Lunar Dawn - Kolovrat (Neogoa)
Richpa replied to Richpa's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Thank you man, glad you like it. I tought it would be fun idea to make a promotional poster for album For all people who liked Blessings From Irij track I got good news, well there is another epic-melodic trance tune on the album which I can't stop listening for couple of days and we hope we will have a mixdown ready in upcoming days so we can share it with public. At this moment album is at 85% finished, some tracks needs some changes in arrangement, other are already in phase of mixing and one needs vocals to be recorded. I'm also working on visuals for the album aswell as preparation of texts and lyrics. This thing is going to be huge and it's gonna have special mastering treatment -

I think it's not fair to put all the newschool artists in the same basket of comparations with AP, MWNN, MFG, etc. I think there are artists and producers nowdays who are trying to build their own sound and style aswell. But I agree with you guys that most of the nowdays scene is based on the mentioned acts and it would be interesting to see more diversity. -

I think Radi gave us proper explanation, KoxBox shouldn't be labeled as Goa trance, no matter the fact they were one of the earliest artists in the genre and no matter the fact that Dragon Tales is considered to be one of the few Goa trance album which can be considered as essential. He's got right, it's psytrance and there is no progressive elements in their Goa trance (which are present in Astral Projection and Electric Universe, for example) and it shouldn't be labeled as 'real Goa trance' like Astral Projection and Electric Universe. Now I will remove KoxBox's Dragon Tales from my Goa trance folder and place it into psytrance folder. Thank you Radi! -
Godzilla - big expectations, in the end movie was boring, only last 15-20 minutes are worth seeing, even almighty Walter couldn't save this one. However, it's better than '90s version Transformers 4 - a lot of hate regarding this one, but actually it was fun movie (if you're not expecting some quality dialogues or interesting plot). Dinobots were amazing and Galvatron design was weak. Still don't get why people hate the VFX in this one, IMO visuals were better than it was case in part 2 and 3. Edge Of Tomorrow - Sci-fi version of Groundhog day, but with a lot more action and nice story. I liked the ending and this one for sure is one of the better sci-fi movies in recent years. X-Man: Days Of Future Past - solid sequel and one of the best super-hero scene so far in Marvel universe. Even for a guy who doesn't like X-Man that much, this one was fun.

It's interior design, not architecture.

One artist featured on Goalogique V/A told me that (besides horrible mastering and artwork) they changed the BPM of his track. I mean dude...c'mon you can't do that shit.

I was amazed when I recieved demo from Łukasz and it was interesting (at least to me) to hear some nice blend between hi-tech kinda psytrance and Goa sounds. I'm sure the whole EP will deliver proper sounds to people who are into free goa trance music. Thanks for your comment!

Don't get me wrong, it's not about hairsplitting here, just for the sake of the review and correct information. Maybe it would be better to point out that he's one of the few in his country who is doing Goa trance music, and that deserves to be mentioned, right? I'm sure Sarah Palin wouldn't be happy to read that Alaska is still in Russia or some 'joke' like that

Goasia - Amphibians From Spacedock (SUNCD33)
Richpa replied to Anoebis's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Review: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php/topic/69250-goasia-amphibians-on-spacedock-suntrip-2014/?view=getnewpost -
It’s been 4 years since the last Goasia album ‘Dancing With The Blue Spirit’ was released on Kagdila Records, okay, three if we count the re-release at Dimensional Records. Since than, many Goasia fans had huge expectance for a new record due to the fact that they were able to raise the bar with ‘Dancing With The Blue Spirit’ album. For all people who might be living under rock in last couple of years, Goasia is project between Balint Tihamer & Vladislav Radulovic, releasing melodic Goa trance music for a long time. God, Good Morning Amphibians On Spacedock The New Orient Mental Mutator Dolphins Of Jupiter Promised Land Sundance Orbital Saturation Tetrodotoxin When I received my promotional copy of a new album entitled ‘Amphibians OnSpacedock’ released couple of days ago under Suntrip Records banner, I stated that I feel the the relation between last and this album is like relationship between Terminator and Terminator 2. For sure ‘Amphibians On Spacedock’ can be seen as an upgraded version of it’s predecessor, especially because the formula of a great Goa trance record is present on this one, and the key factors suchas: great production, the sense for storytelling and being able to create memorable moments/tracks can be found on AOS. I don’t want to spoil the fun with this review by analysing and reviewing each track, since many people are awaiting their copies to arrive and to check it in person, but for all people who might be afraid that some things gonna miss here I have to say – you’re wrong. Remember the great morning anthems from the last record such as Terra Incognita’ or ‘Dancing With The Blue Spirit’, on this one the very first track, opener – ‘God, Good Morning’ is in the same league with thoose two tracks, and after hearing it almost on daily basisi in last two weeks, it’s getting even better. Tracks such as ‘Amphibians On Spacedock’, ‘Dolphins Of Jupiter’ and ‘Orbital Saturation’ are the best example of the upgraded sound. The trademark Goasia vibe and feeling is still there but it’s enriched with new interesting and psychedelic sounds and blended perfectly so that you in the end got that feeling that you’re listening to a new record. One great positive shocker on this album was the last track entitled ‘Tetrodotoxin’ which is a representation of more experimental Goasia sound, a less melodic track with nice driving beats and retro-Goa feeling. As I mentioned earlier this album got all the key ingredients and one of them is the sense for storytelling and flow. The only thing that I see as a negative factor on this album is ‘Sundance’ track, which is a great track already released earlier, but the sound is kinda out of the foucs compared to the rest of the album and it feels like it doesn’t belong here, but hey, it’s a great track and I’m sure guys from Goasia wanted to have this one on their new album. Conclusion – Amphibians On Spacedock proved the fact why it’s been one of the most anticipated Goa trance releases in last two years and people who are into melodic Goa trance music should have this album in their collection because it represents the new era of Goasia production. I feel that the most memorable moments on this one were tracks such as ‘Orbital Saturation’, ‘God, Good Morning’, ‘Tetrodotoxin’ and ‘Dolphins/Amphibians’ combo. Goasia demonstrated once more why they’re one of the few who are on the top of the Goa trance pyramid nowdays and without any doubt, with the new record they will gain even more attention from people who might not heard about their work. Let’s not forget that Goasia duo is one of the few who proved that music got no limits, and their work-routine is the best showcase, Kanc (who is living in Croatia) and Balint (who is living in Serbia) are successfully producing music even they’re hounderd of kilometers away from each other. In the end I have to say that mastering of the album is flawless thanks to Tim Schuldt who made a beautiful job.
