  1. I agree with recursion loop. Great production there's hardly two words to say on that. I'm not the biggest progressive fan myself, but can still appreciate a well made track and Mahanada is definitely that. Your track breaths and has that groovy aspect to it that's quite the key element in progressive. I think it's not unfair to say thou, that the track could be a bit more juicy and develop into more drastic measures.
  2. Maybe small variations on percussion? Would give the track some breath and energy. A decent effort nonetheless!
  3. Awesome! I really like your style, hope you find a label soon.
  4. Ignotrancer Go ahead ask me, go ahead ask me if I care! - Alright, alright... do you care Jim? Yeah... yeah, go ahead ask me. - I just asked you. What?... Around 6 minute mark: Do you care Jim? - Who knows!
  5. Good memory. That's how it goes to be honest! Thanks to everyone for the feedback, it was a really long task to finish this album so I'm glad people are enjoying it.
  6. Yes. Maybe I'm 1 in a million? I know it's a good album, I hear the producer tried hard, but it could've been better. Maybe I'm harsh and all, and I could go in extent why I feel like giving it such a grade but why? I definitely feel everyone should enjoy this release if they will, sure! I like his vision with analog machines and all. I'm just an old goa cock forgive me my ramble and bad taste.... x)
  7. 1)The Hux Flux is vinyl-only before this release. I think nobody had thought about this original when the remix of the track was available on cd. 2)It's a dark, 150bpm night track if you ask me but ymmv... I think it also sounds absolutely great but each to their own. Agreed.
  8. Hi LD, yeah as recursion loop stated, you need to contact him via email to get a submit form to begin with...! I did that but had no response at all, so even if Ekto would be my 1st choice as well, I decided bandcamp is perhaps the most wise decision for the moment.
  9. I had my first album on Ekto, but wouldn't get an answer when trying to submit my 2nd one in. I think Basilisk is quite a busy guy, has made some money loss running Ektoplazm too I remember reading, so I guess he's releasing a few releases only here and there. Maybe start with bandcamp and see how things evolve from there?

  11. recursion loop, I remember hearing one of your tunes and it was excellent. Go ahead and use bandcamp, I think it's the easiest solution available at the moment.
  12. Hi Psynews friends! I've decided to release my 2nd album now on Bandcamp. It's unlike the previous album, if you've had a chance to listen 'Shantimatter', focusing mostly on forest psytrance with playful undertones. The last few tracks have a bit of goa edge. A bit of something for everyone... Sab Kuch Milegator - Kauas Aikain Taa 1. Smoke & Mirrors (13:49) 2. Glittering Glow Oscillation Of Delight Dungeon (10:29) 3. Subliminal Upgrade (11:49) 4. Extrapyramidal Twerking On A Pyramid (11:07) 5. Ignotrancer (10:12) 6. The 7th Afterflow Of Son Mikael (10:37) 7. Goat Ranch Prophets - On A Ranch Mission (To Save The Flock) (10:31) Bandcamp: https://sabkuchmilegator.bandcamp.com/album/kauas-aikain-taa Hugs, Ridge
  13. Hello Psynews folk! As the title says, I'd like your expertise to know which labels have a little experimental edge nowadays? Maybe, I'm merely saying maybe, "experimental" is seen as something too non-profitable or non-club friendly hence majority of labels find a small, very strict niche of theirs and pursue releasing "the same catalog" over and over again. That's just my humble observation. An example I'd like to give you - Faerie Dragon Records. Yes, a bit suomi influenced label surely, but they had variety in their releases and that is something I love. And I admit there's a bit of selfish motive here. Now that Ektoplazm has pretty much closed its doors I'd like to find some friendly label myself to co-operate with.
  14. Flying Rhino Records. There's only one FRR ep on it btw (Jungle Trax/Zeta Reticuli). Would be more accurate to say Symbiosis Records eps fill the most of 3 disc.
  15. I can't recall which track it is but released for sure.
  16. Like too many neogoa releases these days, has good production and nothing wrong per se. But I tend to think it lacks excitement, those great jaw-drop moments that makes the difference between a good release and a great one. The best track here is the Jaraluca remix with its devastating bassline and good sounding, well placed elements that he carefully lets to build up into something huge. But the album besides that one exception, didn't do much for me. 3/5 - good, typical release for the sub-genre
  17. Hi my fellow space rangers! I was wondering here, now that we're slowly approaching May, roughly speaking 1/3 of the year has passed and we have 6 (?) separate reviews here for 2016. Now I can't argue that I'd be a prolific reviewer myself, and don't really mean to complain here, but isn't that just a really low figure? Or is there some other psy-reviews site intensely more popular that has just escaped my radar?
  18. It's been ID'd. Draeke was thinking a compilation around it, but it's probably going to take a while to materialize.
  19. The tracklist looks intriguing to say the least! Looking forward.
  20. Took me many years to understand the ring there, it's in fact a chillum from upside angle. (LOL, I didn't have the original and thus didn't check the back cover... )
  21. I will be attending and playing in Solar Systo Festival near St. Petersburg this year, in the beginning of may. Probably that's it.
  22. Thanks! I picked it up. On topic: Doesn't matter! You can do great leads with just about any synth. Your basic Sytrus for FL studio, for example, alone has pretty much endless amount of sounds.
  23. Must've been 11-12 when I first heard proper goa trance. Got full into it at 13 years of age.
