  1. I'm so in love with No Way Wrong (2011 Remix)...
  2. This indeed looks like a very interesting read! Thanks a bunch!
  3. Got these a couple of days ago
  4. Fan-tas-tic mix!! I LOVE it! I don't don't really know any more of such tracks but I'll keep my ears open! Great sound ^^
  5. I sometimes listen to full-on too... It's not that I hate the genre in itself either, I just don't know too many good full-on acts. To party on it can be quite nice, however for homelistening I just prefer Goa, ambient and forest.
  6. Procrastinating like there's no tomorrow... LEAVE ME ALONE INTERWEBZ!!! But it won't :'(
  7. So tonight it's go big or go broke for the netherlands! Any predictions? I'm guessing 2-2... Or a victory for germany...
  8. SO, we had quite the eventful first round of matches! Russia really kicked Czech Republic's ass, although 4-1 was a bit heavy.. Czech Republic deserved at least 2 goals imo... Fantastic goal by Pavlyuchenko though, eat your heart out Kerzhakov! And in greece-poland it was cards galore! Really curious to see Netherlands and Germany play though, definitely my two favourite teams of this European Championship.
  9. You are correct! And to nitpick, the title of the album in the topic title is a bit of a bad transcription, it should read "Mugen Utchuu Daizen". Of course I know you don't speak Japanese Draeke, so it's not your fault or anything, but I just wanted to point this out, sorry for the nitpicking Looks like a mighty fine surprise to me, this album does!!
  10. Go for it!
  11. The link is dead! Now I'm curious too
  12. Oh god I sure hope that won't be the case when I start working... I love to vegetate I'm studying. And after that I'm going to study some more. And after that I guess I'm going to study even more. Because my life consists out of studying at the moment. Can't say I don't like it. Even more so, I actually enjoy having nothing to do but study for 3 weeks in a row. Especially considering it will be the last time... After my exams I just have to finish my thesis, submit it and that will be the end of my student life. I'm still not sure if I like that or not (even though I studied for seven years...) BYEBYE COMFORTZONE!!!
  13. First impressions of space of power?
  14. I've had this compilation for almost a year now and it is slowly growing on me. I can't say that I was overly impressed by it the first few times I listened to it. Too much of the same formula, the tracks just weren't sucking me in, too generic: that was my verdict back then. Now, I must say that I find it a solid release. Many of the tracks (like goasia's zero gravity and liquid flow's land of time) grew on me while sporadically using them in spontaneous mixing sessions. Other tracks, like Shakta's new one and E-mantra's Soul Searcher I liked from the beginning as exceptions and Filteria's The Big Blue live mix and Goasia's Solar Storm will certainly grow on me in the future. I guess that leaves me with the tracks by Ajna, Hypnagogia and Jikooha which I still think are just 'meh'. Not bad per se, but at the same time not very memorable. However, with Goa Trance I just can't ever know for sure (the countless tracks and entire albums that suddenly amaze me after a year or two-year gap prove this), so let's for now say that this disc surely has some potential albeit still not an essential in my opinion.
  15. Thoughts on random friday and greenosophy? Especially curious about the new solar fields...
  16. Relieved to hear that and thank you!
  17. Hmmm, I hope that the tracks on the actual release are mastered better than the free download Biocandy that's available now because it sounds like shit :S
  18. I listened to it a couple of days ago. Sounding really good so far, it still has that driving somewhat darker sound from Arcana but you can also hear that it evolved quite a lot. Very curious to hear the end-product!
  19. Today they announced on their Facebook page that a new album is in the making and will be coming soon! Oh man, I'm so thrilled about this, let's hope for another insta-classic!
  20. Hehe, fun idea penzo but I too have to admit that I haven't listened to anything by electric universe after cosmic experience
  21. Beautiful track, thanks a lot!
  22. Crossing Mind - The Inner Shift 1. The Unenlightened Perspectives 09:10 2. Solarnium 09:09 3. Modulated Self Reminders 09:27 4. Magnetic Fields of Life 08:46 5. Elastic Harmonies 09:49 6. No Way Wrong (2011 Remix) 09:20 7. Plutonia 09:27 8. Optronic Circles (Inner Shift mix) 08:13 Review: I feel a strong desire to start this review off by saying that Crossing Mind probably has THE most unique sound in modern Goa Trance at this moment. Not only that, the track’s composition and feel are very different too. But in what way, you might ask? Well, as we all know, Suntrip stands for melodic sunny modern Goa Trance in all it’s facets. While artists like Filteria and Artifact303 would fit into the blazing, uplifting spectrum and E-mantra in the somewhat melancholic, deeper, floatier spectrum, Crossing Mind surely belongs to the introspective, subtle yet highly melodic/harmonic spectrum. The style represented in this album is, as said before, a lot less to the point than his collection of older tracks on DAT Records and at the same time much more subtle. Do not expect full power trance. Do not expect larger-than-life, blazingly uplifting melodies. Instead, expect deliciously complex harmonics, subtly interwoven melodies that swirl and spiral in a never-ending introspective vortex of psychedelic bliss. The textures, leadsynths, bass, kick, in short everything is on a level of production and creativity rarely seen in today’s psytrance. It’s also remarkable how much he DOES with the sound, modulating it into oblivion. None-the-less I do have to admit that it took me some listens to start appreciating it to it’s full extent. I was sceptical at first because, while I did enjoy quite a couple of tracks by Crossing Mind, the album on DAT didn’t reach up to my (maybe too high) expectations. However, now I’m here I just can’t look back and can say with all my heart that this is a modern gem, a classic-to-be and next to Artifact303’s masterpiece of a debut certainly the best Suntrip has ever released. My favorite tracks here are Solarnium, Magnetic Fields of Life, Elastic Harmonies (which stands out the most) and No Way Wrong (2011 Remix). They represent such beautifully crafted landscapes that JUST DO NOT GET BORING. I can keep listening to them forever! Detail, complexity, sound, harmony, melody and creativity in a perfect marriage. The downtempo tracks deserve a special mention as well because they too are a joy to listen to and just get lost in. And I really hope that the short hidden track someday gets a lot longer and released because it sounds way too yummy to be this short! Buy it. Listen to it. Drown in it. 10/10 PS.: Congratulations Richpa on the beautiful cover artwork!
  23. Yes, fantastic track!
