  1. I use the Iaudio U2. It is a small flash drive player so no batteries needed. You can charge it up by connecting it to the computer via USB. The charge lasts for several hours. I have the 512 MB version but I think you can get 1 GB. The earbuds it comes with are pretty good. It has a lot of features (FM radio, never use it, line in recording, never use it). It comes with software, but I don't use that either, as I just hook it up to the cpu and open music folders. Simple. Lastly, it is very cheap and you don't have to mess with iTunes! Here is the version I have: http://www.cowonamerica.com/products/iaudio/u2/ Mdk
  2. Timecode is one of the best labels around IMHO! Consistent bad assery! Can't wait until their next release. Mdk HIJACK!
  3. Well said Abasio. I was disappointed UNTIL the Jaia track and was floored by the smooth, mellow Jairamji track Temple. That was absolutely outstanding! Mdk
  4. Just picked this one up...what a gem! I started with Acid Killer and it didn't disappoint. Such Power! If Infected did music like this I would still be a fan. Impossible Vortex was ok, but I don't think it aged well. L.S.Dance didn't impress me but Crazy D wasn't bad. Time Bubbles was a juicy treat but didn't hold its promise. Overall, Acid Killer is the only smasher here for me, but I am not upset. After all this was the beginnings of full-on and I think everyone was suffering from a post-goa hangover. Mdk
  5. Yes that would be awesome :clapping: Mdk
  6. This is an awesome goa compilation. So many classics. :posford: Howling at the Moon? Granada? Magnetic Activity? Gift of the Gods? Moonraker (MWNN Remix)? You bet.
  7. Looking forward to this one very much. Love his music. However, I think the cover art needs a total reworking. It looks very "pop-trance", like something a cheesy full-on artist would offer. Not up to Suntrip standards. Mdk
  8. This is exactly what was advertised. The kicks are soft like a down pillow forest and the bass lines are bouncy and crisp. The pads add a lush background. I like the attention to detail where no space is wasted. I could've done without some of the vocal samples as they tend to distract, but overall pretty solid. 7.5/10. Take out the vocals and it shoots to a 9/10. Mdk
  9. Is that a Fizmo? I used to have one of those. Heavy like a battleship. I wish I had gotten deeper into its sound creation. Mdk
  10. No Yabai love? I had forgotten about Goa Gate...great stuff! I can't wait to go through my list! Mdk
  11. It is funky and seems to still have a little bit of that gothic style he is known for, which is cool. I wasn't overly impressed with this however. It's not full of power and to my ears comes off as "light sounding". The sounds give the tracks this weird quality that I cannot get into, almost like if you were listening to an opera in space. Meh, that's why tastes differ I suppose. Mdk
  12. I should be sleeping, but I couldn't turn this off. VERY emotive and well produced. The Son Kite track On Air was full of goodness. Awesome disc! I really think there really should be a chilled out emoticon. Mdk
  13. I guess I will weigh in on this. I'm sure to be in the minority here, but I didn't think this was so spectacular. I think the Merr0w track is the best, but I have heard it before. Good yes, revolutionary not so much. That being said, any label releasing goa is fine by me. Time for another listen, because there is no bad goa, just clogged ears. Mdk
  14. This gets better with each listen. The pad on Insect & Insect Bite is mind altering. Point of no return is a goa anthem in my book. Mdk
  15. I liked it. I think I was a little disappointed because his last effort was such a smash that I raised the bar really high. This album is a different style, as mentioned above, but still worth the price of admission. Tough to top Transformation of Reality. Mdk
  16. I absolutely detested Ka-sol. Just did nothing for me. All the others though were magic. 1. Khetzal - What happened to him? Another album? 2. Filteria- Sky Input 3. Filteria- Heliopolis 4. Ra- 9th 5. Twist Dreams Mdk
  17. I think with any recent Oood release, you have to get deep into it before a judgment can be made. On first couple of listens, it's good but not essential. However with this artist, I am willing to go further down the rabbit hole. Mdk

    Human Blue - Ice

I enjoyed this. I think this is one of the most underrated and under appreciated goa albums out there. Good melodies, driving beats, just not as over the top as Pleiadians. Great ride! Mdk
  19. That is super news! And there are only 3 months left in 08, so hopefully it won't get pushed back. Thinking of a Xmas release? What label? Such great news! :clapping: Mdk
  20. I just saw this on their website, and I am very pleased. This label turns everything it touches to gold and for me it is a blind buy. New Blood II The first New Blood gave us Megatron from sHiFt and The Debt from Tickets. Tracklist: 01 : Oblivion - Principles of Flight 02 : Checkmate - Artifakt vs Lost & Found 03 : Enter the Dojo - Rubix Qube 04 : Freejack - Phyx 05 : Root Complex - Cybernetix 06 : Evil Mistress - Tryambaka 07 : Attack of the Moose - E.M.P 08 : Harpsicheek - Tickets 09 : 40 Days - Pitch Hikers And if that wasn't enough, Tickets has a new album coming out as well! Tickets- Dreaming of Places Sweet! :posford: :clapping: :posford: Mdk
