  1. Downloading this. BTW why don't you vary your BPM? If you do disregard that comment (I'm still dling atm) BTW... Sendspace is better yes... but it still sucks. Use filefront or something else. Sendspace sometimes randomly doesn't let you use "the free downloading service" and it has pretty bad download speed. 3/4 of the way through the main thing. WOW GREAT TRACKS! Lots of different baselines... all of them amazing... from the Alcyone really funky one to the classic Goa heavy kickdrum and great flow too. Looking forward to next mix of yours (and ofcourse hearing the rest of this one!) Time to check out your productions after this. The after hours stuff is equally interesting!
  2. Hey nice to hear so many good comments. Anyone have any suggestions for improvement? How did you guys think that drop in 4 BPM went? It was a daring move but I think I pulled it off well (Starting off with 3 speedy tracks then gradually building up to that tempo throughout the mix).
  3. I assume from your statement that techno fm is not primarily a techno station and the original creater thought that techno refered to all electronic styles. Even if it isn't that way... it looks like that might be the case due to most people thinking that techno means anything electronic. Based on first impressions that's a pretty bad first impression. Might be a minor point but it isn't something good in the long run. Good luck with it regardless.
  4. Is it just me or does MFG-When we dream go weird after the break? Like I think it changes key or something... the notes all seem slightly higher and it's a bit faster? Does it change key and BPM or something? It allways sounds really weird to me after the break.
  5. That's psychedelic mind expander. I was gonna say that too but I had the good sense too look at where the links pointed.
  6. Really liked destination Goa but could never get into the Space pussy track. It was like the one song I didn't like on Destination Goa 2.
  7. Damn that's unfortunate... cos the hdd with this on it died recently. I'll have to do the actual mixing again. Will post filefront link here then. [Edit] Doing the mixing again as I type... will upload it after it's done and post new post (didn't think saying this was worth a bump) My nets a bit slow atm so the upload might take 5-6 hours or only 3. Not sure. So far my mixing is looking great but I fucked up the stardiver to malaka dance mix a bit (doesn't sound too bad though) it was a "oh shit where are the beats" moment. Not quite good enough to match up non kicks just by reading it yet.
  8. Anything Juno Reactor... none of their stuff is too repetitive.
  9. Yeh... windows media player says 2.5 hours for me but I'm pretty sure it's shorter (88 mins sounds right)
  10. I've heard of a few instances of this happening... apparently half the time it takes them ages and half the time they blame the producer.
  11. I remember downloading one of them and not really liking it (I think it was first one) after about 3 tracks... I think I'll give it another chance though concidering the quality of this one.
  12. If you have no way of doing it I'll split it up and upload it for you. That's really the main reason why I got cool edit pro(that and converting formats easy).
  13. Brilliant... not the biggest fan of techno unmixed... I'll defenitly check this mix out though.
  14. After hearing how brilliant flow is on youtube... and after realising that Deep Space 5D is perhaps the best Goa Track ever... I'm defenitly gonna get this cd. From this thread the only things I've heard bad is production quality... I don't really care about that.
  15. Well royal doof was advertised as Psy but it sounded more like dance with like one space pad per set. There was like one good DJ there out of 8 okay ones and 1 horrible one I saw. I went to a hippy thing yesterday advetising itself as bring your own instrument with a bit of doof. Upon turning up theres your usual bongos... 30 minutes later DJ booth is set up with 2 cdjs and 2 decks and a professional looking mixer. The DJ players reggae for an hour (fair enough he's a warmup DJ) and more people gradually begin to dance up to about 10... he then plays a rather simple sounding breaksish track and then the rest of the tracks up until me leaving in disgust turn out to be hip hop. WTF WAS HE THINKING? Like once the first lyrics come in everyone but one guy leave the dancefloor and everyone there hated the music. The guy could beatmatch but I dunno wtf reading the crowd is supposed to mean but there were more people dancing to the Reggae. Fuck there woulda been more people dancing to an ambient CD. I think overall the Psy scene here isn't too bad... nothing wrong with hippies tbh. And seriously... if I ever go to one of those things like that I'll advertise myself to the organiser as a Goa/Psy DJ for free. If he doesn't know what it is I'm sure he'll like it a lot better then mr I'm going to play hip hop at a fucking hippy fest. What a douche. Hopefully that was his first event as a warmup DJ and he never gets hired again (at least not to anywhere decent). I'm really lucky I don't live in America though... the music and feel there is crap.
  16. Well my point was it worked really well with the flow. :drama:

  18. Dimension 5-Deep space 5d "Come on space people lets do it" made me cry and laugh at the same time... god some of the tracks are just so atmospheric you just cry out of happyness/sadness... it's like watching a really good sci fi movie. God listening to it again now... the bit before the pad is just wow... then pad comes in... really wow! Crying atm! Mahadeva 99 beutiful melodies.
  19. Haven't heard of any the tracks... but the artists are brilliant! I'm defenitly going to enjoy this one! Great mix... some of the earlier tracks were a bit iffy but great later tracks later on and flow. Was a great listen while I played solo bnet tft.

Been a while since this was supposed to be aired (got aired earlier today though) due to the Net directer having some health issues. Anyway hopefully you guys like it and apparently it's better then week one :drama: (although personally I like week 1 better although this is nearly as good). Hope you guys enjoy it
  21. Don't mind techno/industrial.... can't stand straight techno though. Not interesting enough.
  22. IIRC Flute flute only goes for 2 minutes... cosmic ascension goes for 9 minutes though and I think that had like one verse of flute after the break near the end... BTW I'm really happy atm because my net radio show directer came back. I'll be able to release next weeks one tonight after it's been aired. I assure you it's much better quality then Aliens from the future. (Order of production was Welcome to Goa, A Psychedelic moon rising and then Aliens from the future... not that I'm getting worse... that was an experimental mix that's all). I'll take what I've learned from you guys and improve for next week. I'm defenitly going to use the fader more that's for sure. Like I dunno about you guys but every time you can be anything came in in "Aliens from the future" I got a bit of a fright... that can't be a good thing.
  23. How to convince them that fullon psy is better? Seriously it's way more pumping and hardstyle is just horrible. I'm gonna try Electric Universe-Acidance and similar.
