  1. Mrun and cronomi. I absolutely adore and love your musical talent, don't think otherwise. But.. Where was colin? I'm sorry but this has been a huge problem for me ever since the release. Where was the icing on the cake? Sure the cake is tasty and all, but it lacks that top flavour that makes it spark. It's not here. No matter how amazing you are at writing music, if you are not a masterer with many, many albums under you, it just won't be as good. This mastering is not bad, but it's also flat. The explosive colourfullness, deepness and richness of Erta Alé are gone. You traded a little bit of money for mastering that won't survive through the ages. You have it all there except.. that. The highs and lows just merge with so much of the mids. And the mids are all on the same level no matter. I'll buy an OOOD master version for 50 euros. Digital only, even.
  2. All labels take a note. This is not how you do mastering. If you want to ruin tracks, do it on your own, do not bring fans - or as some would prefer; consumers to the fray. Oh and apparently the label, and so far, 2 artists (Ra, RD), had some problems with payments? Disgusting.
  3. Really I think the only problem this album ended up having was the tracks selected for the EP were better than several here. I rather have those Classics like DNA and Astral Body here than there. Especially DNA, what was the thought-process of not involving the BIGGEST Artha track ever in the main album? A little iffy, I must say.
  4. MassEnergySpaceTime E.P. What wonderful tunes!

No but I saw looper. It's very minimal scifi but brilliant nonetheless!
  6. I thought there was gonna be another lost buddha album or something but nothing happened? The last 2 releases were absolutely great, Zelur Project - Sounds Of Cosmic Lifeforms (buy it!!!) and Lost Buddha untold stories live version.. but last release was a year ago?
  7. Elias would like to apologize for delays. The mastering and artwork are both done so eagelry waiting how long itll take beatspace to get it out now. And on my signature youll find a promotional banner.. it's the first I've ever done lol.
  8. Oh my I didn't notice! Woot it works nao!
  9. You, sir, disgust me!
  10. I am loving this Sleeping Buddha stuff! I wants a full album now
  11. Pretty good comp. Absolutely loved the Hypnotic Signal track, really epic melodies toward the end. Other notables were Artifact303's ender and Filterias track, although it felt too much like Earthrise at parts..
  12. More of an experiemental VA from the times when full-on and other ebm genre influences started streaming into our psytrance. Overall too noisy and techno-influenced whilst having a couple of notable tracks. Only reason to even bother digging this up and commenting is this timeless masterpiece of a driving cyberpunk track. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaTwoupMYUk There's also the wizzy noise and absolum tracks which are nice, but otherwise this release is not worth a recommendation.
  13. lol at the drama! Well I'm still interested. Anyone wanna sell one, hit me a pm.
  14. http://www.ektoplazm...i#comment-40801 01 - Yeheuan Filters (73 BPM) 02 - Ridden By The Loa (66 BPM) 03 - The Construct Oxylerator III (136 BPM) 04 - Modus Operandi (140 BPM) 05 - Mindsweeper (142 BPM) 06 - Wintermute (140 BPM) 07 - Business End (134 BPM) 08 - Made Up Mind (130 BPM) 09 - MetaMusic (Reified Mix) (132 BPM) 10 - Simstim (65 BPM) 11 - Enlightenment Cut (60 BPM) 12 - ConunDrum (110 BPM) Ektoplazm is proud to present Modus Operandi, the long-awaited debut album by Danish producer Amygdala (Andreas Riemer Christensen). Returning to the futuristic sonic dystopia of The Sprawl (2009), Amygdala brings us further into his musical vision of the classic cyberpunk aesthetic defined in William Gibson’s Neuromancer. Blending old school Goa trance with contemporary electronic music influences, Amygdala conjures a unique cinematic style designed to mentally transport the listener to an imaginary high-tech cityscape populated by cyborg mercenaries, corporate spies, and artificial intelligences. Mastered by Colin Bennun @ The Stooodio, U.K., with photography and design by Alexander Synaptic. Guys! Amygdala with mastering by colin oood??? Album of the year at the very last day of 2012? Quite possibly! I don't know if you remember but his earlier tracks on various compilations, including the psynews contest one, were absolutely fantastic!
  15. Ah I had totally forgotten Luminus had 2 main albums. I frikkin love his track on Trance Generations 4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVRsEdayuaw Ima have to check the main albums now
  16. Compared to their previous, immaculately solid and refreshing Out Of This World, this album is nowhere near it. It feels like rehashing old material whilst trying to be edgy with a more minimalistic view. Nothing stuck in my mind unlike most tracks in Out Of This World, maybe mostly due the lack of good memorable melodies. Especially the collaborations were just meh. Biggest disappointment of the year, hands down.

  19. Fixed link for you. This forum software is so dumb sometimes. And thanks, you should post mixes more often. We all know you've made more mixes than there are days in 10 years lol.
