  1. Dance N Dust Records proud to present: Sarolta Monspart - Turning water into Funk (album) after long break we are back!!! Sarolta Monspart, solo musical project driven by former punk and new wave musician Anders Palmqvist, based in the deep forests of Sweden. Dropping out of the band thing in the late 80’s and hooking up with the new music technology that was coming along at the time. Epic dance experiences from the beaches and jungles of Koh Pha-Ngan and Goa in the early 90’s made new musical directions easy to choose from there on. Eclectic ambitions to catch bits and pieces from many kinds of dance music and squeeze them into the fluoro costume of evolving trance is on the menu. Turning water into Funk is a compilation of tracks produced in the last twelve years. tracking list: 01 Native Tongue 02 Inside Job 03 Extra Everything 04 Swedish People 05 Tech Support 06 Whole lotta’ Superstition 07 No such Thing 08 Blast from the Past 09 HDM release date :19.01.2017 beatport exclusive release date: 02.02.2017 ------------------------------------------------------------- links: test his music : https://soundcloud.com/sarolta-monspart page: https://www.facebook.com/sarolta.monspart.music/ beatport: https://www.beatport.com/label/dance-n-dust/6700 Bandcamp: https://dancendustrecords.bandcamp.com/
  2. I've been listening to my father's old vinyl records that he left me after his passing and I've been getting into a progressive rock band that goes by the name of its 3 band members Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and Carl Palmer (Emerson Lake & Palmer) also known as ELP... The Keyboardist (Keith Emerson) is unbelievable on the synthesizers. His use of the modular moog is second to none and is every bit as psychedelic as modern psytrance. Check out the song called "Tarkus".. the intro to that piece is ominous, foreboding, and beautiful... Its definitely not for everyone and it might not be of interest to anyone on this site but its definitely worth checking out.
  3. A new set, recorded a few days ago...Enjoy! Youtube Link
  4. A. The story What happens when you invite a dj to listen to your music. You ask him if he likes it enough to make a dj set. We are talking about a dj that played 'trance' music in Goa (India) in both the beginning and mid 90's? So a guy who knows what 'goa trance' is all about What happenend? a) Well, he likes the music a lot b) And he makes a wonderfull set with 100% Cronomi music Big huggs for 'Djamstore Beats'!!! B. The dj says what...?! "I've been invited to make a mix with tracks from Cronomi Records only. It was an honor and it was a pleasure to do so. I am happy to know that there are some labels out there keeping the original Goa Party music alive. Rooted in the old school vibes, Cronomi releases music which is nevertheless fresh and new without just copying the past, but bringing the original vibes back into the present. There is continuity, a clear vision of musical identity and a specific "label-style". I love that. Buy the artist's stuff. They deserve it!" C. The dj set/track list (THX to all the artists who made it happen all over the years) 1. Jikkenteki With 11 - Super Power Mustard, 2. Pandemonium! - A Mad Scientists Night (Subra vs Felis Remix), 3. Lauge - Dawn

Label: Iboga Records Country: Denmark Released: 01 Feb 2019 Style: Downtempo, Psy-Trance, Progressive Trance Bandcamp Tracklist: 1. Undercurrent 08:29 2. Northbound 10:13 3. Taiga 08:40 4. Wider Horizons (Album edit) 10:42 5. Kamchatka 08:49 6. Juvenile 09:38 7. Wandering Off... 10:21 8. Cassiopeia 07:12 Lauge is Henrik Laugesen, an ambient producer from Denmark. This is his first psy-prog album for Iboga, and it's pretty darn good. The melodies are lush and those basslines are thick. It's not surprising, as Iboga is always the mark of high quality. Of course, there are some boring releases in the Iboga's catalog, but fortunately, Dawn by Lauge is far from being boring. REVIEW 1. Undercurrent 08:29 Slow beats merge with epic melodies in this opening track. Sounds very promising and inspiring. It's a strong start and I can already feel that this album is going to be quite a journey. 4/5 2. Northbound 10:13 I'm sure this will sound like a cliche, but listening to this track makes you feel like floating in the sky. It's super airy and dreamy. But it does get a bit more intense closer to the middle. The breakdown in the middle introduces some very gentle, almost transparent strings that add extra dimension to the melodic element of the track. As a result, the entire second half sounds really beautiful. If there is progressive heaven, this is it. 5/5 3. Taiga 08:40 Here is another slow builder. But unfortunately it doesn't build up to anything significant. This is quite a subpar track in comparison to the first two openers. 3/5 4. Wider Horizons (Album edit) 10:42 The beginning of the track feels really tight and engaging. Then, some fine synths enter the scene and launch the track into the stratosphere. The first breakdown happens at around 6 minutes just to let the listener take a breath. But then it hits once again reminding you just how powerful this whole piece can be. Definitely one of the best tracks on the album. 5/5 5. Kamchatka 08:49 I love how this track starts. Super mysterious with deep voices, very dramatic. Too bad there is no interesting progression to follow. I'm a bit disappointed, because that intro was incredible. Oh well... 3/5 6. Juvenile 09:38 So many producers these days have the tendency to put filler tracks in their albums, and Juvenile is the definition of a filler. It's not bad enough to completely dismiss it, but it also isn't good enough to put it in high regard. Although, I have to say that the second part has something interesting going on, it's still not enough to rate it more than an above average track. 3/5 7. Wandering Off... 10:21 A this point I just needed something good. And my wish came true. Wandering Off is a gorgeous piece of music with a fascinating melody and progression. Lauge gives enough time for a listener to soak in every single tone shift, and I am really grateful for that. This is a feel-good track of the album. 4/5 8. Cassiopeia 07:12 The closing track of the album is a very fine chill-out piece. It is nothing extraordinary, but it works well and finishes things off in a classic way. 4/5 --- Dawn by Lauge is a very strong progressive album with some amazing tracks. There are a few filler tracks as well, but what album these days doesn't have them. The best tracks on the album are Northbound and Wider Horizons. These two stand out from the rest due to their sheer emotional power. Of course, I wish that all tracks would have such an effect on me, but that's probably not possible. I just know that I will be listening to those two many times and never get tired. 4/5
  9. 3 acidic yet melodic Goa trance tracks. Hunt has begun...
  10. CODEXA offers you an auditory journey to the moon... I MOON 3 Mix : ABLASS Mastering : LUMIRIS (Paris) Release of the CODEXA album planned in December 2019
  11. Artist: Blue Hue Title: The Mandala Effect Label: Plateau 5 Records Date: January 1, 2019 Tracklist:- 1. Hitting Bowls 2. Positivictricity 3. Cosmic Interference 4. Mind Modem 5. Methamoprh 6. Mandala Effect 7. Dropping Society Ah summer time, where the sun flows through cities like gold, when cool nights are spent dancing under the ruby leaves while drinking iced tea made by the deities and spinning in our summer trappings. Condensation of diamonds forming on the outside of our glasses in while we were still free from the constraints of existence. I remember it so clearly, a better time. I'm certain. The Mandala Effect I can't tell you why this wasn't released by a bigger label than little old Plateau 5. I can't tell you why I haven't heard people talking about Blue Hue. I can tell why that should change right this second. With incredibly well produced lower ends, Driving rhythms, fun melodies and pretty bloody ripper album artwork if I may say so, The Mandala Effect makes for a worthy listen. Hitting Bowls starts the album off in cool style. the tibetan singing bowl sounds sends pure DMT into your head as it fills the space left by the other layers of the song. The melody floating in for the second half creates great energy and allows us to cruise through track. Positivictricity, go on, be honest with yourself, try and say that in one go. Another cruisy track is filled with soft layers that float around your head while the kickdrums pushes the track to it's final message about just being positive dammit! Cosmic Conference, the cosmos, home to all conferences known to life. Any conference ever had will happen right here, in our cosmos. Super clubby atmospheres and rumbles take this track into hyperdrive. The low end is THICK and fills the track with just enough space for the light high notes to sparkle along. The main lead melody could have been given a bit more emphasis but I aint saying i didn't enjoy it. Mind Modem brings us another big track that really blasts off at that 3:40 point. I was drifting through the first half of the track just having a daze then that break came and brought back to dance land. As Simon Cunninghurst would say 'Pretty dope' Methamorph this must be science for 'Absolute aggressive madness'. My favourite of all the extra clubby tracks. Super hot, I know it's true, no Mandala Effect here, just solid memory of a solid song. The Mandala Effect A longer track suggests to me that blue Hue has more ideas that he is willing to work with. And right I am, the main melody is super cool. Still light, but infectious. Dropping Society is the kind of track that starts and makes you think that you know what sort of song you are going to get. But as soon as the other layers start to seep in you quickly become lost in it's funkiness. Mandala Effect is a very very nice piece of art. The amalgamation of styles and techniques works really well here, resulting in more progressive club type tracks while remaining exciting for their entirety. The melodies are all cool, if not occasionally quiet but that's just the style of the album. this will be my next purchase for sure. It would be great to see more work released from Blue Hue. https://plateau5.bandcamp.com/album/the-mandala-effect

  14. TRANCEPORT THE MIND The Sanskrit word mantra is derived from man, meaning mind or thought and tra, meaning tool or instrument. A free translation would be "A tool to manipulate our mind". They say that the words train, travel and transportation comes also from the Sanskrit root tra. How come they didn’t mention trance ? This intriguing funny and rhetorical question was the inspiration for this new release. ........................................................................................................................................................... 17. It finally arrived! And.. well, what is there to say? This mega triple album fulfill all the excitement and the high expectations I had. It is just about perfect, or more than that! Disc 1 is a journey through the most epic and famous Ubar Tmar hits, wisely reworked, remastered and somehow remixed for this Encyclopedia of Psychedelic Trance. Many of us are familiar with all of them as they have been heard before, both in his albums and in his numerous YouTube videos (official and uploaded by Ubar himself, have a look on YT!). Personal favorites are Transformer Synthesizer, The Prophecy (awesome eastern melodies!!), 3d Heaven (marvelous), Yellow Yoga (dreamy and passionate) and Cosmo Drome (deeeeeeeep and epic closure to a fantastic CD), but ALL the tracks are execellent. 10/10 without any doubts. Disc 2 presents new material and what a blast it is!!! Track 1: the album starts with the phenomenal and unforgettable track that we used to know as RIPMDD but that has now a more appropriate title, Magickal Moments And Deep Light. Truly epic, mind-blowing and generating a spiraling concept into your head. Track 2, Second track,Takeru, it's an excellent remix of a Juno Reactor track and it is better than the original, surely more psychedelic. Track 3, Isis, is deep and entrancing, a bit nostalgic with some sad lines: just great. Track 4, Vitalizer, left me speechless, melodies going crazy, experimental stuff, almost industrial-alike but extremely captivating. Track 5, Hallelujah, it's a very interesting experiment, as I don't think that we heard that word in any psytrance track before and it has an interesting impact on it, contrasted by the distorted guitar sounds that give to this track something mystical, magical and somehow spiritual. Track 6, Mah Nishtanah is another typical Ubar track, wild, mystical and very well produced. I don't know the meaning of the title but is great with its vocoder effected spell into the middle of the track, just about right. Track 7, is Eejyanaika, and I am familiar with this track as it was posted on his soundcloud in various mixes and remixes but this final incarnation is surely the best produced and better sounding version, big thumbs up for the way it was finalized, atmospheric and very good. Track 8, Ono Love, is a chilled experimental track, very deep and magical, I love every second of it. All in all, this CD made me SO freaking happy, I really enjoyed this marvelous trip through the cosmic landscapes that Ubar can create. There is nobody that makes music like you do, I am really moved and so happy about this release. 10/10 Disc 3 the space prawn suite! yay... experimental crazy Ubar at its bestttt! There are intricate complex melodies, strange passages, wicked solutions and definitely an interest in expressing his wildest side. This one has to be heard from start to finish and it is a mental pycho trip, I don't want to describe each track because it is basically one only long track, subdivided in different moments: there is joy, chaos, anger, happiness and all in-within. 10/10 for the crazy ideas and the clever mental atmospheres! THIS is definitely THE ALBUM of the year, nothing can compare to this and nothing can equal it, sorry, that's just too magical and too perfect in every aspect, it has all you may want from psychedelic goa trance. BUY IT, I command you, the artwork is just awesome and the whole package seems to be a magical spell book rather than a musical album. The only side note I can add is that the album is entirely in Japanese and I wish I could read the booklet, but I can't. Hopefully some volunteer will translate it and post it here or somewhere...

  21. Hello there ! Check out my first self-released darkpsy album compiled from my first tracks made during several years in a BPM range of about 145-160: Tracklist: 1.A cup of tip coffee 04:00 2.Down the rabbit hall 07:01 3.Induced reflection 07:40 4.Wrong castle 06:33 5.Mad pacman 05:51 6.Reclaim your game 06:42 7.Wind substance 07:40 8.12 Moons - Alek Javel (Infest remix) 07:23 This album also got in Best of 2017 by beehy.pe and here's their review: An album by Nick Turashvili that possesses a very interesting sound: trance music with mostly minimal, kick-only beat and un-melodic, reverb-drenched, spatial synthesizers mostly leaving a pyrotechnic effect. It all leaves an ultrapsychedelic impression and renders the music quite unpredictable, thereby avoiding one of the major pitfalls of this genre. Recommended for people who enjoy the darker side of psychedelic trance. Listen: https://infest604.bandcamp.com/album/induced-reflection-4
