I'm spinning CD 1 of GOA Session by Ritmo (VA). Im on the first track. I bought it because of the IM - Psycho (LOUD / Domestic Remix). I like the honesty of the sticker on the cover. It sais; "Premium Progressive & Psychedelic Club Trance". Just the word Club there makes me smile. Good on them "seperating" it like that. Call it for what it is, Club trance. Psychedelic? Yeah sure, quality so far. So this is a YSE album, compiled by Ritmo. That BIG image of RITMO on the inside folderpage of the CD-case, is not so superb btw. Would be without his upperbody n face inside the CD-box. It makes me almost not want to open it up further to get to the 2 CDs. Im happy to own this, it has other quality tracks I might enjoy with friends.

Thats a very nice review Antic:) - the first half of it was better then the last (I think the overall homage to OTT/Shpongle is nice and respectful, and all the singing and chanting (that i agree is a tad too much according to personal taste) is cute/charming and feels local and meaningfull to the artist/town..), but still on. Here's x-ing that you will write a good (questionable?) review of IM's new soup. Man, that Manipulator .. I bet the whole album is just full of singing.

Seems like to me that each album theiv released represent a different style within Psytrance. I played the whole album in my old appartment in the middle of a capital city. Doing that, playing a full album out the window (backyard, but still) for sure makes you concider how good the album actually is heard from many varieble ears. Why? I was testing a bluetooth soundsystem I was promised would last 5 hours full power. It didnt. It lasted about 2 hours. Good sound thouugh, impressive. Very much agree, even though I havent heard much of Talpa's releases beyond the first. Talpa and Erez respectfully share that innocence of having not taken magic mushrooms / or any drugs at all before making such magic mushroom like music, if you'd like. The Misted Muppets I bought and it fell off my ears for a long while being too full-on and weary on the ears. In general, thank god for Pitch on CDJs. Its much better some slowed down imo.. And lets not forget about the 'The Immaculate Perception ‎' album released by Nystagmus. Oh and MOST DEFO, for both IM psytrance, and Prog. Psytrance. Antic, could you please take the time to point out where you connect this Sauce album wth the two first? Because Im struggling for the most to hear what your so positivelly happy comparing about.. Actually, after this album, i am starting to thinkk an old silly thought that IM's legendary albums, are not made by them 2 only, it was co-created by other minds of the psytrance scene. Listening to the Sauce I am unable to hear how in earth/space they managed to make such powerful alternative trance music like Gathering and Classical.. Since 1996... Smth smth...... PS: You members of psynews are mostly Goa-fans, and damn awesome at it. Is there not a single person that can agree that listening/mixing like a DJ together tracks from Classical, and artists like Crop Circles (DAT Records release) works marvoulus together???? That IM music just like the first three IM albums, have managed to inspire and pull a lot of poeple in. I pitty those who only diggs the new IM and do not fancy the old- IM so much. I guess they pitty me/us too! All IM has smth. Just now with this Sauce album, i am starting to question if they actually where solely the ones making the first ones. Because the all is soo mucch more impressive and FAT *whooooo!! then on this new shit. And I am baffled by how many people ENJOY the annoyance of (especially) new IM. I dont think no matter how young i would have been when first encountering IM, I would ever love that jalla rabble off sounds... Its just not good.
