Rate the above track - Fun game

Recommended Posts

Ok it's been a while since we had a game. This one is really simple. You post a track and the next person rates it from 1-10 and posts his track.

-Tracks can be from any psy genre.

-1 track per time and plz use the same reply for both the rating and the track.

-I think it would be better if we justify the rating. Nothing long just the main reason behing our rating.

Let's start:

Mellow, easy-listening, but lacking something making it special. Therefore it's average imo. 6/10.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwqycV9S-fY   Mr. Goossens...so good, so underrated...

no one rated the track above but we can give it another try with this track: Quirk - Ping https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOeKVmyNivA

Nice soundscapes, indeed, with stomping rhythms. Solid material. A/A If i had though to accompany the music with an image theme, that would be with something futuristic & adventurous.   https:/

Hmmm, it's not a bad track, but I think the mixing could've been done a bit better, sounds really muddy. Maybe that was the intention. Melodies are pretty solid but the sample is rather cheesy, albeit cool-sounding. I'll give it a 6/10... There are better tracks... but also worse ones ^^

Wow, you can't go wrong with Pleiadians, especially with I.F.O. I'll give it 9 out of 10 stars just because the fact it's not my favorite one from the album, but overall, great track. My pick for next rating is this one:

One of my absolute favorites from Aes Dana. Monumental track with an unbelievable atmosphere... I was once listening to this album when it was raining like hell and there was a thunderstorm brewing. Right when Lysistrata began, the first thunder and lightning struck... It was magical! I know the name is from Greek mythology and it's aptly named because then it felt like I was at an epic Greek mythological battle. The chants are hauntingly beautiful, the drive feels very earthly. Great track, 9/10.

Being a huge Vibrasphere fan I can't be that much objective when it comes to their music, especially a downtempo one. Manazila is probably my favorite downtempo tune by them, but Tierra Azul isn't something that can't be compared with that one, so I'll give this one 8 out of 10 stars, great production, great relaxation. My next suggestion will be also a calmer one:

This track is classic Darshan. Acidic, dark and fast. Good use of hats. Melodically one of their best. 8,5/10

blimey I've had this track on my hard drive for AGES under the false name "Green Nuns of the Revolution - Two Vindaloos and an Onion" and I didn't have a clue who it really was from... until now thanks :) Also one of my favorite midtempo tracks so I'd give it a 9/10 :)

Audiopathik 's track : OK. I made the same comment recently about the new Kindzadza tracks, i said if it was 145 bpm fast it would be probably great. Here the Audiopathik track ithink it's even worst, unfortunately i find it very difficult to listen to, only because of the high bpm, it's like hardcore to me. 4/10 for the effort. My humble opinion of course, i'm allergic to this kind of music ;)
