Rate the above track - Fun game

Recommended Posts

Whoa! You're gone too far ^_^ and it's not even the other music's section.

Jazz/funk or somethin? Wellplayed, good skills, but not very attracted by the theme. I'll give a 6 out of 10 trying to rate it from a jazzy point of view.

Mellow, easy-listening, but lacking something making it special. Therefore it's average imo. 6/10.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwqycV9S-fY   Mr. Goossens...so good, so underrated...

no one rated the track above but we can give it another try with this track: Quirk - Ping https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOeKVmyNivA

Nice soundscapes, indeed, with stomping rhythms. Solid material. A/A If i had though to accompany the music with an image theme, that would be with something futuristic & adventurous.   https:/

A japanese eurodance/trance track, perhaps from an anime's soundtrack. It's fast & energetic but too pop and happy for my cup of tea. Generally, i like this kind of pop/rock/contemporary music from Japan oftenly used as animes' soundtrack. 7/10 as a rate for the vocals.

thanks Mr Mustafa for a track I would have never listened to if not posted here.

It's beautiful and relaxing. 8/10

Now in a totally different genre what do you guys think of this Xenomorph track? (Gehinom... I like it!)

Uhm, sir I thought it is an ok track untill around 4:00 with obvious reason :) Track up to ca. 4:00 6/10, complete track 4/10. But this style is too "fast"

for me anyway and not "fat" enough on bass/kick side.

Haha that Sonic empire track above is nice memories for me! :)

The Order odonata track is ok IMO but very generic at the same time and does sound a bit too old, so it is a 5/10 for me

Next: Ubar tmar - Isis

the soft side of Ka-Sol :) I like the track, although I feels it's missing something... it just doesn't really get me out of my chair :P 7/10

Very good track, the first half sounds kind of darkish and hypnotic... and after the 13 minute mark the moods changes and we got a nice eastern melody...more could have happened after that melody but still 19 minutes is a long track and a very good one. 8/10.

Sounds cool old, and much 303ish stuff. However I grown tired of this style also don´t like the voice samples. However still very solid track 7/10, sadly a bit ruined by the cheese.

Guess the stuff I post atm is more on the techy and darker side. Hope someone still likes it.

"culture of human beings" is probably my favourite acid trance track ever released.

I was a teenager and one night I heard this on the radio and fell in love straight away, few days later I bought the compilation Cyber trance 5 where you can also listen to Intoxication - Flight 303 and Darshan - Navigator. Epic stuff, pure rave music, can't do much better than that. 9/10

next: Sandman - Shockwave

8.6/10

A rich and surprizing piece of Goa that anticipates Forest trance. Furious bassline, creative patterns, and exquisite ambiances full of mystical symbols. A lot of twists and turns, but a regular pumping energy. Very nice.

4.9/10

A progressive Goa track that is actually... too progressive. Minimalism can sound very nice, but here the song lacks evolution, and sometimes sounds as a glitch. It's a bit irritating, and some passages are long. It's not very creative, but at least, the "modulation spirit" of the Golden era is here.

Wow! It's been ages I didn't listen to this track, pure good memories a unique hypnotic goa track. Wish I could find more of this style. Thanks for posting.

From one technoscape to another!

Nice track with a catchy evolving backround, haunting atmosphere and unfolding sounds, steady unstoppable pace. B+

Pretty good IMO! I just wish more happened after the 4th minute mark (the same melody comes back) but the mastering is flawless and it is good for chilling, the dub-step like beat fits very well. 7/10.

Crazy track, a bit to much high frequencies for my taste but otherwise cool 7,5/10. Seems a lot of reverb on the kickdrums, too (a bit too much?)

Btw. I liked many tracks posted recently here, cheers :)
