesty. You could say that the tracks are similar to one another, but you could also say that post modernism has created a world devoid of truth and meaning. You'd be better off saying that American college students can't spot a hammer from a ratchet and simply don't know which tool of philosophy to use for the job at hand. Any whom, Merrow comes in remind us all exactly how epic the anthems of this genre are. The songs don't go for to long and never make your ears tired, instead I find myself always wanting more which the next song always expertly delivers. https://merr0w.bandcamp.com/album/hybridization

  3. I was wondering if people would be willing to buy/pledge towards an Elysium Box Set in the same vein as the previous Digital Reprints releases. That would include his live versions, the EP's and maybe a couple of unreleased. That would be 3 cds with the option of a 4th with downtempo material. For me Kristian is one of the best Goa artists ever and his live versions are mind blowing and long have I been dreaming of having those on a physical format. However I am aware with the issues in his Kickstarter campaign. The big difference is that this one would be run by me, having already secured the Files before starting the project. So my main question I guess is would ppl feel inclined to "punish" him for not delivering (yet) what he promised or would your priority be the music?

  7. Hi dudes, thats my latest track, started as a joke about some stupid story that a friend was involved in, thats why it called that way and thats why it so serious and dark and has those silly vocals , but what I like about it is that for the first time besides the Kick Bass and the Piano every single sound is a sound I created from scratch, it would be nice if you could give a listen :).

  9. Artist: The Maniac Album: Necronomicon II Label: Timewarp Release: 3rd March 2018 Tracks 1 - Throne Of Azathoth 2 - The Crawling Chaos 3 - Worship Of Shub Niggurath Last I heard The Maniac was being just that, creating full length albums on his smartphone, like a Maniac. That's something huh. Well, we have either upgraded our soft and hardware or really tricked out his skill pool on that phone. A darker journey through the nether worldly regions of our planet leave me feeling strangely nice. Throne of Azaroth is absolute madness that I haven't been able to get enough of. His leads swirl and screech, twist and turn more than Zuckerberg trying to get out of accepting responsibility for losing our data. The Crawling Chaos is my 3rd favourite track here with some beautiful melodies. Still dark but not as dark as to whats coming. Worship Of Shub Niggurath The Undertaker Wrestlemania of this EP. This track is hot, the bells the beat the rhythm. Absolute fire from start to finish. The Maniac has stepped it up a bunch and successfully pulled of a dark broody themed EP. The EP is the perfect thing to put on when summoning faeries and demons from the other side. Or just when you wanna dance solo in your basement on top of a Ouija Board. https://timewarprecords.bandcamp.com/album/the-maniac-necronomicon-ii-timewarp078-timewarp

  13. Altar Records is very proud to offer you the latest compositions from Akshan, wrapped up in a Deluxe Digipack with a beautiful design by Aleksandar Zlateski and DJ Zen. Shortly after this album, his landmark album “The Rise of Atlantis” was released. Today, the master is back with another conceptual album! This time we'll dive into the dualism of life, the coexistence of opposite forces and thoughts that drives all forms of life on Earth. The subject is vast and was masterfully designed in a fieriest auditory experience by our dear French artist. "World of Duality" was in the making over 4 years, and again certainly proves that Akshan is way ahead of his pals with his talents, as he crafts us with his own unique beats, ambiances and melodies. This album sweats true maturity and it seems that Akshan became aware of his dual nature, while he began to transcend it and was able to express his feelings through the music. His sound is one of a kind and like a lone angelic knight opening new horizons for us to discover, he amazes us again! PART 1 : Down-tempo 1 - Welcome as You Are (122bpm) 2 - La Conscience de l'Espace (120bpm) 3 - World of Trouble (125bpm) 4 - Time for Change (125bpm) PART 2 : Trance 5 - The Other Side (130bpm) 6 - Underworld (130bpm) 7 - Rebirth (130bpm) 8 - Time is Unity (130bpm) "Duality is an essential feature of the human mind. Our mind makes use of duality to understand the world, to make sense of it. Had our mind not been dual, I don’t think we could ever possibly describe the world around us. There would be no language, no words, no measurements, nothing. The mind is what it is because of duality." credits released March 16, 2018 ♪♫ W&P by Akshan, France. 18. Artist: Fabio Fusco Title: Therapy Label: Spin Twist Records Date: 24 November 2017 Tracklist 1. Be with you 2. Hologramm 3. Therapy 4. Distorted reality 5. Travelling lights 6. I see the future 7. Forget about everything 8. Neelix - People (Fabio Fusco remix) 9. Freakquency 10. Out of control When it comes to progressive clubby trance Fabio Fusco does it best. I've had the pleasure of seeing him and Moon in Melbourne a few years ago, my friends still weren't sold on psy trance, I assured them Fabio & Moon would change their mind. Of course Tsotsi was right. Unlike some prog out there which is made to sound like prog, Fabio uses the same instruments and sounds to make tracks to set the dance floor alight. A dj could play each of these tracks without having to touch the decks once. each act of the song changes quickly enough that you never get bored of a repetitive 128 bar 'dugga dugga'. The breaks come quickly and the builds are just perfect. The album has an atmospheric darkness to it that like everything else in each of the tracks, makes it perfect for a club dance floor. As I said I've seen him perform live and I can tell you that the set was 100% fun from start to finish. Therapy is no different, with the albums title track 'therapy' being my favourite (Beatports too for a short while) 'be with you' 'I see the future' and 'out of control' 'Travelling Lights' coming up close behind. If you like clubs, if even a little bit of you likes prog, or if you like music that sounds like its been spun by a top dj, this album might tickle some part of you. I rate it 5 red bull vodkas. https://www.beatport.com/release/therapy/2154820
  19. Hello! Here is my first Trance concept inspired by Goa and old science-fiction film.
  20. hey folks yeah I had time again for a new trance track with goa/psy influence...enjoy and happy new year 2018 download soon...
  21. so i have a few oldskool tracks which give me a housey feeling, and an automatic dancing mood. i found some excellent tracks on platipus and i'm currently checking seismic records for some progressive trance with house sounds but this tracks seem rather hard to find. even more those which aged well and aren't the typicall 90's progressive trance. so i was hoping if you guys could recommend me some producers or labels related to this kind of sound. bonus points for psy influences but its not the priority. thanks in advance.
  22. Juno Reactor has always been an oddball. While their early albums truly defines the early Goa sound (very 242 inspired), it's not exactly what most people would recognize as Goa Trance today. It's almost more EBM than Trance at times, but that's exactly what made the early pioneers so awesome. They all had their own unique style and sound. Any thoughts?
  23. Would you like to have some synthesizers with that beat? 1joy: (Free Download)
  24. Can someone please help me in identifying the tracks on this mix,
