  1. This track is huge. Somebody must know something?
  2. Thanks to each one of you. I've updated the youtube titles. I wonder if anyone knows the Koxbox - nn one?
  3. A couple classics have to be omitted as they're not coherent as a whole (IFO for example... I think Alcyone and Electra are easily the best ones on it!) so my list is as follows: Bypass Unit - Dropz Of Obscure Eclipses Cosmosis - Cosmology (more coherent than Synergy althou both are great) Etnica - Live In Athens 96 Hallucinogen - Twisted (as the years go by my appreciation for this album grows. Ahead of everybody in 95!) Electric Universe - One Love Astral Projection - Trust In Trance Texas Faggott - Petoman's Peflett (Remains my suomisaundi favorite for years) Nervasystem - Time Travel Indoor - Progressive Trance (it's a bit simplistic and dated in some perspective, but carries so much soul <3 The best effort composition-wise the Ofer co. ever did in my books) Ra - To Sirius
  4. http://www.mikseri.net/artists/intriga/intriga-a-christmas-song/361452/ You might like these two.
  5. SUN Project - Sexperimental Bamboo Forest - Bamboo Forest Aes Dana - Memory Shell Found in a second hand shop, 1e each... I couldn't resist. x)
  6. I'm the wrong guy to judge this ^ I guess... all I've heard from him has almost the exact monotone bassline, here incorporating some inoffensive goa melodies. Take the "goa" away and it's just another prog track. Pitch it up and it's darkpsy lol... I'm quite frank here with my words and don't want to come out as rude but... it's just that there's no "play" or any kind of interaction or symbiotic nature with bass and melodies. It's the same note bass throughout the track! It's too easy and un-psychedelic for my enlightening process I'm afraid. x) 5/10 Here's an oldie, a bit of progressive as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daAINudWVdE
  7. Whoa Penzo, you've got Ubar Tmar's deput 12". Nice! I don't own a vinyl player but been thinking about buying that one as a decorative piece.
  8. I've received info it's an unreleased tune called Mind Projector - Horse Face (for anyone who's interested...)
  9. Do you know this one? Around 24 minute mark.
  10. Thank you all! Very quick responses, nice. ma83: I don't think it's the same track, this DAT one has more twist to it... maybe a remix thou not impossible.
  11. Thanks Joske! Haha I love that Morphem album, how come I didn't recognize it...
  12. thx. All the rest added today, have a look: https://www.youtube.com/user/ridgestyrme/videos

  15. I listened this one from start to finish and surely it's not a weak release by no means, but feels restrained and doesn't go too far with any ideas. There's no great build-ups or really epic climaxes. Maybe they don't intend anything like that to happen with this music, but you can't escape a comparison to the best forest music out there... and this is not that for me. I enjoyed a few moments but not the release as a whole. A rating of 3,5/5 is justified I reckon.
  16. Here's a great mix by some fellow called DJ Axel: On 72 mins and on there's a great tune I'd really like to identify. Anyone?
  17. My guess both IFO and JAUTBL would come out separately as 2xCDs, the first one containing IFO Live and the other unreleased tracks from the 93-95 period as an extra disc. At least that's what I hope!
  18. +1 Their psy-productions, especially on Classical Mushroom, opened a new territory that nobody before or since has been able to properly emulate.
  19. Guys you're spot on. Should I add - maybe it sounds like an earlier mix of Chemical Trance if truth to be told.
  20. Hi all, was positively surprised when listening to one old school mix on my mp3-player. Heard a track I'm sure is by Etnica but I can't tell the title. I don't think I've heard it before but maybe it has gone under my radar. Here's the mix: If you want to listen Etnica's song right away, click at 1h 18min mark.
  21. A collection of great goa trance from a friend of mine (Intriga), who doesn't want to publish any of it and so this music will remain unreleased and in the hands of 3-4 people. I guess that's underground enough lol.

    Koxbox - The Scanner

Healium wrapped it up quite well I'd say. Koxbox lost something vital with Ian Ion and Peter Candy leaving the group... now, it's not to say this album should be in any way a copy of their early material but what I am saying is that Frank'E alone just doesn't seem to find that special edge where soulful, thoughtful patterns and psychedelia come into one. It's more or less so-so arrangements where he almost pulls it off a couple of times but can't seem to able to build on those moments of good ideas. Half-baked pietrance imo. This is well produced album and better than a lot of full-on, but still miles away from being truly astounding and memorable. 0.02$
  23. Confessions... Yes I'm also a bit bored what do you know... but it's a problem where the roots go to a deeper level, society at large and how we are in this endless consumption loop. Remember those days when internet wasn't there? You bought a cd and would listen it for days. Nowadays we're so separate we don't even listen music together anymore! (parties & drugs, that's another story...) I don't think music in general evokes such energy, or an aura if you will, than before because it's a mirror of our collective constructed reality and that reality is beginning to look really frightening, really right-winged and self-centered. I've noticed there's a huge amount of complaint and even hate talk recently on releases that are actually quite high standard, and happen to think it's partly the social and mental frustration that's causing it.
