  1. Hey Folks! Delighted to announce that the new EP from Zubzub, "Psy-Curious" is out now. You can get it from either Zubzub.co.uk or from Bandcamp. Check out our back-catalogue, which has all been significantly reduced in price. For those that don't know, Zubzub is one of many bands formed from the mighty Ozric Tentacles (others, of course, including Eat Static, Nodens Ictus, Dream Machine and Moksha, to name just a few!). Zubzub is the creation of long-time Ozric's former bassist, Zia Geelani. Zubzub are one of the leading live psychedelic dance acts in the UK, with music spanning many genres and an awesome reputation earned on the live circuit that has seen multiple performances at the likes of Glastonbury and Glade and headline appearances at Hadra (France) and the upcoming Eclipse Festival 2016 in Indonesia. You can hear any of our music from our long career at our bandcamp space and, of you like it, please buy it and continue to support independent music! :-) Onwards and Zubwards :-)
  2. Hey folks! 3. Hey folks - FREE exclusive download of the track "Conniption" from our new album "Primate" Conniption by Zubzub And here's what some of the cheeky monkeys have been saying about the new album "Mine is clambering all over my senses right now....Great production and mastering guys.....Well done ZubZub Excellent work we really love it" "Primate arrived. Just rinsed studio monitoring system. Brilliant music, love the twists and turns and fusion of genres, had me bouncing around the room. Have to say the engineering/mastering is spot-on; after just one play it's on my small list of 'system test' albums." "like always, it's a rich auditory tapestry, my kind of electronica, it's no wonder zubzub is one of the few complete cd collections that I have! " "bouncing round the room like an ape to Sacred Langur. This album isnt gonna be leaving the cd player, ipod, car stereo and headphones for a long time!"
  4. We do plan to have earlier albums available through the website soon. However, if you don't fancy waiting, email me at mindflux@zubzub.co.uk and I can sort you one out ;-) Onwards and zubwards!

  9. Thanks for the interest and positivity guys :-) Yohankiwi - we were asked to do the Shpongle party, but I was in India for 3 weeks (just got back yesterday), so it wasn't possible, I'm afraid. We are playing at InSpiral Café, Camden this Saturday (15th November) however, if you're up for it? BTW - The Powers That Beep is getting a digital release on 1st December - more details coming soon :-)
  10. Thanks for your kind words - glad you're enjoying it :posford: We thought we'd give you another, exclusive, sneak preview from the album - just head on over to our profile page at www.reverbnation.com/zubzub to have a listen to the dark, brooding "Geodesic" - a fine slab of psychedelic drum'n'bass that rolls in to dubstep and then tails off with some hefty dub. Enjoy!
  11. Hey guys! Glad you are enjoying our work Sorry to say that the album has been delayed slightly, to 1st August (but, that's only a few days away, so I hope that's ok with you! ;-)
  12. Hi DaZed, Arabesque is not the place to buy it from - they're the distributor and supply the retailers only Best to get it either direct from Liquid Records themselves, or one of the many online retailers who are stocking it...enjoy!
  13. Hey-ho folks! Hope you're all good! Well, what an amazing few weeks it has been for Zubzub - an absolutely incredible set on the Glade stage at Glastonbury (and I was fortunate enough to see one of the all-time great sets from Merv as Eat Static later on the same stage!) and an amazing gig in Guernsey last weekend, things really are bouncing along nicely :-) And, with just 2 weeks to go until the release of the new album, we thought we give you a sneak preview! You can listen to the full title track over at www.reverbnation.com/zubzub complete with ripping guitar from Alex Pym, sublime flutes from Jon Champignon Egan, live percussion and synths from yours truly and the masterful Zia Zub at the helm! We hope you like it :-)
  14. If you want to hear samples, GoaStore currently have them up http://www.goastore.ch/product_info.php?products_id=2463
  15. Yes, its here - our third album, "The Powers that Beep", on Mesmobeat, is ready for release on 25th July. ZUBZUB is the creation of long-time Ozric Tentacles bass player, Zia Geelani. After more than ten years (1991-2002) of widespread touring, writing, recording and producing with the Ozrics, Zia now concentrates full-time on crafting distinctive dance tunes, where the emphasis is on infectious grooves and strong production. ZUBZUB are; ZIA GEELANI (ex-Ozrics): Writing, production, programming, synths MARK "MINDFLUX" FLETCHER: Co-writing and production, synths, percussion JON “CHAMPIGNON” EGAN (ex-Ozrics): flute, ney, duduk, zorna ALEX PYM: electric guitar This album finds the group moving up a gear, both in terms of covering a breadth of new musical ground and being a more focused dancefloor-filler than the previous 2 outings. The new album is also a more band-oriented production, with the current line-up having gelled over the last two-years, through extensive performance on the live circuit - performances that have drawn rave reviews and a solid and cosmopolitan fanbase. "The Powers That Beep" is finding a wide-audience, as it twists and turns its way through a myriad electronica and dance styles, but with the continuity of the distinctive Zubzub vibe and sound weaving it together in to a cohesive whole. Its available for pre-order now, just visit our profile at www.reverbnation.com/zubub and click on "Store" for links to retailers where you can order it :-) We hope you enjoy it! (there's also music to listen to at our Reverbnation profile and, if you sign up as a fan, there is FREE music available too!) We're at festivals all around the UK all Summer, playing it out live, so hope to see some of you in the fields :-) Have fun!
