You ought to read Toni Aittoniemi's Master Thesis based on the development of goa trance in Finland. In fact, it also states the same thing about Ior Bock being the first goa organiser in Europe (Ray Castle the year after).

I hope you're not confusing with 'Satisfaction' album? I doubt they're selling the digital 'Conception' there?
-
Another one that came in mind is KURO's Conception. I do have to say it's a digital release - but brilliant techno/psy neverthess.

I'm fairly confident in saying that Bypass Unit's Dropz of Obscure Eclipses has no voice samples. http://www.discogs.com/Bypass-Unit-Dropz-Of-Obscure-Eclipses/release/186183 It's a momental album. But I'm afraid your chances for finding a low priced physical copy are slim.

Keep up the good work, T2MU!

So good. Probably my favourite release of 2015, excellent quality throughout. And I do think Suntrip made the right choice with the bonus tracks that didn't make it on the album - they're alright but slightly less exciting than the album material.

Colorbox - Ain't Cronomi Records supposed to re-release the album? That was my impression. Bypass Unit - Writing new tunes (or was it remixing old ones?) so who knows what happens. Personally, give me Etnica's JAUTBL remastered with bonus cd of their 93-95 unreleased material and it's the last thing I'll ever ask. x)

What music are you listening to right now?

@Starkraver He had a lot of material as you know... and lot of it is kind of bland if you ask me (he was a bit of a bulk producer). However, some of his collaboration is pretty decent indeed. Here's a couple good ones: http://www.discogs.com/Alien-Community-Alien-Community/release/99432 http://www.discogs.com/Move-D-Namlook-Move-D-Namlook-XVIII-Sexoid/release/1523696 http://www.discogs.com/Shades-Of-Orion-Shades-Of-Orion/master/90704

I've joined the fun with 'Astral Astray'.
-
I'll join if I can get a working studio setup before the deadline. (It's also possible I'll submit a collab track w/ Intriga that's in the pipeline... )
-
Hah... my own mixes!

He's one of the best. Truly I don't like a lot of new school but he knows the plot.
-
I'm not sure I understood correctly but there's no sync button, not that I've used. You search for the cue point and rewind/forward the next track on the other deck to get them sync - manually.

I just remembered a great "old" finnish goa track Anu might not be aware of? I wish there was more like this.
-
Yes, he's writing new material after I bought him a new harddrive. 1) No I don't and probably will remain so, for now. 2) Ridge Mättöpyörä! Hohoo... it's Mättökiuas. There's a Soundcloud page of mine but not a whole lot material there. Also an album on Ektoplazm.
-
Sure, I see what you mean. And I'm glad a person like you exists here! Maybe it'll sum up to something relevant. About Finnish active goa artists, there are what I can remember: Nebula Meltdown Aavepyörä Intriga Profetia Me (sort of - maybe going to that direction next)
-
Sorry Anu but you're mistaken. Has happened 3 times every august since 2012 (with pure old school goa all night) two of them on a small island in Helsinki and last year on a beach in Helsinki as well. Also, Shakta & Etnica (and Anoebis and Afgin as new school represents) were performing old school sets here recently.
-
Now, nobody's mentioning the epic 1995 track 'Pleiadians', almost reason enough to close this topic. And how about 'Sonic System'? Not bad at all, really glad DAT Records will be publishing these old tracks again in improved sound quality. Tbh, they've got too many good ones to pick, let's say, a top-5. They had such a great level of delivery, that even their more average tracks are enjoyable the least. I do think both IFO & FOL are a bit uneven BUT still consider them classics and think they both carry a couple unmatched, brilliant tracks.

Hi! I made a rmx of this great track about a year ago. Here's the link:

Yes give the guy a bamboo massage bhai.

I just talked to one party organizer here in Finland and he told some people refer it to as "stipe" here, that would imply to need to use of stimulants to enjoy the music.
