    Hi Penzoline, no it is not pure goa trance, it is rather psychedelic madness style, their unique sound with loads of weird fxs and whatnot, but pretty interesting. Although I have to be honest, some tracks here are very worth having but the best of the best, real madness goa tracks, remained unreleased. I still hope there will be a chance to release them on my label at some point.

    I hope the album will be available form other sources too. I bought their first releases directly from the label but I had serious problems receiving the CDs, maybe it was Italian post's fault, maybe a combination of things but either way, it has been very difficult for me to receive my purchases directly from the label. The releases are solid, that is for sure, but I'd hope for a different distribution system, through Arabesque for example. The releases would be much more spread and easy to get, for everyone, that is just my 2 cents of course. Wish all the best to the label in any case.

    We do have copies for sale guys, I think 300 was a bit of a too big run for the release, we sold a solid half, maybe a few more. Considering there were also some extras from the plant, I do have a lot left. But I know the price is a drag for many and the shipping costs are very high too. I still can say that I managed to recover almost all the investment, so it was a successful experience . I suppose I might sell more if I were to send some to stores for reselling. Will see if it is viable.

    Hello Balance Music, thanks for your request . I do have some posters made (with the covers and whatnot), and I was planning on producing them for fans, if there is interest. Something that won't be expensive at all, let's think just covering production costs and shipping. I will be back in Italy for the month of February and I will make sure to inquire producers and check shipping for "round boxes" which I never shipped/handled. I am positive something can be done and then I could make them A3 size or even bigger if anyone wants. Cheers

    I think it is impossible to be following everything that gets released out there, regardless the genre you like. Even if you just want to focus on newly made psytrance/goa it is simply too much. Either you live just listening the whole day or you have to decide. I stick to buying new released cd from all the valid labels to support their work, but then again, I think I had no time to listen to even the 30% of what I have got. I think in any case it is important to support the labels doing all the hard work to get the music out there, and that is what counts. That, and enjoying the best music when you have some free time. I also realized that in my 20s I was listing to many hours of music per day, now it's much less, not because I don't like it but because, well I got older. Also, more selective

    It's about time to celebrate the awesome musicality of this producer! As wisely put by Jos and Fabien the guy is amazingly talented and he was brought to my attention for his powerful remix of Phthalic Vibes by Richpta sometimes in 2013. I forwarded it immediately to Fabien and have started chatting with MR regularly. He wanted to get in touch with Etnica, and his wish was granted. I advised him to go for Suntrip for his launch album, as they would make him famous, while doing that I also negotiated to have his etnica remixes licensed, so, things moved and sooner than later his powerful music will be released. He truly is talented, dare I say the successor to Filteria? Time will tell .

    January 2015 News: 1st we repressed Mind Rewind, and it can now be purchased for its original price of 15 euro directly from the label. Shipped from Poland it can be bought together with Volume 2 for the splendid offer of 30 eur plus shipping. 2nd Doof 2CD is almost ready, final touches to artwork (yes we want it to be gorgeous looking till the last detail) and off it goes to the pressing plant! Let's hope these releases will bring a lot of joy to many listeners

    I really liked both tunes, for a change. But then again I also love techno, minimal, progressive house and other modern productions. I think to expect FR to do "pure goa trance of the 90s" would be foolish, they might be a fine label experimenting in other directions too, with a touch of psychedelia. I'd be very happy about it and am happy they restarted, let's be positive, I am sure some good stuff can come out

    I believe your edition to be legitimate Pat, the bootlegs most commonly came from Russia pretty often with fake logos/barcodes. I don't think Amazon carries bootleg at all, usually. So I think you should chill and the guy should submit his jewel case version to discogs now, with scans of the covers, that way we could maybe discuss something, if it looks fishy. The price of this album is probably high as there might not be too many copies around. I wonder why Boris did not repress the disc on his own label afterwards

    Merry Christmas Everyone!! It's with great joy that I can announce that the first compilation, Mind Rewind, has been repressed. We wanted to keep the surprise for today and I know hundreds of people were waiting for this news. We will stop people from profiting out of a pro-charity compilation as we reached an agreement with all the Artists who donated the tracks, everyone was happy about our decision. The profits will once again be donated to the MangoTreeGoa association in India who help kids get basic education. Ordering page will come soon on www.datrecords.it and don't worry there are plenty of copies for everyone. Enjoy!

    I think the debate about the art distracted everyone from the focal point of this thread that is the great release on Zion. The music on this release is wonderful, I am so thankful to be joined by Zion in my quest to preserve rare old unreleased music. It is good to see them treating this music respectfully, properly remastering it and offering it to the world. Good work Roy and all the team at Zion

    So... We have received the final version of the remastered tracks for the 2CD of 'Doof - Let's Turn On' and it really is a treat! The tracks sound balanced and transparent yet preserving the original analogue feeling. It took a long time as we worked closely with the audio engineer but finally we achieved the desired result . I am sure this will please a lot of souls out there! Expect a release for early 2015

    @emperorgoa: the track was so incredible it gave me instant chills. It was absolutely different from anything i have ever heard on the japanese scene, haunting, deep, pure goa it was something with intro, chants, flutes, voices and great production, definitely a monster tune. I remember you could hear it perfectly as the video was shot in 1080p and that is maybe was it was removed, you could see a lot of people under heavy influence and i am sure someone noticed and complained to youtube. The track was really beautiful, it's all i can say, and i have heard a lot (;

    A little update: 1. We received some first mastering tests but the mastering engineer is making further changes to the sound, for the best possible experience 2. We received part of the artwork and it's coming out wonderfully to say the least 3. I am deciding what to do to make it into a super cool packaging, and thinking about possible extras for it.. So: I'm working a lot on this, so that it becomes an awesome release BOOM!
