  2. Hello. It has been a while since I released anything original as Profetia. Guess this weird worldwide situation inspired me as well. I wanted to produce all sounds on this track with my Virus B synth only, but it's multi-mode was bugging oddly, so I had to take Nord Lead 2 aid. Nevertheless, oldschool style production (as it is also mostly mixed with console/analog compression etc) and hope the outcome would sound like the classic goa of late 90's. The mastering was also made in a way of preserving more dynamic range. https://soundcloud.com/profetia/cme https://profetia.bandcamp.com/track/cme
  3. OUT NOW! https://bit.ly/FloralCortex After short break we're back again with another psychedelic Goa trance gem from the northern Europe entitled Floral Cortex. It's a debut album of Frode Ungar, a talented producer and musician from Maan project, which we already introduced on our Dimensional Gateway 5 compilation, back in 2017. The name (Maan) is derived from a special location in the south-west of Norway called Mån, a place where creativity and inspiration evaporates through the very pores of nature. With Floral Cortex, three years after the release of Field Quanta track, Maan is ready to take us on his journey once again, but this time through the deep & foresty atmospheres of biomechanical worlds where artificial creativity exists. As his music progresses, you will feel the connection between the organic and mechanical sounds, the neverending loop which greatly represents the extensive influences and styles found on the Floral Cortex ranging from ritualistic tribal and even norse pagan atmospheres towards more progressive and metalic Goa trance vibes, spiced up with forest and techno influences. Floral Cortex is scheduled to come out on 31st of May 2020 in digital and limited CDr format Pre-order at Bandcamp: https://bit.ly/FloralCortex Artist: Maan Album: Floral Cortex Label: Neogoa Records Release date: 31st May, 2020. Merr0w - Odysseus

Artist: Merr0w Title: Odysseus Label: Global Sect Release: December 12, 2019 Tracklist: 1 - Lost in the Triangle 2 - Lunar Tides 3 - Odysseus 4 - Trippy Jellyfish 5 - Their Own Light 6 - Sea Wolf Howling 7 - Fractal Octopus 8 - Last Breath On Seashore ~ Under the sea, under the Sea, Darling it's better, down where it's wetter Global Sect entered the scene committed to providing rare and focused styles of the Goa trance genre. For most of their existence so far this has been cosmic themed Goa that takes you as far into the depths of space as you can go. I even began to think that this theme would be carried through for eternity. With the release of Merr0w's newest album we see that it is not the theme that matters but that there is a theme. And what better artist to show us this than the guy who really does seem to love all the magic of the deep water myths and kingdoms. Brice Fruyt is all about the sea. Don't believe me? Merrow comes from Gaelic that stands for a Mermaid or a Chimera, so like a water chimera, so like a Taor. Just look at that cover art, that's some straight up cool work, and the merch available along side this release is outstanding too. Life under the water is fantastical, but it's also slow, you can tell from listening to these tracks that a lot of time and attention has been given to them. You can't just whip up a 17 minute track like Trippy Jellyfish, that comes from somewhere special, somewhere deep inside, more mysterious than the unknown depths. Well Lost In The Triangle sure does kick it off nicely. A fine tuned super duper producer type track. Bubbles and mysterious storms of electro goodness rush around you while the maelstrom spins you down into the depths. The melody shoots at you like the stream from a TFL-B54270-Aluminum-Alloy-Water-Jet-Thruster-Pump. Merr0w knows we need a little chill time before we deal with the next onslaught from the depths. You have exactly 3 minutes until the bulging Lunar Tide comes to clear away the wreckage from the first track. At full moon we never stood a chance, the final act of Lunar Tides is like a opening a giant clam to find:- Or This Life under the sea can be lonely, you might take either. Odysseus, King of the island of Ithica, battler of mystical beasts and subject of the gods Wrath, this guy really pissed Poseidon off. Merr0w creates an epic tale that slaps harder than a giant squids tentacular club. Fast and loud, the melody and background noises develop and morph, shift, ebb & flow. A groover that comes at you harder than Charybdis from that damn Vortex. Like the 8 long years spent with Calypso the nymph (The nymphs from the myths not the internet) on the island of Ogygia Triple Jellyfish is here for a long time. Wait. You're telling me Odysseus spent 10 years trying to get home but for 8 of those he was gettin' some on a Mediterranean island? Sounds better than going home to mumma and pappa if you ask me. If those 8 years were anything as good as the 17 minutes and 12 seconds of pure inspiration coming from Triple Jellyfish then I can't blame the guy. Like streams of power coming from the Neptune's magical trident this track blasts you into another dimension. Only ever letting up to shock you with another tsunami of energy Trippy Jellyfish is one heck of a journey that makes hits you by surprise every time you think things might be calming down. A song sung by The Sirens themselves, a lure of symphonies that traps you in a scaly grasp. The sound of Triton's Conch Shell Trumpet begins tooting overhead and now we are in the thick, there is no way to go but right through Their Own Light. A treasure greater than anything found at the depths of the Bermuda, just listen to that damned production quality. Melodies that morph faster than the Agulhas current are just the cherry on top but by no means the whole meal. The howls of a wolf through the trees are horrifying enough, but one from this guy:- No thanks. Good thing nothing but good luck is meant to come from the sighting of this thing. And after the first howls in Sea Wolf Howling that good luck brings itself to you in the form of one of the best Merr0w compositions you have heard. The Akkorokamui shoot their tentacles of raw rusted synths and melody through the darkness and wrap them around your body. This is one monster you don't want to fight but give yourself in to. Maybe the terrifying bastard is benevolent. Urchins, Lobsters, Poseidon and Odysseus all come together for one glorious moment of fractalised unity. Like a storm crafted by Aeolus Fractal Octopus is wild, fast, loud and exciting. it's been 10 long years but the journey has come to an end with one last piece to guide us home, and one Last Breath on Seashore. Merr0w get's to really bring the ocean into this track with enigmatic atmospheres you really do start to feel like you are in a lost world. A beautiful way to finish this adventure of deep sea myths and monsters. ~ I think everyone here will agree that this has got to be Merr0w's best work to date. The theme is carried along completely from start to finish, the melodies are great, the atmospheres are bubbly and deep, the production and composition of sounds dance around one another like sinking treasures. It's Merr0w but unlike you have heard him, perhaps unlike we will hear him again. Well done to Global Sect and Merr0w for this fantastic release, special shout out to Andrei Verner who has nailed the artwork. https://globalsect.bandcamp.com/album/merrow-odysseus

  9. Hey there! My name is Seppe, and I just made my profile here. I've been producing goa trance for 2 years now, and my artist name is Globox. My goal is to make tracks with a more 90's oldschool sound, but I don't know if it always works out that way though :p I like to put a lot of acid in my music, but still keep it very melodic. Recently, I played my very first live-set at a party in Brussels, and now I uploaded it to mixcloud. Most of these tracks were never released online, so tell me what you think (P.S. you can find me on Soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/globoxgoa), but most of my tracks aren't online.)

Now considered to be the very first trance album released, it became the default template and inspiration for an entirely new genre, Psychedelic Trance (otherwise known as Psy Trance), and over the preceding 26 years, it still retains its fresh vibe, relevance and timelessness. Today Psy Trance is bigger and more relevant than ever before! The world has never needed all the different people to come together and dance as much as it does today, so it seems like the right time to continue the Order Odonata tradition once again.” YOUTH, Milwaukee 2019 released December 13, 2019
  13. What's the protocol here? 1998 review section or 2019? When I.F.O came out we considered that a 2015 release. Akashic Dreaming has had a remaster yea? Jaroslov's recent work right? No way this sounded so bad ass in 1998. I suppose we can call it a 2019 release then? Same goes for all of Classic Goa Trax and the rest of the Unreleased Goa Records catalogue? Maybe there is a better place to ask this, but 2 birds with one stone is my kinda shtyle, and you can't block my Shtyle. 'HMMMZZZZEEEEER! There was a compliment in there, so I guess part of that was relevant to the conversation. That compliment was there for a reason, this is super funky and well produced Goa that sounds like it lives in 2019. We not only have two artists that like diving dolphins, but two major labels dedicated to finding unreleased goodies from a time before the present. Akashic Dreaming is a wonderfully titled title. Each track contains elements of pure trance, Dreamy ambient breaks, exciting climaxes and heavy synths that twist and spin with other melodies. Arcania starts off lovely and sweet before giving us the dancing melodies and sweet ambient breaks. the track goes from light to dark and back again just wonderfully, a real spiritual treat. Organic Nova is so far my listened to track. Super funky, and cool. Yes there is a weak lispy melody does come in at 2:30 but gets made up for 30 seconds later. The rest of the track is a big old hoedown with metallic melodies slut dropping it low, Graceful ambient in a wet t-shirt competition, climaxes of firefighting strippers ripping their protective gear off, bass lines fucking in the cubicle, then the whole track pops a molly that hits right as we all thought the fun was over. Powerful final act. System Shock You would think that Dreamchild wouldn't be able to catch me in dreamy breaks as often as he does but that's exactly what happens. This time only a minute into the track and before I knew it I was blasting out of a smooth tumble dryer filled with warm towels into dance land. A complete anthem that gets me again 3 minutes later. The acts are so huge that you just assume it's all over when the drapes of warm towels are gently placed over you. A lull into safety that you want to always be there, but that's not what this crazy life has planned for you. Back into the dance lands we get sent again and again, a system shock. FoxGlove Only a 16 year old bmx rider would have the right word for this track and it would be 'Rusty':- Bruh! A little more low-key and freaky than what i've heard so far and it works. Dreamchild has great range in music but it all feels distinctly him by the sweet treatment that he gives to those breaks and the growing of a track right to the end. It feels like if he didn't have to wrap his tracks up he wouldn't. Digital Mantra is just incredible digital funk and Mantrafuls of fun, the cyber feel and electric melodies all create quite the show. This track would put Michael-Faraday-the-father-of-electronics-as-told-by-Charles-Ludwig into cardiac arrest. The final act really takes the track to another stage and makes sure that you keep flying upwards, you would think I would be use to this by now but every climax comes with a big beautiful surprise. Possibly the best track here but fuck it they are all good. Fractal Amoeba uses its big fat lead to kick the track right off into dimension 6's synthetic world. As melodic layers pile on onto one another, the track beams forward through the higloops and ding-globs that glitter this landscape, like silken mountains of fin-glum. Sweet ambient background noises manage to find their way back into the track giving us beautiful break after beautiful break. Spiritual Flux has the kind of title that I expect crazy stuff to from. The intro is promising and dark, a different direction, a theme, right from the beginning Spiritual Flux is ticking boxes. Boxes getting ticked all over to be honest. Spiritual Flux stays focused and badass to the end with another big moment in the final act, explosions of dark energy that grow into big bad monsters. Manta Ray brings us back to the light. The beautiful midway break lifts me into a state of mind that Mike Tyson must have felt when he realised he could become a legal grower, and then the climax of that break catches me in the face like a left hook from Tyson in 87. Well shit that wraps it up. the 2019 re-release and remaster? of Akashic Dreaming By Dreamchild. What a damn hecking nice experience each one of these tracks gives you. Thanks to Unreleased Goa Records I now know about a badass producer with an infectious shtoyle thanks to this release. I absolutely love (If you cant tell) the attention to the break that isn't just another nice part of his music but a tool that creates all sorts of emotional changes in your psyche, ambient that somehow transports you to another state while building a climax that I personally didn't see coming each time. What a wonder this would be on a dancefloor. I imagine artists don't just give their tracks away to anybody. Suntrip, DAT Records and any else doing this have built a reputation for themselves as the sort of people that can be trusted to preserve and bring forward albums that otherwise may have been lost in time and hazey LSD memories. I don't care what the Russians are saying on Psymusic.ru this is good work. I have another Non album related inappropriately placed question for Unreleased Goa Records, does any one purchase your album from Beatport? How has that site survived so long? I bought my first album from them the other week and couldn't believe the amount of things I found to bitch about during the process. To me Bandcamp has become synonymous with the Goa scene. 17. Hello everyone, this post is to introduce our little new adventure, a sublabel that was born after many years working within the realms of unreleased music. We have received a lot of promos from artist from all the eras and have also actively searched and investigated a lot of projects that were otherwise forgotten. The idea came naturally as an extension to DAT Records and to create a digital sublabel was a necessity as there is a huge interest for the oldschool goa trance and psytrance music in all its forms. With this sub-label in fact, we are trying to promote not just the typical sound that we would promote within the main label but to open wide our horizons and include some styles and genres that we normally have not published. Will it be including modernly produced music? Not yet, as we do have a huge catalogue of releases almost ready to go and it is thanks to the work of the whole team of the Unreleased Goa blog that we have achieved this. But this is the adventure mostly of Vas Cosmogenesis, a precious collaborator who was through in his investigations and relentlessly contacted hundreds of artists in the years to prepare for this launch. I came up with the label name and we started moving early in this year. Now you can listen to the fruit of our hard work and we do hope to get some support and appreciation for all that has been done. We are very happy of the upcoming releases and you'll be surprised, I am sure! 20. Alright you sons of bitches, whats going on here? 2019 the year you went and sold your souls to the devil? Huh do a little trade with The Beast did we? Condemn yourself through wizardry to become yourselves, sonic wizards? Artist: Sykespico Title: Perspective Label: Suntrip Records Release: September 30, 2019 Tracklist:- 1. Great Light 2. Psycho Therapy 3. Trancologica 4. 6EQJE5 5. Concerta 6. Visit Earth (Live Mix) 7. Dance Float 8. Spacestation 9. Persimon Median project? Jaraluca? Xamanist & now Israeli bad bois Matan Levi & Nadav Elhadad who make up Sykespico? You fellas dealing in dark magic? I always knew these Bad motha's were bad. But now they join the team of artists who release albums that are just about damn extraordinary. Am I easily pleased or have the Goa trance artists of the day kicked it up a notch? Do we deserve music like this? Are we living our lives well enough to warrant a gift like this? Relax, because Matan & Nadav seem to think so. Expect Bravado, Gusto, Excess, New Worlds, Raw Tectonics & Volcanoes of Ecstasy. ~ 1. Great Light - Nothing that begins without a boom ends without one. Nothing. Remember that for the rest of this album and use the 2nd half of this track as your first and final reminder. I really did think this track was going to be chill. My word what an exciting track. 2. Psycho therapy - Ok so now we know what to expect and the boys start it off just as beautifully. An instant transportation into a world full of tranquil expectations. I already know the guys for their brilliant compositions in the breaks of their tracks. And Psycho Therapy makes sure I also know them for a great deal of other good things on top of that. 3. Trancologica - Starts trancey as heck. Is that Osho? I don't know what it is but Indian accents and trance, a match made by Brahma. Expect a lot of good trancological karma and extraordinary soundscapes coming your way for this track. 4. 6EQJE5 - I mean are we here to party or what. That's rhetorical, Just fuck. Goddamn. 2:30 is all you need to know you're about to listen to one of the best trance tracks created. 6EQJE5, remember that one if you can, it's for your own good. There's nothing I can say that would be better than listening to this track. 5. Concerta - The bassline of this track got me stoned which makes it hard to think about what to write. I got it! No I lost it. YES! No it's gone. A crazy good track with celestial melodies that warp around every part of your consciousness. 6. Atmospheres painted by RA float in the background of this track and when the kickdrum came in I realized I didn't know it wasn't there. Matan & Navad know how to create cool worlds with sounds, and flounce those skills in your face on Visit Earth (Live Mix). I can't call it a favourite because each track pretty much is at this point. 7. Dance Float - Aaaaah Haha its on baby. Did you all check in on time? Bring your passports? Remember not to bring more than 50ml of liquids that aren't in a ziplocked bag? Leave your aerosols at home? Because this space ship ain't waiting around. Boom fucking Boom man. A speed of light banger that gives and gives and gives. Special surprises for us everywhere. But how the song composes it's finale is the most special, like lightening strikes of energy this song rocks. 8. Like every track so far Spacestation gains momentum along the journey. But Spacestation decides to swing you between calm (By Sykespico's standards) and crazy atmospheres. As soon as you think the calm is winning the crazy spreads its tentacles of psychedelic euphoria open, slowly engrossing every part it's electrified world. 9. Perlimor Star If you didn't already realise the crazy amazing atmospheres that these guys are compelled to create, you'll soon learn (I haven't head stuff like this since listening to Ra!) This could just as well have been an album opener as well as a closer. Beautiful slow trance that grows bigger and bigger. That grooves up and beyond. Did I just get transported to a the beginning of a new beautiful world being created? No... I got transported to a land of soaring energy that dances across the galaxy. But good guess. ~ If we are going to call Constellation by MP a cross between Mindsphere & Astral Projection. And Jaraluca's fits into the category of Psylent Budhi, Morphic Resonance & Pleaidians, which I agree with completely. Well then i'm going to liken this to a love child between Ra, Jannis & yes, Pleaidians...They get around. I think Celestial Intelligence might have christened the little bastard. I don't know what to say. It's just excellent unexpected stuff. Its exciting and energetic and a whole bunch of other nice words. This will surely be my album of year. This might be the best album of trance i've heard. But Sykespico already knew that, didn't they? Time will tell if this album really is as good as I think it is, but so far 8 listens in nothing has changed other than my favorite tracks. Magic https://suntriprecords.bandcamp.com/album/perspective
