I was exaggerating a little with my question... let's be honest about that. As much as he might not have been an established Goa artist, he was still making the tunes all the way from 1994 (he also has a compilation called Beat Archeology 1996-2002) that much we can be sure of. What aren't the facts? 1) Goa trance had no huge influence on him -> only he knows 100%. Besides "being influenced" could be even a rock band. There doesn't need to be genre-to-genre limitation. 2) The first tunes he released were all progressive -> this is also not correct (although some were, and a few were psytrance/progtrance in betweens, some Goa-ish) like this for example 1998: Ps. Around 2012 the whole term "Goa" or "604" had spread to be used quite freely. Maybe it was just Atmos' idea of what "today's Goa" is for him at that point? The whole discussion is difficult without Tomasz' own contribution.

All the 4 albums have strong tracks (only Astral Files is slightly weaker).... but I do agree with you: T.I.T. is the best

Realised... how? Is there some secret place with such information? Looking Discogs 🧐 -> Trust In Trance / Avg Rating:4.7 / 5 / Ratings:634 Astral Files / Avg Rating:4.34 / 5 / Ratings:457 Dancing Galaxy / Avg Rating:4.59 / 5 / Ratings:634 Another World / Avg Rating:4.52 / 5 / Ratings:608 I hope that clears the... issue. 😆

I feel like the problem is I yearn for NEW stuff but I can't be arsed to find the goods amongst thousands of digital singles/EPs that come out each week. Also in the trend of nobody reviewing nothing - it's difficult to spot the good shit you're supposed to. Do I go back to the "good ol" simply because I know it better? Yeah I do.

So you think he suddenly lands out of nowhere to release Klein Aber Doctor? Like... "let me try to do a tune... oh fuck it became a classic!" Atmos has done music already years before that. A Finnish dj had this tune in his DAT bag already around ~95: There's probably more... just unreleased or lost. EDIT: This tune itself is from 1994.

😄 Your favourite track is completely a work of Antiloop - famous for the club anthem 'In My Mind'. Perhaps should be stated, also, that it's not Goa trance. -
The best goa trance tracks are underrated here
Oopie replied to Radish6404's topic in General Psytrance
Nothing's talked about here. The forum's a relic of the past and whether people were to discuss old school tracks, it happens on social media platforms. -

This is the original track (that you basically refer to in your posts) and above in your post is Antiloop's "radio remix" (if you could call it that). They're obviously so different that calling one a rmx of another is bit of a stretch. Just to make things clear! -
It's been about 10 yrs since I've done remotely similar - I thought it'd be nice little challenge to create a psychill track... Here it is:

Ain't gonna argue with the legend

Hey Odeca, there's obviously plenty of that sound you seek BUT a huge chunk of it is released under techno/trance/progressive labels and could prove to be a bit more challenging to find. I thought these two recorded dj mixes I did eh... 12 years ago? might have something up your alley. The mixing is technically just shit... but this is for educational purposes 😅

One of the very few to do it right constantly. Even the weak tracks would usually be the better ones on compilations.
-
Added again a few rarities like Crop Circles
-
Perhaps not cheesy but... lacks attention to detail. Sounds hastily composed.

Thanks for pointing out. Let's give it a spin...

Updated... more Goa trance cds on the list.

Good track! Wish I could help...

Sab Kuch Milegator - Boxside The Out
Oopie replied to Oopie's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Hey thanks! It's a lot of love I've put into these... like hundreds of hours. It's basically me trying to give stuff to those who like melody, detail and complexity in one. -
