  1. Noooo! So, Chemicus is the one who submitted PsyNina's picture, is actually DJ Chemicus, who is also Thomas Vitali, who runs both PsyTropic Records ánd PsyBuy, who goes under the name of AlieNed at Psynews, trying desperately to get people to buy PsyTropic records off of PsyBuy. I'm quite surprised that Massive - Not an Angel wasn't released at PsyTropic. Right. Very inconspicuous indeed. Btw, wasn't there another topic about this as well?
  2. So far I agree (and so does supergroover).
  3. Edited my first post, since it was supergroover who had posted and not me. Anyway, I disagree, Nemo. I think it sounds like a bad version of Blumenkraft. Nothing interesting at all, unfortunately.
  4. where younger brother went in the right direction, ott seems to have lost the path. at first listen: unoriginal boring more of the same sample cd stuff which is as dull as his first cd was interesting. went from to buy list inmediately to the dustbin... Opinions? [edit] this was supergroover posting, not me. I think he didn't loose the path, but rather kept on heading in the same direction, while I feel that it is time for a change. There are vocals in almost every single track, and they're exactly the kind of sample-cd vocals that turned me off in psychill. Boring, unimaginative and cheesy, and last but not least, done a few hundred times before. Mind you, I've downloaded and listened to it twice now, but haven't been able to find anything spectacular yet. The tracks even annoyed me, and I'm a big fan of Ott.
  5. Doesn't shit always stink?
  6. 1. Ott - Blumenkraft 2. Shpongle - Are You Shpongled? 3. Younger Brother - A Flock of Bleeps 4. Ott - Hallucinogen in Dub 5. Younger Brother - Last Days of Gravity In quite random order... these are mainly the cds I've listened to most, not counting Backroom Beats albums.
  7. I really have no idea what tracks made me love electronic music for the first time, but I imagine it has to have been something like Underworld or The Prodigy... but to be honest, I really don't know. I used to be into hiphop a lot, and well, hiphop really does count as electronic music, but somehow I think it's not really what you're after. Damn. Hard one, this.
  8. Hey! I played The KLF for you when you were in Amsterdam, and you had no idea... baaaaaaaad boy.
  9. AFX - Hangable Auto Bulb
  10. But not as groovy as yours.
  11. Pete Namlook - Machine Atoms Hyponitiiiiizing
  12. Only answer possible. You crack me up, Pavel.
  13. Well, that is a bit of the point as well, isn't it? And for me, it's part of the attraction.
  14. Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child
  15. Oh well, there's plenty of people that do like Shulman, but I never understood his music. It's what towelie said, it sounds too 'made up' to me, like there's no feeling behind it. It never hits any spot with me, but I can at least say that it's well produced.
  16. pedrop sent me Don Peyote - Between Worlds Zer0 0ne - oz0ne VA - Chasing the Third
  17. Hey, this is pretty cool. Lo-fi-ness to the max! It's so wrong at moments, but it never crosses the line of cheesiness, which I think is quite an accomplishment. I also really dig the 8bit-ish sounds. Reminds me a lot of something, but I can't find the name... And I agree about the nostalgic feeling, it really has that idmbient nostalgia. And I agree with Symph about the sound quality, it's quite good as it is. I dig this! [e]Pretty cool doesn't mean just ok, I really think this is a good track, and releasable also.
  18. + 3.14 I always have the same feeling as Towelie when listening to Shulman. It sounds too conjured up.
  19. supergroover: just bought a oxygen 8.. wonder what if it will work without hassle. i ll let you guys know! =)
  20. What kinda muzik issit? Like the cover!
  21. It totally reflects the album, cause the music sucks as well. All IMO ofcorso.
  22. Psytrance only? My first reaction to the topic titel was FSOL - Lifeforms, and FSOL - Dead Cities, but I'll have to rethink that, cause I'm sure I can come up with some others.
  23. Hahaha, I can still see the humor in that... au contraire to a lot of those other 'horrible' covers.
  24. What he said. That act really, really sucked on so many dimensions of arse.
  25. Yeah me too. Twisted suck.
