  1. ah, so damn exciting!!! there's quite a few of us going methinks, bout 8 probably!! :posford:
  2. It's not a web radio. my university has its own radio station and me and my mate are gonna start up a weekly show on it. they have a web broadcast so it can be listened to anywhere in the world
  3. I'm going to be starting one with a friend soon. although not just dedicated to psy trance but to all forms of (eclectic/underground) electronica. Will post the link when we get the show on the road :posford:
  4. excellent choices sir, and some nice progression going on too!!
  5. Not sure how long this has been on the net but... First time i've seen it and all i can say is... oh... my... god... talk about whetting one's appetite!
  6. This is an album that certainly stands itself out from the crowd of most of the psy trance that is being released these days, and most of the electro/electro house too. So for that it gets my due credit. As an album I don't think it's particularly mindblowing or fantastic, but it is certainly a whole lot of fun to listen and probably even more fun to dance to. Although not so much of a fan of the more generic full on stuff that it evolves into by the end of the album (apart from hoffman's watch which is cool). So in conclusion, if your expectations aren't too high and you just appreciate this album for what it is: a fun, funky album that will put a smile on your face then you won't be disappointed. 7/10 from me Favourites: 2, 3(!), 4, 5 (!!) and 7
  7. So I finally got around to getting this album, along with Ra's 9th which i haven't had time to listen to properly yet, based on the strength of the reviews here and I have to say that it definately lives up to the hype. Deep, spacey tunes with wonderful melodies make this an asbolutely perfect nighttime companion. Make sure you listen to it on a soundsytem with good bass or some good headphones though, otherwise much of the feel of the music is lost. This album stands along side the first two Aes Dana releases as my favourites in the spaced out trance genre. Great work!!
  8. Not sure about albums but artist wise check vex'd, drop the lime, elemental, and ital tek. Downloading mix now, looking forward to treating my ears with it
  9. +1 on nemo's last one But my current favourite would have to go to: Perfect Stranger - From Deep Hell to Deep Heaven Dark, groovy, psychedelic techno at its best Some other favourites: DJ Slater live in Morocco- great prog techno set with loads of energy. Euphoria & Rise by pr0fane. silky smooth prog trance sets Ace Ventura - Techno Delights - another great techno set from another great iboga member
  10. :posford: :posford: you know when in october its gonna be released?
  11. Those pics are absolutely amazing! Never been to a party with that much effort put in. The closest would probably have to be glade this year. All the white canvases you can see were covered by projections so the artwork was actually moving and changing whenever you looked at it.
  12. Exit eternity definately. Although i love the melodies in hammerhead too
  13. I've loving this genre lately! Loads of great stuff has been the UK festivals this summer. I'm especially enjoying the funky, retro electroish stuff, like Far too loud, Slackbaba's new stuff, Atomic Drop (can't wait for the debut) and the kind of stuff agent smith has been pumping out in his dj sets. Can anyone recommend anything else along these lines? Cheers in advance
  14. Poor choice on tricky cd, his worst one IMO For me it would have to be CD for physical, although i do prefer the feel of having vinyl but cds are just more convenient, usually cheaper and more widely available. And mp3 for digital as i have an ipod and take it everywhere with me
  15. haha, exactly the same happened to me. I wonder how many sales they lose by constantly delaying all their releases? And who wants to bet on how long this album will be delayed. I'm gonna go for 2 months.
  16. Yash, this is definately the most likely explanation Out of interest, does anyone know how well the suntrip releases go down on isratrance?
  17. Loving the new stuff guys, can't wait for the album and looking forward to catching you again at waveform!! Strange to see you're not playing at the twisted/liquid shpongle afterparty in october though, you guys would be absolutely perfect for that
  18. Yup, I think all of pr0fane's mixes are still online: Mixes Euphoria's the bottom one
  19. I thought so too after the first few listens. But now I definately rate it up there with the other 2. It's definately not as psychedelic as the first two, but I think it's their most imaginative and definately the most fun.
  20. Ahh tatsu, you're making me jealous!! I must do a walk like that loaded with all my favourite music soon. Just got to find a nice spot, it's difficult to find private and pitteresque places round where i live
  21. awesome, cheers rino. have a lot to check out
  22. All this talk over whats acid and what's not is confusing me All i know is that i love funky, screaming 303 lines, especially in techno. So which of the recommendations on here correspond to that?
  23. Ah yes, vibrasphere are certainly on my next-to-listen-to-whilst-tripping list. Along with tegma's Around the world in 80 minutes album. Need to check the AKD album, heard lots of good things about it, i'm sure it'll be right up my street! If you like techno infused prog then defo check out perfect stranger's albums on Iboga: learning=changed and his remix album changed if you don't have already, my favourite prog producer of the moment. Didnt think too much of antix's latest effort though, it's ok but compared to twin coast discovery it just simply doesn't compare!
  24. Got my ticket Any other psynewsers going to this ?
