  1. Samples @ saikosounds. Granted, haven't been that much interested in trance atm but the mandalavandalz track sounded good. http://saikosounds.com/english/display_release.asp?id=7018
  2. Iirc psychedelic refers to something that "shows the soul" In this day and age and in this "culture" it has been demoted to a buzzword for complex and often messy music. Focusing on "aural overload" as compared to the so called "psychedelic" artists who try to portray the hallucinogenic intoxication state in their paintings/drawings/multimedia crap etc... As to the topic starter, find out for yourself.
  3. Mantaray is Ray Castle, so ofc it's good
  4. I haven't been to many parties but I did attend a few last autumn. -Crap music, Dark psy, yuck. -Fairly young people super fucked-up on drugs like speed and ghb, not nice to see kids totally bombed out of their skulls. -Also said kids seem to consider a goa/psy/whatever party, especially since they are usually held in more underground venues with not so much security compared to e.g a night club, just a place where they can do as much drugs as possible. -Theft at parties, another example of the gimps in action.
  5. Meh mp3 release. No 12", Is exogenic on the skids or something ?
  6. Run for your life dude.
  7. Just listened through it while having a few brews and my impressions haven't changed much. It's a very skillfully crafted, slightly boring album of idm and rock-tinged electronica. "Ribbon on a branch" is still nice, good melancholy pop song. Sleepwalker 1&2 are filler, the intro of "I am a freak" is downright embarrassing. If they release it as a 12" single I'll probably buy it. Miles better than anything that has come from the Twisted camp since shpongle's 1st one though
  8. "The Source Energy" is a brilliant song off this album.
  9. This 3rd version was much better, beefier sounds, etc... keep it up.
  10. Ahh my feelings exactly, listened to it for a couple of times again this evening and I have to say it's quite forgettable.
  11. Listened through it a couple of times now, Ribbon On A Branch is tops, otherwise quite forgettable.
  12. ^that's a good track, although poisonmachine is a weak album in its entirety imo, my fave from that album has to be"Swinged Cow" tho /me np Bassoradio 102.8 drum and bass
  13. *edit* look at their site, it's sold out. http://freakdancerecords.net/english/mp3.html ^besides they also have it as free mp3's
  14. Good call to post this over here also, this is gonna kick all kinds of ass
  15. Well this gets a little obscure but this 12" EP of Finnish comedy gangsta rap act Notkea Rotta has a techno remix by Pentti Slayer of Texas Faggott fame. http://www.discogs.com/release/338284 Dunno how it can be obtained but the song is ace *edit* Dunno if you already have it but the 1st freakdance compilation is very nice http://www.discogs.com/release/186632 Sörkkä sonic might be pretty hard to find, it was released 96 and I wager it never had proper distribution outside Finland.
  16. G.A.D - Apollo 3d VA - Bliss Point
  17. Go to freakdance records' homepage and find some contact mail address so that you can tell them your problem?

  19. The Visitors - Good Vibes Snake Thing - Scorch Mandalavandalz - The Descent Eat Static - Interceptor Eat Static - City Of Sin
  20. Yeah, it's a classic all right. Other songs that I consider to be proto-goa are The Visions Of Shiva' "Perfect Day" and "How Much Can You Take (Physical)" Imo trance was great in the mid nineties with labels like Rising High, etc... then it turned into cheese.
