  1. I wish they could release a more consistent album sometime. The first 3 tracks are stellar and then it drops off to more mediocre compositions. Might edit this upon further listens but I really can't get past first 3 tracks often.
  2. On second look I've grown fonder of Operation Pulse Live Remix and Navigate Pitch Mix
  3. I'm actually curious what would you guys consider psychedelic tracks that aren't inherently linked to any form of psychedelic genre? Or just trance-inducing, for you. I encounter these occasionally, I'll start off with the latest one.
  4. Haha that's awesome.
  5. Huh, compare the melodies 4:00 onwards in the track to this
  6. Deliverance is pure crack.
  7. Definitely think he could improve on the melodies, they aren't very engaging(Or too simple for my liking), otherwise the groundwork is really solid, good sounds and atmospheres. Lovely cover.
  8. Really enjoyed some moments on this album. I actually like the super eastern melodies like in The Spirit Of The East 3:00 or Magnetic Field 2:36, I just love how it twirls around.
  9. Thanks for the recommendations!
  10. Holy fuck that's good. I just listened to the first track and I'm already in awe. Impeccable groove. Second track even better. Goddamn, I am impressed.
  11. Uptempo: 1: Ovnimoon & Rigel - Omnipresent Technology (Ovnimoon) 2: Shakta - Retroscape (Suntrip) 3: V/A - Flight 604 (Zion604) 4: Cybered - Acid Box (Horns and Hoofs Entertainment) 5: Deviant Electronics - Green Room (Zion604) 6: E-Mantra - Nemesis (Suntrip) 7: Psysutra - Gamma Phoenicis (Cronomi) 8: V/A - Three Om Three (Anjuna) 9: Ephedra - Journey Through My Head (Goa Madness) 10: Astral Projection - Goa Classics Remixed (TIP) Look ma', #1 ain't goa.
  12. A newschool gem.
  13. Sky Input is cosmic as fuck.
  14. All we are psychedelic, guys.
  15. lol so the problem is with our ears? I'm surprised I didn't see this one coming.
  16. I know. It's just that this is basically a 3rd on a series of compilations where the other 2 had CD releases.
  17. Looks great. Kinda bummed it's not a CD release like Gamayun Tale and Dancing Mavka.
  18. Well shit, all of those sound better than the album.
  19. It feels like Infected Mushroom never even existed on psynews to be honest.
  20. CD1 was pretty good. Few of the tracks felt a tad safe and ended up a bit boring. I rather have seen CD1 be filled with those trancy tracks like All Alone and Patience For Heaven and then have CD2 act as the dancefloor mayhem. Interesting to note on CD2 there's a few things that are quite different from the original. Mindrama for example has a whole layer taken out (the kick). Inner Cyclone bassline is also quite different (more emphasis on kick, less full).
  21. Yes exactly. I'm glad I'm not the only one with this. I don't like Cosmic Dimension musically but audio-wise it sounds much superior to Celestial Intelligence and even that isn't all that to me. CI sounds harsh and loud. It makes me wonder because as was mentioned before sometimes Schudt does a great job (i.e. Shakta) and sometimes just bad (Celestial Intelligence) Maybe it's the original mix that's poor? Then again I never heard such inconsistency with OOOD, though I've heard his masters much less. Btw Ephedra was done by MasterDX, who I think is alright.
