  1. OK, now seriously. What the fuck did I just read?
  2. The City Of Moons took a well deserved #1. The downtempo section is a sad affair indeed, barely any votes this year, oh well.
  3. It seems that what people are getting at here is that the sounds weren't originally sampled by you. I don't think anyone's accusing you of illegalities*, or denying the amount of work you put into processing the sounds to fit your own productions. The original source of the samples is just left a bit unclear. * edit: as long as the EULA of the original samples doesn't explicitly forbid redistribution and/or reprocessing.
  4. Your guess is surprisingly correct Thanks
  5. Somewhere towards the end of the set, one of the organizers came up to me and said something along the lines of "man, there's some freaky shit going on on the dancefloor, keep it up"
  6. Here's my set from last weekend's party in Jyväskylä, Finland. I was asked to play something a bit darker/edgier, which actually goes quite well with my current mood. Maybe I overstepped the "a bit" part of the request, take a listen and decide for yourself :DD Tracklist: Proxeeus - Fhtagn No More Javi - The Forest Masters Aerosis - Zen Hyperbabble Shakta - Of The Essence Xenomorph - Tzelmavet Kadasarva - Trylon And Perisphere Koxbox - No More Ghosts Slide - Waking Up To Chaos Hallucinogen - Trancespotter MFG - Voices Morphic Resonance - In The Mouth Of Madness The Delta - Thing
  7. Well this certainly was unexpected (or then I'm just too detached from all the social media hubbub these days). Here's to hoping for a pleasant surprise
  8. Seriously being serious in a nhjo topic for once; the best fullon track ever made:
  9. Assuming you invent a time machine first
  10. Has anyone else noticed the striking similarity between the main melodies in Circles and Lepton Head?
  11. Is it just me or do most recent Ultimae releases sound pretty much the same? Feels like it's the same clicky IDM downtempo over and over again. A bit like the majority of Altar records releases that's the same slowed down clinical kbbb prog over and over again no matter what artist you're listening to.
  12. ME and ME2 are in my Steam library, but somehow I haven't had the motivation to actually start playing them yet (got them in some Steam sale for 5€ or so).
  13. Looks like I have the original (unprocessed) samples as part of a huge drum samples package I downloaded some years ago (at least those Roland machines match with the sample folders I have) Maybe I'll get some use of these, probably not...because inspiration: zero :DD
  14. Err, no. Simon Posford + Nick Barber.
  15. Too bad neither Sean Williams nor Pete Martin are into the psy/goa trance scene anymore (apparently it took quite a bit of convincing to have Sean on a track on Nervasystem's Brainradio album).
  16. Hearts of Stone was a bit meh, but Blood & Wine is freaking AWESOME. This is how you do DLCs. Anyway, my playthrough of the entire Witcher trilogy was about 460 hours (finished Blood & Wine around november/december or so). Currently I'm twisting my brain with The Witness. Very much recommended.
  17. GNOTR - Klunk, perhaps? That crazy giggling starts at about 4:20
  18. I think it's this one: https://www.discogs.com/Various-Youth-In-Dub-Orchestra-Mystique/release/199881
  19. This gives me an idea for a thread (to be posted a bit later)
