  1. I've been listening to my father's old vinyl records that he left me after his passing and I've been getting into a progressive rock band that goes by the name of its 3 band members Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and Carl Palmer (Emerson Lake & Palmer) also known as ELP... The Keyboardist (Keith Emerson) is unbelievable on the synthesizers. His use of the modular moog is second to none and is every bit as psychedelic as modern psytrance. Check out the song called "Tarkus".. the intro to that piece is ominous, foreboding, and beautiful... Its definitely not for everyone and it might not be of interest to anyone on this site but its definitely worth checking out.

  4. Hey guys. I'm working on a track called Psykka, and i'm planning on releasing it within april, so i would love if some of you would take a listen to it and say what you like and what you don't. The track is a rock inspired full on trance piece, and the guitars are recorded by the brazillian guitar guru Zakka. I originally called it Robotitis and had robotic voices here and there, but after i received the guitars from Zakka, the track formed into something totally different, and felt that the robot theme was wrongly stuffed into it, so inspired by Zakka, i renamed it Psykka. Hope you take a little time out to give some constructive critics as i really listen and have a goal about Noforix that it should be a community inspired project, and hope people want to join in on it. You can listen to the release candidate as it is here: https://soundcloud.com/noforix/psykka-release-candidate1 and this track will get updated as ideas come in, so the URL will never change for this release candiate.

  6. Who are the Federation? Well it's a group made up by Solarstone (who is quite famous in the trance scene) and Ben Lost (who did some tracks in the past with Solarstone and is currently working with Lost Language label company) along with other folks. They try to make trance music with rock, and to create a more darker mood than what Solarstone usually does (which in short is more of a happier mood). Here are some tracks: What do you guys think? It may not be a typical cup of tea of everyone else, but I have to say that I did enjoy the songs when I heard them. Some of the remixes of their songs are also pretty good.
