Schallusion - Morphologic Tales (Free Album)
Penzoline replied to Till Eulenspiegel's topic in Free Music Promotion
Yes the cover does no justice to the innards! This is amazing goapsy. First track kinda reminds me of Jikkenteki with the long duration, it keeps evolving. -
Schallusion - Morphologic Tales (Free Album)

Listening to first track and I'm pleasantly surprised! Good stuff here! Edit: Wow this is detailed and damn finely crafted goapsy. Crossover is faking epic! -
I'd buy one dedicated just for goa of the 90s. Someone should make one!

Which artist/group has the best lead synths?
Penzoline replied to Ormion's topic in General Psytrance
Ah yes! http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAiTXxzQ47s I love the rawness of Sky Input synths. Heliopolis had some nice ones, too. No other synths have made my hair stand up like Sky Input had. It was like orgasms in my ear. -
Let me get back to you on that! I need to do a few more test prints.

Ahead of it's time? Timeless. Never having a time - always being in a time. Many of the old school compositions will never wither because of their incredible depth and complexity. Not at this rate anyway. I almost believe some of it was from another star cluster. Pleiades? Who knows. It's unfortunate, or fortunate, that not many will witness what we have. Or maybe it's just a bunch of electronic noises and bleeps and we are just crazy. I don't know.

Not a bad idea. Let me forward this.

I cannot stress enough how surprised I was with this release. There's variety - we range Crossing Mind's beauty to Ezcapes space warps to ToïDoï's wondrous dark spirals, there's fresh ideas and a spirit from old school days to some degree. The sound work is not only the superfluous melody after melody. There's also injections of psychedelia and tribalism you also find on old school comps. Case to the point - ToïDoï, Ezcape, SETI Project, Ephedra. Now it is not all perfect, I found Celestial Intelligence, Lunar Dawn and BlackStarFinale to be on the generic side whilst still outputting good ideas, but 7/10 on the very good side and from that 4 on the awesome side is a feat on it's own. UAF's strongest release yet.

I'm not an expert on this but... From new school, I fucking LOVE Sky Input Synths. They're so raw and spacey. Also Radical Distortions acid/rattle is awesome but it is not utilized to its full potential imo. From old school, of course MFG all albums. The first two are more nitzo and then it just gets radical!
