  1. Jean Michel was already making marvellous electronic music before you were born If you like good old ambient or synth music then you will not be disappointed by his early stuff. Oxygene and Equinoxe ... all good old-fashioned but very nice sounding. I like them. And finally this could be a point where you start buying albums, Radi: I found the above mentioned albums on vinyl for just 2 Euros each. They're so old they often get found in attic cleanups and then sold on flea markets for a ridiculously low price - and the same is valid for the record player itself (record player, no direct drive technics turntable, you hear me?). Go for it
  2. good one
  3. heeey, cool, didn't think there were so many
  4. Kaklakariada = a song from Attwenger (my favourite austrian band). It is austrian dialect for "kein Kleinkarierter", which means "no small minded/narrowminded/pettifogging dude" ("kleinkariert" means much...) Kaklakariada, Kaklakariada konn da irgendwos dazöhn wos stimmt, Kaklakariada, der die Hosn ned glei voi hot, wenn irgendwos passiert is, wos a söba ned vasteht.
  5. what would you have said if somebody would have told you this exact thing in the past ... I'm just thinking about that right now... adapt this exact issue with past and now to everything you are thinking and saying now aswell - it should be a lesson to you!
  6. the reason why nobody in the psy scene does release albums in Dolby 5.1: the average hippie can't afford a Dolby 5.1 sound system and CDJs don't play it I think Jean Michel Jarre did it with his album "Aero" though ... just to mention it.
  7. Which tracks that you know have samples from Computergames? I'd like to know some more cool ones. I know the following: Silicon Sound - Shodan: sample from the "System Shock" series. Silicon Sound - Jupiter 8: samples from "Unreal II: The Awakening" ("Remember now: search and rescue. No rough stuff!" - "Eat that, space monkey!", "Die you monkey freaks!" ... all from the first mission in the game).
  8. London, eh? If I can score an one Euro flight there and back (no joke, airport taxes not included though, but it will still be hella cheap!), then I even think about going!
  9. I absolutely agree on that. The track is quite good despite I generally don't like Shpongle so much anyway, but when the samba starts I just wanna puke...
  10. In Vienna Solar Fields & Aes Dana, both live CAN'T WAIT!
  11. Shpongle - Beija Flor shame on you ... I am not even a posford fan and know that
  12. I too made a trade with Pedrop. Can only second everybody's sayings and would totally recommend the guy. It went all smooth and uncomplicated. Stuff arrived well and I didn't wait for long. Nothing more to say, I'm absolutely happy and the price was cheap! Thanks again for everything and I'll surely do it again if there's something that interests me
  13. Not really. There is not that much psy from Austria anyway...
  14. As I had 3000 posts I didn't even notice it... I noticed it at 3008 ... "oh, custom title time"
  15. I might check that out... btw ... the cover looks very nice
  16. whenever I buy one or many CDs I make a pile of them on my table and only put them in the shelf when I have listened to them once...
  17. unfortunately some of them do UNFORTUNATELY
  18. this is awesome! and actually pretty simple as Stalker explained it... cool
  19. yes. no. no.
  20. I think he means birth year of the artists ???
  21. I would buy a mixtape any time if I could - if it was a good one. And not only mixtapes ... I also still buy real albums on cassette tapes (legally released ones, not illegal copies!). Last week I found Front Line Assembly - Monument cassette tape (still sealed) for 4,50 Euro...
  22. heh ... I didn't mean it this way I meant the way chicks are dressed. Overall dress trend in clubs that play house music is more "elegant" - although "elegant" isn't the right word ... but I mean that on house gigs there is the tendency that chicks are more dressed up, you know ... and actually not only the chicks, but the male audience too - ... I mean, one can't generalze everything like that, I know, but the overall trend is certainly visible. House style is rather dressed up, Trance/Techno style is rather chav and Psy style is rather hippie. Exceptions everywhere of course - and of course this should in no way be a generalisation
  23. but the Yahel cover is gay, say what you want
