Incredible, isn't it? I find it so weird... but tell me: 3 grand for a gig? What?! That must be not even 15 pounds... right? Nice tracklist, although I would advise you to not play shpongle. It's really uncool. [edit] the guy with the Crystal Ball is amazing. Very impressive!

Agree. Although the samples on Arabesque didn't tell me ANYTHING. Pointless short low-quality samples, I would never base my decision to buy it on those. Instead, anyone considering buying this, should take my word for it and grab without thinking twice. This can impossibly be no good.

Interchill says release date is supposed to be June 6th. That's tomorrow! Somehow I doubt that it will happen this soon, but still. Most anticipated album of the year for me.
-
What music are you listening to right now?
Snapinho replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
Basement Jaxx - Bingo Bango (David Morales Latin Dub Remix) Hahaha, pure summer style cheesiness, but I like it. Quite good remix! -
FINALLY!! Good news, I've been waiting anxiously for this one since I heard they were doing a downbeat album on Interchill. This I will buy blindly.
-
Personally I think it's great. Trashy and over the top and kitsch but I love it.

supergroover: far too loud defenitly have some good tracks.. I played the track 'shock treatment' in an active progressive set a while ago. People felt a little akward at first but really digged the 4/4 coming back in creating a nice moment! I really like the occasional breakbeat in between the good old four to the floor beat.

HELL YEAH! Every single one is brilliant. :clapping: [e] I think I just might order some posters... never realized all this art was made by the same guy. Exactly my style. Thanks man! [/e] [e2] OK, thanks a whole lot for that link, I did just order the "Wish You Were Here" poster (as it's not only beautiful but also one of my favorite albums of all time). [/e2]

This is great!

buy 7 cd's get 2 free / buy 3 cd's get 1 for free
Snapinho replied to kagdila's topic in For Sale/ Trade
You can also buy two times three cds and then you get 2 for free as well. It's incredible, but it's true! No need to pay for that extra seventh cd... -
IDM is such such such a shitty name for a genre. Completely ridiculous, actually. Personally, I would never file Amon Tobin under IDM, and come to think of it, even Squarepusher I'd rather consider something else. Stuff like Bola, Kettel, Isan, yeah... but then again, who cares. What Otto said is true though... maybe you should see 'IDM' as 'trance'. You probably wouldn't like Tiesto (but it's still trance) but would like Hux Flux (still trance). But damn... what a silly name.

Can't download the mix? Because your browser immediately opens it? Then, try going to http://www.mrtoasted.com/~snaap and you end up in my public directory. Just right click and "save as". That should work! Some other mixes in there as well... Let me know if anyone is still having problems, I'd like to hear your opinions... and the title actually came first with this mix: the music was selected accordingly. So, it's a little disorienting, but still on the good side of psychedelic chilled out electronic musix. And no, I had never heard of Frames a Second. Coincidence, I guess.

this is supergroover: Its not because its the definition of popmusic. But because it is very well produced.. The fact that dark psy sucks on most systems is because most of the productions are pretty damn bad. If they were to be produced by junkie xl or someone similar i am sure they could sound loads better. Maybe Penta is a better example of well produced dark psy. I seriously doubt some music is differently produced (we are talking about processing/ eqing etc here) with a certain place for playing in mind. Of course the sounds and type of music are chosen with a certain place to play it in mind. Nice spacious reverbs and lots of delayed sounds are nicer to hear outdoors than in a busy club.. There is a difference in the two.. Production processes are there to make the sound as good as possible independent of the place where it is played. The structure, sounds, rhythm etc of a track will be place dependent. The people of the soundsystem on festivals can of course also alter the eq settings specified for that party.

And? It sucked, didn't it?

Yes folks, it's another one, fresh from the beyond. Thanks to the immortal guy(s) at The Well for supplying me with a fitting name... this one goes out to Brian Dougans & Garry Cobain. All tracks are by the Future Sound of London, or well, not all... one is by Amorphous Androgynous (bonuspoints to the one who finds out which! ) The story evolved while mixing... I tried to use all my favorites, but not the most obvious and wellknown ones. Hope there's something to be found in here for the most FSOL-crazy listeners among Psynewsers. And as always: feedback is most welcome. Hope that all you gals and guys out there appreciate the effort; this mix is best experienced high on stuff (life doesn't count). Enjoy! (: This mix has been recorded using original albums only. Two Pioneer CDJ-100s and one Pioneer DJM-300 were also involved in the process. If anything went wrong, blame Pioneer. You can write an email to support@pioneer.com Technical details: 44.1 kHz, 192 kbps, total playtime: 1:19:43 or 4783 seconds in total. And you didn't post the code? I usually buy some cds at random whenever you post it... please don't leave us out! I don't know how to come across the code otherwise... and I second Rino's comment, a new Pharoahe Monch? Interesting stuff is happening in Hiphop? I didn't know!
-
I agree - Stalker is eerie alright. Higher Intelligence Agency & Biosphere - Polar Sequences is not too comfortable either...
-
I can upload it directly if you prefer, but the link works just fine.
-
Well... anyone listened to it yet? No comments?
-
I just wanted to say I put this track on because of this thread. Goosebumps!
-
I can and I did... just a tip for next time.
-
Alrighty, downloading right now! One tip: next time include your own name in the file... like "Abasio - Solar Fields with Ghost Samples" so I won't forget who it was if I listen to it one year from now. (:

Dude, that last one is genious! I wonder what the record sounds like...
