  1. Theres certainly plenty of good psy and Goa Trance. Just Goa Trance in general has more good stuff. The really excellent stuff is usually either goa or Psy that's heavily Goa influenced... like Acidance by Electric Universe.
  2. BTW this doesn't say much. YOu need additional notes and average download speed. For example... Filefront has very fast download speed. Also Megupload doesn't let you download multiple files at the same time. It also doesn't let you download any files off megaupload for another like 2 hours. NOT GOOD for getting multiple sets off the one person who uploads them all to megupload... the speed is ok though (better then yousendit)
  3. Thanks... btw new HIGHER QUALITY link: http://files.filefront.com/Welcome+to+Goa+...;/fileinfo.html
  4. I'm not sure if this is relevent by Infected mushroom really piss me off. They spammed my myspace with "vote for top 100 DJ" when chances are most of the people haven't seen them and besides they aren't even electronic anymore. At least Chi Ad bothered to say thanks for friend add. I would really love to meet some Psy artists though... too bad Penta was only on at Royal Doof at like 3am.
  5. Album: Cosmic Experience Song: Stardiver For some reason I thought gajinrocker and fast forward the future had the same guitar riff... listening to them recently I don't know why I thought that at all.
  6. I'm The Supervisor wasn't Psy but I loved it. This however is crap.
  7. Personally I heard Distance to Goa first... didn't like it much and at the time I was mainly listening to Psy. After that I heard Goa Head which was what got me into oldschool Goa. Destination Goa I heard for the first time a week ago which totally blew me away with it's eastern sounds and very atmospheric tracks. Which one do you guys prefer out of those 3 or are there another Major Noteable compilation series out there?
  8. Psychomachine As a child Def by Delta Part 2
  9. Really? Further comments about rock similarities? I don't find this at all.
  10. Yes. I was at one of my mum's concerts after parties and the guy who lived with the guy who's place the party was at made DarkPsy. Apparently he liked Heavy metal as a kid. Yeh so we ended up talking about music in general and that was pretty cool... he also burnt me a lot of good CDs. Like 9 pills and Send in Send Back by The Delta. Damn they were good cds.
  11. I voted consistent and building. Theres some really nice atmoshperic mixes that are very consistent and are quite clear and very well flowing which are quite nice for when your in the mood. A mix that's about dancing and having a good time should be building and slightly erratic sometimes. Personally I usually have a clear buildup and sometimes a change of mood/pace with one song.
  12. +1 Theres some quality Infected Mushroom stuff but they defenitly seem A LOT better when you first start listening to Psytrance. Very good opener. I got into IM first.
  13. Yeh just listened to Cybernetikas warpcore 3 (Dark Psy)... professional quality track you have there defenitly. I usually stay away from anything described as Psy in the TA forums (apart from Cybernetika's productions) due to it's comeplete crapness. Not sure where you got the full on idea from though. I'd tag it as Dark Psy just Dark Psy. Will look forward to your future productions here at psynews.
  14. So any chance of a high quality link coming? I'm looking forward to it if there is.
  15. Thanks for the CDA link. That cd you mailed me I can play now when I insert it in my drive. I don't remember how to open windows media player so now I have something to double click. Most stuff is recorded in wav (if your recorder records at 96kbps or less get a new one... fast... for the original file you'll want at least 320kbps mp3 or better) Quick google gets http://www.smartwavconverter.com/ it's got a free trial. I'm sure theres at least one free wav-mp3 converter out there. Standard bitrate is 192kbps for mixes... more if you want better quality. IMO Filefront is defenitly a decent filehosting site.
  16. Never heard an ambient mix before... tracklist looks nice!(Heard artists not any of those tracks unfortunately). Will download later.
  17. So any chance of a decent quality version?
  18. Never heard it but I really like Vibraspheres downbeat stuff (especially ice flows) will check this al
  19. No thats just the first song I usually have an ambient first song in mixes. Sorry mate. Your picture goes really well with your post again.
  20. Not a big fan of Dark Psy but this was pretty nice. Had some nice melodies and breakdowns. Certainly a good mood setter but not necassarily so much a dancer.
  21. This ones got your standard Goa stuff but with a kind of dark progresive side of goa on the second half(aka industrial maybe? not familiar with terms) with people like The delta, Etnica, X Dream and Nucleus. It's also in nice and high VBR quality. http://files.filefront.com//;8380873;;/ Aliens from the future 1. Jade Garden-Celtic Cross No BPM change 2. Paranormal activity(spooky)-Chi A.D. 12a 150BPM to 148 at break 3. Big trouble in outer space-Man with no name presents Yogi&Grey One 11a 148.5 after last song 149 at first break 4. V.T.O.L. (Full Length)-Technossomy 10a 149.5 At first break and 150 at second 5. Spiritul Healing-The muses Rapt 10B no mix between this and next 150 throughout 6. You can be anything-Space Tribe 11b (default 147) 7. Martian Civilzation-Children of The Doc 11b 147 throughout 8. Fast forward the future-Zodiac Youth 8B 147.5 After first mix 148 in first break 9. Tokyo Underground-California Sunshine 9B 148 Throughout 9. Dark Hourse-Nucleus 9B 10. Broken Spirals-Exploring inner space 8b 11. Go Ahead-Spiritul 8A 12. Psychomachine-X Dream 2B 13. Waterworld-Zabra 3B 148.5 at first break 14. Def by Delta Part 2-The Delta 3A 149 bpm at break 15. Juice-Joti Sidhu 7a 149.5 bpm at break 16. Detonater-Bus 7b 150 bpm after mix finish I decided to extend this several times and I'm very happy I did every time. I made this two days ago. It goes for an 2 hours. I recently found out about harmonic mixing and this has an enfacice on that. I think the flow works well (I deliberately changed the mood several times here). I'd like to see what you guys think. If your like wtf is 8a thats the camelot wheel symbols (8A is specefically A minor). If you can't be bothered looking stuff up... A is minors and B is majors (numbers are assigned according to what flats/sharps etc but I'm not really too sure about that and don't know much about it). Would really like to see what you guys think of how it went. [Edit] Meh may as well
  22. Really? Mail please! Anyway I'm downloading now. Recognise a few of the songs (which are really good) so I think this mix could be good! [Edit] Make that I would download a non WMA version. Comon... surely 192kbps+ isn't too hard?
