  1. 62,4 Days ^^ All kins of genres albeit Goa Trance (old and new) will claim the biggest portion of that.
  2. Personally I like the cover, and the music for that matter. I am very glad you guys decided to release a VA that doesn't necessarily contain killer old school tracks, but also some tracks that are valuable from a musical-historical point of view. This makes it very interesting. Needless to say, it still includes some monstermonstertracks like the Doof, Slinky Wizard and GNOTR tracks. Ring of Fire will always be one of the absolute classics in my book, and still causes spontaneous freak-out-ism inside my skull.
  3. Hey Guys, You all know I make no secret of loving new school and melody. Well, I recorded another set with a lot of euphoric vibes just to kickstart the summer! Especially the ending will give you a kick in the head Enjoy! https://soundcloud.com/ironsun/sunstruck Tracklist: 1. Filteria - Filteroid (Day @ 2 AM) (Suntrip Records) 2. Trinodia - Out Of Orbit (Ovnimoon Records) 3. E-Mantra - Afterglow (Nova Fractal Remix) (Suntrip Records) 4. Innerself - Hidden Worlds (Ovnimoon Records) 5. 4. What the fuck I just saw this what is this I don't even... THE ANTICIPATION OH MY GOD
  5. Discogs says 203 unique releases. So it's probably a bit less. Only Psytrance (most of it goa, some forest, prog and full-on) and ambient though
  6. It depends. I have to admit that I'm kind of an aficionado of how psytrance sounds while under the influence of various substances. There is just nothing like a good dj-set/album/track while being high on acid. It just let's the music come to life, the concept of hearing music is linked to so many different senses while high it really creates a synergetic ultra-experience. So once in a while, maybe 2 or 3 times a year I take acid and listen to Goa. If I'd ever trip without hearing goa I'd consider that a wasted trip. I smoke quite a lot of weed, and also on weed the music changes a lot to me. It's weird because I've known people who say the music doesn't change at all for them while being stoned. I on the other hand experience a rather drastic change in the perception of the music, even so drastic I'd doubt the possibility of the perception of music not changing while high. With that being said: I listen to Psy-Trance all the time, so naturally I also enjoy it sober. It's the only music for me that actually warrants the time being invested in it. WHile I was a student I experimented rather heavily and I was always curious about how the music would sound
  7. You're welcome ^^ Very interesting to hear that you are up to the challenge of a full K.O.B. album! Although I must admit that I'm curious, I thought a K.O.B. album would never be... What has changed your mind? Very cool to hear btw that the last two BIG Suntrip releases (Lost In The WIld and Nemesis) both showcase a return to the rawer acid. Loving it!
  8. How about this? It's only a short fragment though... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsTUm8cx-lw
  9. I enjoy the album organistic, I think it has some great moments
  10. Artifact303 - Back To Space and I second Goasia's From Other Spaces! UX's Ultimate Experience is very spacey too, but in a dark, menacing way (like a superstardestroyer full of evil Sith). I also agree that Corolle is very earthly, much like the classic Blue Energy by Jaia which sounds a lot like a trip around the planet (and signifies the element of water to me). Alas, there is no music that is more cosmic than Etnica's Live in Athens, Alien Protein, Pleiadians' IFO and Crop Circles Tetrahedron.
  11. Mixing together some of the hardest acid-goa tracks I have on cd.... Ending with Moonweed & Squid's absolute megastomper Full Potential WRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH
  12. Looks like I'll be going again this year...
  13. Dancing Galaxy is still my favorite though
  14. Indeed! Although no-one really called it Goa-Trance back then The first track I ever heard was cities of the future by infected mushroom and although I don't like it as much now, I just knew psytrance was the music for me back then. The first album that really blew my mind is probably Transdimensional by Dimension 5, although waves from outer space by Kindzadza and debut by psykovsky I heard before transdimensional but I liked those more for individual tracks.
  15. I had a pretty good 2013, although many people around me had a pretty bad one... I hope 2014 will be better for everyone enjoy it!
  16. My highlights for 2013 so far: Uptempo: VA - Phoenix (Zion604) VA - Mind Rewind 2 Dimension 5 - Transaddendum / Transstellar Crop Circles EP's Filteria - Lost In The Wild VA - Tribal Encore VA - Lucid Flux VA - Blacklight Moments Nebula Meltdown - Stardust Chronicles Cosmic Dimension - In A Special Kind Of Space Ovnimoon - Trancemutation Of The Mind Stereofeld - Frequenzwechsel Lyctum - Vibrations Of Life Psilocybian - Dreamtime GoaTree - The Force Downtempo: E-Mantra - The Hermit's Sanctuary Globular - Magnitudes Of Order VA - Through The Afterlife Kurbeats - Folktronica Akshan - The Rise Of Atlantis Turlitava 2 Nuage - Vivant I think it was a great year with many superb releases. 20. That's what I was saying I wrote my bachelor paper about hero-figures in Shounen manga and anime ^^ I don't say it's a problem either, but that's kinda the most prevalent formula: the underdog hard worker who beats the all-powerful talented villain.
  21. Well, it is in those kind of scenarios the infamous 'deus ex machina' often makes it's appearance, something I find irritating in most of the cases. Unless it's really well pulled off... Japanese shounen manga often suffer from this. In almost every (important) fight the good guy gets beaten pretty badly but then somehow transcends to a higher level and defeats the villain after all. It's really formulaic
