  1. ^^^ that party looks awesome (and I claim that even though I can't read the majority of the info on that event page)
  2. lololololol yeah, that is 100% Ring of Fire
  3. Tongue & Groove are definitely much slower in tempo, but I feel they have a similar 303 acid and funky nature going on. Le Sleaze is groovy and their remix of Baby Gravy and their remix of the Green Nuns too The set I heard from them last summer sounded even more acidic and groovy than this stuff too. This definitely isn't a replacement for the Nuns, but if you're into the Nuns acid and funk and would be into a reduced tempo, you might dig =)
  4. But... is the Earth flat or is it spherical?
  5. I'd say that you could probably produce the backbone, or majority, of your tracks through headphones only. I'd probably play the tracks on various systems when out and about to compare them, then definitely hit up someone's place with proper monitors to do your final mixdown and send it to someone to master.
  6. When Texas Faggott go morning Israeli melody, they do it so wonderfully... <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
  7. No idea. The one who mods the 1995 - 2005 Unreleased Goa Trance group on Facebook (or something similar to that. I'm sure I got the name wrong)
  8. I liked it better when you posted weird event posts and ISOs of producers. Please keep doing those... =)
  9. Go to Connection because at least one of the organizers for ZNA is an insufferable twat. lolololololol
  10. it's the only artist on Nano that sounds unique!
  11. Joti Sidhu, Dino Psaras, and the rest of Atomic Records comes to mind. Atomic has been defunct for ages, but a good rabbit hole to go down and out of if you haven't done so yet =)
  12. Run the Jewels 3 is the shit.
  13. I'm really liking Tongue & Groove still
  14. There's already a Green Nuns on Ice album produced by Nunner Matt Coldrick. Not sure we really need a second down tempo re-imaging of GNOTR. As for Satori. That's something Sean put together around 2000/2001 when he was starting his record labels Artifact Records and Process Productions. It was a simple compilation of the 8 released Satori tracks and was called "Classics." I've tried convincing Sean to get his stuff up on Bandcamp for a while, but he just don't seem to want to invest the time into it just yet. I dunno if he'll license to anyone else for release, but maybe. I love the Satori stuff greatly. Definitely some of the first Goa to really hook me back in the day.
  15. Satori does have 8 tracks and Sean had remastered them all for release on a single album. That fell to the wayside though... It's a shame, as the remasters sound wonderful
  16. There's really nothing like The Nuns. That said, I'd recommend Green Oms "Coming Through in Waves" and all of Tongue and Groove's stuff.
  17. I literally hooked up my turntables at the new place last night and plugged them into the receiver this evening. As I slowly go through the stacks of records throughout my place and get them properly shelved and sorted, I'll keep watch for a track like this...
  18. Cosmosis - In Yer Face Part 2 ??
  19. i heard Darshan play a live set last year at Symbiosis and it was fucking AWESOME. It was nothing I was familiar with and I wish he would release it. that said, it was more techno oriented than the first album and you still might not like it. I loved it though...
  20. *cough* *cough* don't forget Doof shirts!!! *cough*
  21. snagged! thank you
  22. Totally. Was a bit misleading in some of the marketing. Speaking of JJ Abrahams, if I haven't already mentioned Fringe (too lazy to check previous pages), I'm gonna go ahead and recommend it again. Fringe is one of the great sci-fi long-form stories to have been made. 100 episodes with a great arc that you can truly find seeds of the last season within the scenes of the first. While I wasn't 100% a fan of each episode, I give that show my full support for scope and execution.
  23. Super 8 was JJ Abrahams love letter to Spielberg, but was not a Spielberg movie directly. =) Season 4 of Sherlock was great. The first episode felt a bit off, but I actually liked the way everything developed and where we're left for the potential final season.
