I love you.
-
No, screw sendspace, I uploaded it to the server of a friend of mine... some people reported downloading it with 3 mb/s so I'd say it's better than sendspace.
-
But that doesn't mean you need to open a new topic for it, does it? Personally, I'd love to see all recommendations in one big topic... now it's all scattered; 20 topics with 5 replies < 1 topic with tons of replies and recommendations. The thing is: all these topics are the same and so are most recommendations.

Nice catch, Droso. Kettel and Secede are really nice, but I don't get the Yagya album... every time I try listening to it, I think it's boring really quickly... Sending Orbs' artwork is the shit tho'! Didn't anyone else think it was cool I got Fahrenheit Project volume 1 and 2, original print, new? Thanks to whoever posted that the InSpiral shop still had some OOP Ultimae cd's for sale... Cool beans. (:

Jesus, that's like an octuple post or something (didn't count them all... the server is being teh sucky!)

Oh no! Not another "best Chillout" topic! UTFSE!!!!

-
Thanks! I'm really curious what you (and anybody else) thinks... I ain't posting this for nuttin'. Comments and criticisms are always welcome, just don't be too harsh, hehe.

VA - Fahrenheit Project part one VA - Fahrenheit Project part two Rumpistol - Rumpistol

You're more concerned about that than about the fact that 11 people voted 'Celine'?
-
Yes, yes. Or: no, no. Well, it's one of those - or both of those - but anyway, that's not entirely the point. The point is that there's a new mix of mine available for download. I don't think I've ever put it on psynews before, but there has to be a first time for everything, right? Ok, I know, there doesn't have to be a first time for everything, strictly taken, but if we're talking about good things (which I hope we are) I think that in this case first times shouldn't be postponed any longer. So without any further, errm, ado, I'd like to present you Snapinho ~ Disorient Express. From straight up blip, chip and click hop to micro, mini, midi and macro house. From drillbient to loungecore and from dubsurdisms to the crème de la crèmebient... Close your eyes (or don't); take a deep, deep breath and be submerged in the Pacifistic Ocean. Ride a soundwave, untense your muscles and open those dusty windows in your mind. Let a gush of fresh air blow through your grey mass and realize that not all is black or white (in fact, some of it is green, yellow, red, blue, violet, orange, brown and pink). Tracks: 01 the rip-off artist - what kind of blue 02 autechre - melve 03 brothomstates - mdrmx 04 cheju - ergl 05 the orb - we're pasty to be grill you 06 the future sound of london - rotation 07 electrypnose - neverending story 08 scorb - the aquarium 09 aphex twin - logon rock witch 10 dean martin - sway (rip-off artist remix) 11 monolake - alpenrausch 12 mindless drug hoover - the reefer song 13 luke vibert & bj cole - nice cave 14 jega - geometry 15 nobukazu takemura - let my fish loose (aphex twin remix) 16 wishmountain - royal wedding 17 the coconut monkeyrocket - square beer

Gregory Isaacsm - Night Nurse (Kruder & Dorfmeister Session) Excellent remix. Proper stoned-ass dub! Lovely. -
I just checked out Rumpistol's first album, and I really like it. Good stuff.
-
Ok, so it's a year old and I have no clue about the music itself (was searching for Rumpistol's first album and this was released on his record label) but it's a good cover nonetheless!

It gets worse than that. Don't remember exactly which cd it was (am sure someone on psynews knows) but they used a metal box, including a metal cd holder. The problem was, if the box got hot (you know, temperature changes) the metal expanded and shrunk, and as it expanded, it shattered the cd it was holding. Too much pressure from the inside hole in the cd, and whoops, your whole cd is broken into tiny pieces. That's what I call a bad idea.

why am I the only person here who listens oldschool psytrance?
Snapinho replied to radi6404's topic in General Psytrance
Oh, the irony... Rrrrrrrrrrrrright. Who are you kidding? Oh, Towelie, that pic fucking cranked me up. What the fuck! -
Second one! Haven't heard the Evan B. album yet, but I can say that the new CBL is really really good. Get it already!
-
Ah yeah, good point, I edited the Mad P. vs MA album in my list. It would be unfair to mention Lee Perry, King Tubby, Augustus Pablo and not Mad Professor.
-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dub_music For DUB dub, I suggest you check out the following artists. Zenzile High Tone Alpha & Omega Kaly Live Dub Dub Syndicate Lee "Scratch" Perry (although... maybe too reggae-ish) Augustus Pablo (Roots Dub!) King Tubby (Roots Dub! ) Adrian Sherwood! Subsurfing - Frozen Ants (psy-dub, old stuff, but still psych-o-delicious) VA - Sub Signals (recent compilation, very heavy stoned dub stuff) Stress Assassin (very minimal dubby) Pole (also very minimal, but more glitchy, krrr chck chck kinda dub. Still very good!) Mad Professor vs. Massive Attack - No Protection Have a look down here, haven't checked it out completely, but looks like a decent list. http://sleepbot.com/ambience/page/compdub.html

Did a fine deal with Oopsie! Only downside was that all three cd cases arrived broken, but since that didn't affect cds nor artwork, I can't complain 'cause it was a great deal! Oopsie comes recommended to all!
