  1. Still nothing. Has anyone received their copy yet? Should I reconsider downloading this? Am getting a bit impatient...
  2. People should listen to me more often. Now give it a rest. I said:
  3. Nemo, let it rest man. Buzzman, calling people an idiot is surely not a figure of speech in Denmark... Discussion closed, move on, nothing to see here.
  4. I feel like joining this discussion, but since I know it wouldn't help shit, I refrain from doing so. Peace, y'all. Oh, but I do have to say this: even if sarcasm is sometimes misunderstood, it is a very underrated weapon.
  5. My brother in law gave me these two babies for my graduation, very happy with them!
  6. Still need help? You realize it's a cassette, right? If no one here can help you, maybe I can. Remind me, I might have time from sunday onwards...
  7. I am so not downloading this... just a few more days, fuck it, I can wait.
  8. No, YOU were out of context, man. It was fuckin' brilliant! So. First time I've ever preordered an album based on one live performance and a few random samples here and there, and I'm excited about it too. Cool stuff. @lurkster: have a goodun this saturday, won't be there unfortunately. kick some ass, yes?
  9. It's funny: psychedelics - and psychedelic music for that matter - to me are about opening up, opening one's mind, being open to opinions. That stuff. I thought cocaine was all about the holier than thou feeling, but I guess for more than some people it's all about superiority. And that sucks. Your arguments made a lot of sense (If Dead shows were indeed such an amazing experience compared to everything else out there), but after all, the Greatful Dead were just a band. Elvis, just a band. The Beatles, just a band ... It seems that that is a problem related to your area, though. I have never experienced that anywhere. In fact, most people I meet think Goa Gil and his attitude suck ass. Pavel: I don't know if you're serious or not, but that's just a lame attitude dude. Feeling superior, eh?
  10. Pink Floyd - the Great Gig in the Sky most perfect female vocals you'll find...
  11. I agree with you. It's lame to use your dislike of darkpsy as an argument. This discussion is about something else altogether! I've seen Goa Gil once, in Switzerland, at the LSD symposium afterparty, and I think I remember not liking it, because it was bass HEAVY in a very closed environment: too much noise. It wasn't the music per se that sucked, but it certainly didn't fit in that room. Too much interference. And without making any points about darkpsy-good vs. darkpsy-bad, good mixing is an important skill to me, especially when it concerns upbeat-music. Goa Gil can't or won't mix, I think we can agree about that. By the way, who knows the real story? I think it was Antaris (?) festival a few years ago, and Goa Gil was playing at some stage. He absolutely refused to stop, so what the organizers did in the end, was simply pull the plug and start another stage. That is just too fucked up... thorn: was Jerry Garcia your holy man before? What I remember/have seen about deadheads was that they indeed used to regard Jerry as their idol... right? Just curious.
  12. Not that curious about this one... found the previous Kuba album rather bland.
  13. Any must-read classics on that subject, Otto?
  14. why are you smiling ?

  15. I'm planning everything to be there next year. I really don't wanna miss this again (and again, and again...) Wonder how SkeletonMan liked it!
  16. Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit Seriously, this is such a great track... love it. "Rememberrrrrrrrrrrr what the dormouse saaaaaidd.... feeeeeeeed your heaaheaaaaaaad"
  17. Sorry, I had no intention of buying it, I was just surprised it was that expensive...
  18. What a brilliant cover!
  19. Bumped for great-thread-ness.
  20. Dub Syndicate - Stoned Immaculate First time I heard this track was driving in a huge-ass Mercedes (not me, a sober friend), in these ultra-comfortable chairs, listening to a tape a German friend of mine (who was visiting) had recorded off of some late night dub radio show, while tripping our asses off on mushrooms. We thought it would be a great idea to take shrooms and have ourselves driven around. It was! This track has so many good memories it's unbelievable. Heard them perform it live once, too, and I don't think I've ever been that stoned in a show (and by god, I have been stoned at many shows. ) Sorry, just had to share that. What a nice track this is. "Out here, on the parameter, there are no stars... Out here we are stooo oooo ooo oooned.... immaculate. " :posford:
  21. TOTALLY agreed. Really beautiful track. In fact, there are many Orb classics...
  22. That Ocelot one is simple, yet very effective. I like it a lot! Psychedelic !
  23. Only found three samples: the ones on his myspace. And those sound really really nice!
  24. Well, to me it is. And it's kinda what I'm talking about. damon: I'm not that into trance, gonna check 'm out. abasio & bahamut: nice ones.
