    V/A - Violent Reaction

I like the Xeno, Parasense lite, and Triskell tracks on here...
  4. Scorb, RAM, NRS.. some Damage, Slum..
  5. Try the first three album from Infected Mushroom. There are some similar tracks on compilations from Sundance Records (the label that put out Talpa, Nystagmus, and Planum albums) Also, a track by Intriga on the recent 'Lost in Forests' mp3 compilation is in that similar style.
  6. They usually mean the same thing, afaik. Live PA is more of an IDM/techno term than psy.
  7. Quasar album (March) Fractal Cowboys/Manyface split album Onnomon new album coming sometime this year as well.
  8. I didn't say it sounds like Moon Unit. I said that, in my opinion, it's the best psychedelic v/a SINCE Moon Unit. Though Moon Unit has a quite bit more variety in the styles, and is more interesting to listen to overall.

    V/A - Neo::Caine

There's not a single edge anywhere in this comp. Melodic morning trance through and through. The word that comes to mind here is "boneless," I don't know exactly why.

    V/A - Violent Reaction

I actually like it more than any of the other comps from the new Acidance. v/a Dirty South had some nice moments, but this one is more even in overall quality.
  11. unfortunately, you aren't quite as good an indicator as some others..
  12. useful to know that if certain people like a certain album, I should probably avoid it like the plague. j/k
  13. lots of obvious on top of lots of bullshit, with a crappy soundtrack = recipe for popular success. i forgot to add 'lots of anger' here..
  14. actually I think a lot of his tracks are brilliant, and groundbreaking - more than from any other psy artist in the 90s. But of course not everything he's made is great - there are some mediocre tracks as well.
  15. Don't know about Hallucinogen being overrated, but topics about it/him definitely are. also, I think LSD is not that great of a track - definitely the most accessible though, and remixed enough times to be very well known.
  16. this is more like a promo, no? or actually supa unr. killargh? I thought I heard some weird bleeps in there, which would mean.. promo?
  17. The Psyfactor album is pretty aggressive.
  18. lol you probably like the latest Artifact album better than the brilliant first one, right? oh well, to each their own.
  19. so my Cryptic Crunch vinyl is worth big money? sweet..
  20. hehe.. try going to a bar and asking if you can have a bottle of rare vintage fine wine for a free tasting.
  21. you are mistaken. there are many releases that are not available for download on p2p. probably at least a third, if not more, of the vinyls I own are not on there, and I don't have that much.
  22. it's nice that some things are more precious than others.. one of the best human inventions ever.
