  1. @Antic: In fact I was referring to how rushy we were to make the first pressing, those copies contained errors in the files, but like clicks and other artifacts, nothing to do with the mastering, you misinterpreted my words and read what YOU wanted to read because that is just YOUR opinion on the subject. That said, let's not speak of other things rather than the release here, and be wary that I accept mastering talks only on an official review thread, every comment regarding that will be reported by me to Admins, it's a promo thread this one. Thanks for understanding.
  2. About Doof: there were NO ERRORS in mastering, there were issues with the pressing and some artifacts were produced not related to the mastering, thus we had to repress.
  3. Samples are UP! I will create a video tomorrow, for the extended wait that was needed to ensure the perfect cleaning of the music. This time, as opposed to what happened with Doof, instead of rushing to the plant i took the necessary time and on some tracks we worked for days, so hopefully it will be my best release ever... @mods please change the title of the topic from DATCD007 Pleiadians - I.dentified F.lying O.bjects - Remixed & Remastered to DATCD007 Pleiadians - I.dentified F.lying O.bjects - 3CD Digipak as it won't contain the word remixed and remastered anymore
  4. Well.. you will see the rest! And I think soon there will be samples online too on Arabesque
  5. That CD, that I also never found original because scarcely distributed (Tripout Volume 1), is very sought after. Mostly by Nitzhonot collectors though who are often spending a lot. I wish I got it from you at 50 though, a reasonable price. Regarding the cd singles of the topic, I concur, in the 90s not many wanted them, they were looked like strange, people would buy the album or a compilation, more value for the money and djs who were buying singles preferred the vinyl version. That is why they are now collector's items. I have been offered numbers with 00 for the singles in my collection, notably the ones on flying rhino which seem to be as rare as the Jaia's one. The KURO single is an exception, a little work of art in itself and I understand why it costs much, it's from Japan and all and I remember I paid a fortune for it myself (over 100 I recall).
  6. And here is the video, I've managed to put it up today: Cheers!
  7. Just a quick notice to say that we are doing all we can to start the pressing as soon as possible, the distributor has been alerted and all is set to move on as fast as possible, hold tight. Meanwhile I went djing in Belgium last weekend and could test a couple of tracks from the upcoming release, the response was killer. I have decided to upload the set on youtube as i have recorded it, so I am editing it and later on (during the weekend) it will be online and will be posted here. I also have read all the other suggestions/comments and will keep in mind all. I can tell you, pdinklag, that we try to focus on never before released on CD tracks, so in a way it would be a waste of space to release these 2 TS tracks, however, we do have 1 cd of unreleased and 1 cd of vinyl only, like we did with volume 2! Cheers!
  8. I wonder if there really will be a vinyl edition, can't wait as the album is magnificient!
  9. I have seen them "live" some years ago as well but probably a bit earlier than the years you mention (must have been 2006) and it was an early incarnation of what later was to be: playing badly remixed commercial hits for their whole set. Back when I saw them they were playing some of their own music too, so it wasn't just that but from what I read here, it seems they've now got worst. I wonder, where is their creativity gone? And then I remind myself of where they live and what they do all day long, so the conclusion it's easy: it's their lifestyle and the party island where they live that influenced their creativity. Back when they created their monstrously good albums they were young, living the dream in Amsterdam and had something unique to say. Their madly acid driven tracks are a shadow in the past and it's a pity, they could have just stopped producing and maintain a legendary status. I have no idea if any of their latest album is any good but the last interesting output i have heard from them was the GMS & Amigos in y2k. my 2c
  10. I wonder how people would react to the remixes of the classical tracks. I seriously hope the threads after the release of my IFO version would be much bigger than this I just want to add: prepare for a treat or should I say: an alien threat?
  11. It's very peculiar that this post appeared, spontaneously here. Right about time someone would post about this legendary project ! I have to say that the output of the band is one of the biggest in this genre and I am astonished by the quantity and quality of music they have, both released and unreleased and that my label could happily go on releasing previously unheard tracks by them, for years to come. But about the already available tracks, I have to say that just 10 perfect tracks, seems to me to be a little considering an output that I think surpass 150 tracks, I have not counted but I have the impression, all projects considered. I also can understand that Lunar Civilization could seem very heard, but there are still some mixes to be released of it, maybe one of these will please astralprojection here @Ormion : it was originally intended to be on the album, if it were to be released on Auracle. After so many years a tape cassette emerged, an original promo from UK and I could discover the true track-list it had to have. I didn't have Ghost Circles when I compiled the album in 2007-8 and therefore when I discovered it on dat tapes in the following years, I had to wait the perfect timing and place for it to be released. That is when I started to think about re-issuing the singles. You have to understand I had to work like an archaeologist all these years, and each time I was visiting Max in Ibiza I was searching through his collection of tapes for many many hours, trying to find more lost tracks.. all in all it took me hundreds of hours of attempt listening / ripping to discover all I did.
  12. indeed KURO and friends was an album i wanted to re-release for a long time, but i think a digital release is a great thing . Btw, someone mentioned the Paranoia Loops CD, well it's a cd i have rated 2, that's all i can say, nothing great beside the first 2 tracks, the ones who made it to vinyl (also rare, seen it only once). Whoever bought the ep on discogs, made a great deal, i wish i'd seen that..
  13. Thanks for all the powerful comments, I am sure you are all eager to listen to the liveset as I am to publish it, we have the GO from the Artist and we will proceed speed of light to finalize everything.. it really is a matter of days before we send off everything to the pressing plant, as announced in the other thread of DAT news and I am so excited to make for the first time a triple digipak, just like the ones I have always loved from Nova Tekk!
  14. I blame discogs because we pay them already a solid 8% on taxes and they should take care of the VAT themselves, they make millions already over our hard work, so for me that is a no go, simple as that Anyway, please let's stick to the topic
  15. September News: Hello again, that was quick, wasn't it (summer that is)??! Well with the sun leaving and the year kicking in, so do we at DAT with some projects being finalized. 1 The mastering of Pleiadians - I.F.O. 3CD has finished, and was approved by the Artists themselves who tested the tracks on dancefloors of festivals this summer, so if you heard some tracks that you knew already, sounding particularly sharp, well it might have been a remastered version That said we are proceeding to finalize the artwork, courtesy of Miro (that I met this summer, awesome person beside being super talented) and we then go to pressing. I aim to release in early November, if we manage to send everything off to the plant in this next week. (I know you are all waiting but remember, 2 months from the day i send things to the pressing plant is the standard release time, not much can be done about that, distributors have their rules/timings!). I wish I could have sent all to the plant in July but it was impossible as nobody finished their work in time and the pressing plant contact I work with usually was on holiday in Bali.... 2 The mastering of Vedama and Opale EPs will begin right now, and hopefully we can release them together with IFO, as the artwork has been finished already. 3 I will gather the tracks for Mind Rewind 3 during this month, I already have some reserved/confirmed and there will be nice surprises. I also took into account many suggestions/advice whenever it was possible. 4 The online shop at DAT Records website has been re-opened and will likely be the sole place where I sell my records and t-shirts from now on, as Discogs has introduced some new regulations and more taxes for the sellers, that was not very nice news. That said I do hope you had a blasting/marvelous summer and for whoever is in Belgium, I will be djing Saturday the 19th of September in Antwerp, let me know if you'd come and do say hello if you see me. Best Vibes to everyone!!
  16. i've mixed with cd since 97, and well, never changed that. At the beginning i did like Joske and only djed from originals but then I started backing up copies and right now i prepare my set on high quality cd-r, meaning i select all the tracks i want to play at home and store them on 2 sole discs, and then mix from there, i can't be bothered of changing discs anymore, so in a way it's like if i were playing from 2 usb sticks. That is maybe why someone posted on this thread that some dj never change cds, well that's been me in the last 5 years at least. But being a dj is much more than mixing, it is the preparation. I spend hours searching for the right combination of tracks and that is what counts, then for me u might even play from one single usb stick, i don't mind, it's the story and the music that defines the dj. Sometimes I also rip vinyl only tracks for my set in advance for the dj set.
  17. http://www.discogs.com/Various-Dance-Trance-Magic-Plants-Otherworld/master/40112 http://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Visions/release/352341 these were the 2 / 3rd links of technosomy anyway both rabtu gawa and mahasiddhi are essential compilations, including the magnificient jaffa project track and the dharma 7 tracks. these records on paradise production were not too well distributed i think, but very worth. see them here: http://www.discogs.com/label/7078-Paradise-Productions of course then you have to check these labels: High Society / Dope Media http://www.discogs.com/label/5595-High-Society-3 http://www.discogs.com/label/33471-Dope-Media Trigger http://www.discogs.com/label/3945-Trigger Cosmic Trigger http://www.discogs.com/label/19985-Cosmic-Trigger in specific the series of "Survival of the Trippestr 1,2,3" http://www.discogs.com/label/453293-Survival-Of-The-Trippest and more. But you should try to find maybe them digitally as i think hard copies of these are all very hard to find and expensive. Then of course there is Trance Medusa: http://www.discogs.com/label/30234-Trance-Medusa-Records hope these German TIPs help.
  18. yes I don't think some members will ever leave. I am in since year 2000 and athough I have not posted too much, I have read it weekly if not daily since then.
  19. Instabuy, very good music, together with the first album. I wish this producer all the success he can get, I also love the anime-manga-final fantasy inspired themes.
  20. http://www.discogs.com/Various-Chaos-Unlimited-Rebirth/release/291848 http://www.discogs.com/Various-Pure-Goa-A-Psychedelic-Trip/release/366043 http://www.discogs.com/Various-Infinity-Hz/release/48808 http://www.discogs.com/Various-Infinity-Hz-2/release/363694
  21. unfortunately i wasn't there but i have read so many good reviews and posts about so many sets, that it was amazing for sure! what i wanted to ask is if people filmed parts of the sets and if so, why don't we post all there is on youtube on the thread? I for one would love to watch what i have missed. Finally, I also wanted to ask how was the dj goblin set? I have read from Joske and somewhere else that it was amazing, what kind of music did he play? I guess he might have had some old unreleased tracks of his own maybe, i know at least one that is psychedelic madness. But curious to have more details on his set
  22. Hello Rob, I think you'd have more success if you sort the list alphabetically and if you state condition of every single release. It doesn't look very tempting when you say from G+ to VG either and finally, everyone is on holidays, more or less, till september. I might be interested in a few, but need to know the condition and prices, thanks!
  23. I really want to find a way to get the Cosmic Conspiracy, but I don't know what I can offer for it I have never asked but would you be interested in an original tape cassette of the unmastered album of crop circles? I have found a few of those, no cover though, just the tape, like this: http://www.discogs.com/Crop-Circles-Tetrahedron/release/1134594
  24. ahahahah, I don't think KingGoa meant any harm with his post, he is always funny and humorous. That said there are possibilities of shipping with courier to India as well, should you not trust priority/registered air mail from Italy. I have to say though that prices raised a lot for the postal service, together with a better service in most cases. Thanks for the feedback about doof shirts, i will try to make them real.
