  1. I genuinely like the track here.
  2. Lots of names that I can't add in. Some spots likely to change as I re-listen to 2019. Uptempo 1. Dreamchild - Akashic Dreaming (Unreleased Goa Records): Beautiful and exciting style, has taken number 1 spot for longevity and sustained excitement. 2. Median Project - Constellation (Suntrip Records): Now Number 2 for most listens and taking this style of Goa to another level. 3. Va - Goa Gilde (Kali Earth Records): Still fresh in but listened enough to know this will stay in the list 4. Merr0w - Odysseus (Global Sect): After more listens this has moved up the list, another stellar advancement of skill. 5. Sykespico - Perspective (Suntrip Records): Could easily have been number 1 as well. Thick melodies abound. 6. Elysium - Live ...And Beyond (Digital Reprints): Filled with seriously groovy and fantastic trance music. 7. Psylent Buddhi - Secrets of the Atom (Suntrip Records): Everything that is good about Goa can be found in this album. 8. Pete & Pan - Return of the Goddess (Goa Madness Records): For originality and straight up enjoyment 9. Jaraluca - The Prologue (Mamomam Records): Craaaazy Trance music and a big progression in Jaraluca's skill and style. 10. Jagoa - The First Steps (Self-Release): Thoroughly worthy of a spot on the list, emotional, trance dancey & exciting. Downtempo 1. Lauge - Dawn (Iboga Records) 2. Shamanizm Parallelii - Blue Lizard (Neogoa Records) 3. Advanced Suite - TAKING MUSic in tHe ROOMS th&t DreaMT (Self Release) 4. Blisswave - Manvantara (Melusine Records) 5. Va - Ethnomystica (Mystic Sound Records) 6. Bosa - Eyes of The Jaguar (Self-Release) 7. Zen baboon - Origiro (Self-Release)
  3. I'm not against the railroad theory, someone rich is definitely going to benefit from this. And there will be a politician by their side. Satellite energy weapons though? Sounds complicated, are these real things? They will fuck the rail way system up anyway, NSW is notoriously bad at infrastructural decisions.
  4. Can one of you oldies go ahead and do that already thanks? Maybe do it with a little gusto. I've lost like 3 unsaved word docs with my list.
  5. You wanna talk about stupid politicians... This is a copy and paste from a story I that was just brought to my attention. It might take a while to read and not be interesting to everyone but it explains the shit-fuckery of our government very very clearly. """While his comments can be attributed to a mistake, what is absolutely disgusting is that the Liberal Party has been waging psychological warfare with a toxic disinformation campaign online. The past few weeks have seen a tsunami of hateful and bigoted posts from mostly bot accounts paid for and run by the Liberal Party as a response to the heat they are feeling over the climate change bush fire disaster. If you're wondering where all these invective deflections and diversions are coming from it is a open secret that the Liberal Party is using the PR/information warfare firm Topham Guerin to wage a disinformation campaign online to take the heat off their unpopularity and culpability in this disaster (two decades of shutting down any program that would have helped in the fire disaster such as closing the climate change commission, funding for Rural Fire Service, funding for national parks to manage fuel loads, rejecting experts demanding aerial firefighting equipment, the list is endless) Let me make this clear, in the midst of the death and carnage and anger from the electorate on so many incompetent acts that they are more concerned with their popularity than with responsible governance. How is it appropriate that as this disaster unfolds the LNP decided to respond with psychological warfare to anger and deceive the Australian community with this toxic disinformation campaign? During a climate change disaster, this climate change denying Govt has embarked on a disinformation campaign on facebook etc coupled with some assistance from the Murdoch press spreading this disinformation. I am flabbergasted this not front page news that should end the Government. Australians are just starting to realise that there has been odd behavior on their social media platforms in the last couple weeks and its attributed to an intensive election style Cambridge Analytica rote psychological warfare and this has been widely documented. https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2020/jan/08/australia-where-lies-and-conspiracy-theories-spread-like-bushfire """" ... There is more but i'll spare you. @astralprojection Read this amigo, it might be some of the stuff you have been getting info from.
  6. Haha, I'm here, an Australian, in Australia, letting you know, that atleast 70% are natural causes. I never used the 'climate' word to argue one way or another, i'm just saying that this naturally happens every year and this year is far worse. It's why we have a fire season. Natural fires have happened long before humans began eating fish, to say that they aren't natural is completely incorrect.
  7. Like I said, 13-30%, that is the standard range. It's been reported in the Aus media, gleefully actually because they could take the focus away from climate change. Climate change is being argued on 2 different basis. 1. Hottest & driest season of winter - summer we have seen in decades. This is true, make of it what you will. 2. A nearly 30 year drought that has also coincided with our dickhead government (Remember them) that has been selling our ground water to cotton farmers and international mega corporations at the expense of every other farmer, ecosystems and rural towns. Australia's water management is not the worst thing our govt does but it's pretty close.
  8. Hey @remnant, The situation is pretty bad, the scale of the 140 + blazes is pretty wild. Smoke covers sydney and canberra most days and even gets blown down the south to cover melbourne when the wind permits. It reached New Zealand and now im told south America. The animal situation is shocking and hard to wrap your head around. The majority of social media is blaming the Prime Minister which is kind of fair enough because he is a bureaucratic dick whose first instinct when returning from a holiday was to go and get photo ops in burnt down towns. That went very badly for him, he was pretty much chased out of town. He also ignored calls from emergency service leaders 18 months ago to have a meeting. State govts have also been cutting the budget for land management. https://reddit.app.link/z53Fkzz962 Our politicians can be blamed for a lot but not everything. Something like 13-30% of fires are lit by arsonists every season, they dont have the numbers yet but this is likely to be the same. At 2pm in most places in NSW the sky turns orange, everything looks like it has a sepia filter on it. We are looking at few deaths as evacuation methods have improved since the last version of this a few years ago. Something my swedish father in law asked was 'you guys have this fire season every year, how has figuring out how to stopnit ASAP not been a priority'? Good question imo. I think the stat is something like: 1% of land clearing in 1 state alone costs about 22 million big ones. We have the money in all honesty, just not the political fortitude.
  9. @Aspartic Excitaxory, a few of clementz' tracks, Ra & phobium might suit your needs. But mostly it is crazy raw supa trance. Personally im leaning towards this being one of the best compilations ive heard. Probably equal to my love for VA - Terraformer. Angry Dwarf and Material Music stand out here but i think everyone shines.
  10. Wowza Are you just super nice and giving this away for free because of that? I would buy this no doubt. And its not all about money, I only mention that to let you know that from my point of view this is a pretty valuable giveaway. Thanks Jara.
  11. You wouldn't even begin to know how much thought I've put into you over the last few months.
  12. Damn gang, its really hard to describe how good this release is. Im going to have to go back through the history so i can get a bigger picture of the time this took to put together. Hard hitting trancey Psychedelic Goa, i encourage everyone reading this to hit this release up.
  13. Happy New Year to all the posters and the lurkers. +100

I didn't read the last page of this and went to comment. Need to edit for the last of the shit I just saw. You both seem to want people to like you but position yourselves against a whole bunch of people, thus limiting your chances of being liked. Kinda needa figure what you really want. Hope you're doing OK Psychedelic Superbeast. Good to see you back here (minus the shithouse comments which could be jokes, I don't know anymore)

But I listen to just as much as you amigo. Now I have Spotify, so even artists I wouldn't normally purchase I still get to listen to. Once twice, whatever. Also you should play in party. How else do you justify your listening habits. Go spread good psy to the world. Do us all a favour.
  16. A list would be easier. Atlantis Artha (Surely due for a new album) Mindsphere Skarma Javi & Skooma or either of them solo Hypnoxock Omegahertz And I think most anticipated would be a Goasia release.
  17. Wow Thanks for bringing this to my attention. So many Adjectives can be used to describe this album. It’s part wicked, part playful, part hard, and most of all very psychedelic. It really does deserve to be called psytrance. The track with Sienna was probably my favourite for the vocal play. The rest of the tracks are similar enough that I would need a few more careful listens to pick favourites from each other. But that’s not a bad thing as each track is exactly what I want from Psytrance. I can push shuffle and know I’m going to get something good. The only track that I need to grow on me is the Hux Flux track which can quite frankly suck my toes. I might like it in the future, I might never try who knows, who cares, I am but 1 man in a crowd of billions. Very nice release and reignited a little spark inside of me for this type of well produced hard and heavy psytrance.
  18. If you're gonna take Ra off the table i'd take a phreak by nature, clementz or a lemurian track. It could be like the 12 days of Christmas
  19. I've actually just discovered Menog for the first time and he has blown my mind. Your tracks really decent, disappointed when it was over.
  20. What's the protocol here? 1998 review section or 2019? When I.F.O came out we considered that a 2015 release. Akashic Dreaming has had a remaster yea? Jaroslov's recent work right? No way this sounded so bad ass in 1998. I suppose we can call it a 2019 release then? Same goes for all of Classic Goa Trax and the rest of the Unreleased Goa Records catalogue? Maybe there is a better place to ask this, but 2 birds with one stone is my kinda shtyle, and you can't block my Shtyle. 'HMMMZZZZEEEEER! There was a compliment in there, so I guess part of that was relevant to the conversation. That compliment was there for a reason, this is super funky and well produced Goa that sounds like it lives in 2019. Artist: DreamChild Title: Akashic Dreaming Label: Unreleased Goa Records Date: 8 October 2019 Arcania Organic Nova Systen Shock FoxGlove Digital Mantra Fractal Amoeba Spiritual Flux Manta Ray With an album cover that would make Har-el cry, Unreleased Goa Records presents DreamChild - Akashic Dreaming. We not only have two artists that like diving dolphins, but two major labels dedicated to finding unreleased goodies from a time before the present. Akashic Dreaming is a wonderfully titled title. Each track contains elements of pure trance, Dreamy ambient breaks, exciting climaxes and heavy synths that twist and spin with other melodies. Arcania starts off lovely and sweet before giving us the dancing melodies and sweet ambient breaks. the track goes from light to dark and back again just wonderfully, a real spiritual treat. Organic Nova is so far my listened to track. Super funky, and cool. Yes there is a weak lispy melody does come in at 2:30 but gets made up for 30 seconds later. The rest of the track is a big old hoedown with metallic melodies slut dropping it low, Graceful ambient in a wet t-shirt competition, climaxes of firefighting strippers ripping their protective gear off, bass lines fucking in the cubicle, then the whole track pops a molly that hits right as we all thought the fun was over. Powerful final act. System Shock You would think that Dreamchild wouldn't be able to catch me in dreamy breaks as often as he does but that's exactly what happens. This time only a minute into the track and before I knew it I was blasting out of a smooth tumble dryer filled with warm towels into dance land. A complete anthem that gets me again 3 minutes later. The acts are so huge that you just assume it's all over when the drapes of warm towels are gently placed over you. A lull into safety that you want to always be there, but that's not what this crazy life has planned for you. Back into the dance lands we get sent again and again, a system shock. FoxGlove Only a 16 year old bmx rider would have the right word for this track and it would be 'Rusty':- Bruh! A little more low-key and freaky than what i've heard so far and it works. Dreamchild has great range in music but it all feels distinctly him by the sweet treatment that he gives to those breaks and the growing of a track right to the end. It feels like if he didn't have to wrap his tracks up he wouldn't. Digital Mantra is just incredible digital funk and Mantrafuls of fun, the cyber feel and electric melodies all create quite the show. This track would put Michael-Faraday-the-father-of-electronics-as-told-by-Charles-Ludwig into cardiac arrest. The final act really takes the track to another stage and makes sure that you keep flying upwards, you would think I would be use to this by now but every climax comes with a big beautiful surprise. Possibly the best track here but fuck it they are all good. Fractal Amoeba uses its big fat lead to kick the track right off into dimension 6's synthetic world. As melodic layers pile on onto one another, the track beams forward through the higloops and ding-globs that glitter this landscape, like silken mountains of fin-glum. Sweet ambient background noises manage to find their way back into the track giving us beautiful break after beautiful break. Spiritual Flux has the kind of title that I expect crazy stuff to from. The intro is promising and dark, a different direction, a theme, right from the beginning Spiritual Flux is ticking boxes. Boxes getting ticked all over to be honest. Spiritual Flux stays focused and badass to the end with another big moment in the final act, explosions of dark energy that grow into big bad monsters. Manta Ray brings us back to the light. The beautiful midway break lifts me into a state of mind that Mike Tyson must have felt when he realised he could become a legal grower, and then the climax of that break catches me in the face like a left hook from Tyson in 87. Well shit that wraps it up. the 2019 re-release and remaster? of Akashic Dreaming By Dreamchild. What a damn hecking nice experience each one of these tracks gives you. Thanks to Unreleased Goa Records I now know about a badass producer with an infectious shtoyle thanks to this release. I absolutely love (If you cant tell) the attention to the break that isn't just another nice part of his music but a tool that creates all sorts of emotional changes in your psyche, ambient that somehow transports you to another state while building a climax that I personally didn't see coming each time. What a wonder this would be on a dancefloor. I imagine artists don't just give their tracks away to anybody. Suntrip, DAT Records and any else doing this have built a reputation for themselves as the sort of people that can be trusted to preserve and bring forward albums that otherwise may have been lost in time and hazey LSD memories. I don't care what the Russians are saying on Psymusic.ru this is good work. I have another Non album related inappropriately placed question for Unreleased Goa Records, does any one purchase your album from Beatport? How has that site survived so long? I bought my first album from them the other week and couldn't believe the amount of things I found to bitch about during the process. To me Bandcamp has become synonymous with the Goa scene. Links for both https://unreleasedgoarecords.bandcamp.com/album/akashic-dreaming https://www.beatport.com/release/akashic-dreaming/2746506
  21. Psykovsky's renown makes no sense to me. Maybe I need to do something different but it's mostly him playing super fast flick kicks over background noises that are finely produced, but I wouldn't call it unreal. I've been listening to Na Ve Ka all morning and im not sure. I just don't know. I know its all subjective and yada yada but the claim that his music is one of the best produced music, I can't say I see it. lots of sounds he uses are piercing and the beats make me feel kinda mad. My coupla cents.
  22. Ooh, new Skeletone track. I always wonder about those comparison graphs that show modern music exceeding the range of the screen. Eg:- But also wonder if the range that modern music operates in has a wider boundary/sound stage so those images don't do it justice. Any way I think definitely music is getting louder, ears ringing from all electro clubs I visit is super common these days. Sometimes really shit sounds that I don't want to hear fill the room and make me wince... Eherm, Techno Smoke machine sweep noise. That brings me to another point. The techno smoke machine sweep noise can suck my balls. I've heard lots about the loudness wars, seems like a legit thing. Tell you what i've never seen, a video that says my ears are getting old and music is the same volume. What else would they be making new speakers for? You can tell your friend that Tsotsi says he is wrong.
  23. Damn, poor Radi, he got savaged. lol page 2 & 3 is where it's at, how did so much happen in 2 pages? So Astrancer never released an album, I can't find a collection of his singles anywhere, Radi has left us, Goa just got better and better post 2012.
